I was a patient of Dr. Iqbal and his son. They were nice people but are terrible at what they do. I had braces with them back when I was 15 and it was an extensive processes. Through those years my parents had to pay for many unnecessary visits including tuning or gluing. They did an extremely poor and careless job with me. 1) Before: had a palate expander and the left side was always loose and kept falling off with little pressure. Never was put on properly after being told. Now: the whole left side of my upper teeth are more narrow than the right. 2) Before: I had plaque build up on both my lateral incisors, they didn't remove them or try to while braces was on, only after they were removed they decided to clean it up (charged me ofcourse). The plaque was so bad that it decaded both my teeth on top portion. Now: I have 2 dark spots on my tooth that won't go away and has chipped away and will always cost money to fix in the future. 3) Before: Upon removal of braces the finished product wasn't satisfying at all. I had an uneven smile from my left side with a huge gap between the top and bottom row and it was very obvious. Me and my concerned mother went and I remember him telling both of as if we were idiots that the issue will fix over time with the help of the retainers. Now: I have a uneven and insecure smile and may have to get braces again along with other work from the terrible treatment from them. I went to a more skilled dentist and she told me in her first visit "who ever did your braces did a terrible job" further validating my ideas. There are many more occasions I can complain about but I'll leave the ones that ruined my smile out there first. At the time I was only 15 and both me and my parents were new, they easily took advantage. Now that I am much older I realized how much a terrible thing they have done and caution everyone before investing your time and money with them. Quality of service is atrocious and careless.
