Each room is equipped with a computer used to display digital x-rays of your teeth, as well as educational materials, digital before and after pictures, and more. With the help of intraoral cameras, we can help further diagnose and treat dental problems while giving the patient a first-hand view of their oral condition.
Our doctors are well trained and are specialized in restoring missing teeth and teeth that are about to be lost with dental implants and traditional prosthesis. We restore damaged, carious, and unsightly teeth using porcelain crowns, porcelain laminates, and tooth-colored fillings.
Dr. Mamoon Iqbal graduated from the prestigious Half Hollow Hills H.S. East in Dix Hills, N.Y. During his secondary education, Dr. Mamoon was a National Merit Scholar as well as a member of the National Honor Society. Dr. Iqbal placed first in Long Island and sixth in the nation in the National Spanish Exam.
After graduating in the top five percent of the class, Dr. Iqbal was accepted as one of a handful of students to the prestigious seven-year combined accelerated B.A.-D.D.S. program in the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University. During his educational career, Dr. Mamoon did laboratory research at the Department of Biochemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Mamoon volunteered in various clinics and hospitals and had first-hand dental experience from a young age working under the tutelage of his father. While in dental school, Dr. Mamoon completed rotations in various hospitals and was one of the top producers in his clinic. After graduating from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2004, Dr. Mamoon went straight into practice. Dr. Mamoon has a great zeal for further education and has completed a two-year training course with the United States Dental Institute in the field of orthodontics for children and adults. Dr. Mamoon has also completed sub-specialty training at the Implant Surgery and Prosthetic Continuing Education Course at the Rosenthal Institute at the New York University College of Dentistry from 2005 to 2007. He has logged extensive hours of clinical and didactic training concentrated in the placement and restoration of implants. Following the course, Dr. Mamoon became a fellow in good standing with the International College of Oral Implantology (ICOI). He is currently working on his diplomate. Dr. Iqbal also served one year as a clinical associate at the implant program at NYUCD. Dr. Mamoon also has completed training courses at the Nobel Biocare Center in Mahwah, New Jersey. Dr. Mamoon has introduced the latest techniques into his practice such as the Simplant computer-aided Implant placement tool. He is ever striving to give his patients quality care for a healthy smile that would last a lifetime. In his free time, Dr. Mamoon is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting. He also enjoys reading and traveling and spending time with his family.
Dr. Iqbal has graduated from the prestigious Khyber Medical College of the University of Peshawar in Pakistan. K.M.C. is one of the top health education institutions in Asia and has attracted students from all over the world. After graduating with a high honors B.D.S, Dr. Iqbal practiced for one year and migrated to the U.S. During his qualification process, Dr. Iqbal kept in touch with his profession by working as a lab technician, mastering the esthetic art of prosthetic design as well as bridging the gap between the clinic and the lab.
After being admitted to the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Iqbal finished the program for foreign-trained dentists in record time and went into private practice. Dr. Iqbal has maintained private practices in three boroughs (Manhattan, Bronx, and Queens). Dr. Iqbal has given back to the community by being on the dental panel for the NYC Dept of Health. He was the first exposure to dental care and hygiene for many young children in the New York City Public School system. In 1987, Dr. Iqbal served for a year as the dental director at the Royal King Fahd Hospital in the city of Medina al-Munawarrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Iqbal is constantly striving to be on the leading cusp of dentistry by introducing innovative techniques into his practice. While in practice, the zeal for further education did not dampen and Dr. Iqbal was on the cutting edge of new research and techniques. Dr. Iqbal completed sub-specialty training in orthodontics and has completed an extensive number of successful cases over the years. He was one of the first dentists to employ the Witzig technique in orthodontics and is constantly using new and better techniques to provide efficient and quality-oriented results. He is also a Diplomat of the Implant Maxicourse from the Brookdale University Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Iqbal does extensive volunteer work and is socially active in the community. He is an avid reader, gardener, and has beekeeping and home improvement as one of his many hobbies. Dr. Iqbal also enjoys spending time with his family and five grandchildren.

Called for an appointment for my chipped tooth. They let me come in the same day, which was great. Place is very welcoming. Staff was very organized and respectful. The dentist was great, wasted no time, got right to it. Did a great job. Overall, very pleased with there service. This was my first time visiting. My family has been coming here for years. This will definitely be my new spot!

The service was very good, the staff was very helpful. Dr.Mamoon is a very good and honest doctor. He did a very good job on my daughters extraction. It's very easy to get an appointment. 10/10 recommend

I rarely ever give a place one star, but truly they are deserving. As a doctor, it is your job to treat your patients. Period. Unfortunately, Dr. Iqbal (both son and father) are more concerned with how much money they can make off a person and treat them accordingly. What I don't understand is if you find that someone's insurance isn't giving you enough for it to be worth your time to do a procedure, just don't accept their insurance. Rather, they take the patient on, then when they see they aren't getting enough money for the visit they complain about it to the patient and do a terrible job. They don't fill in cavities and allow them to worsen to the point of rotting and then suggest root canal. I don't know if they do it intentionally or are just incompetent but it really is ridiculous to treat your patients with such lack of concern. I would not trust them to take care of myself or my family. EDIT: I do not mean to attack either doctor personally. I'm sure they are great people, but the quality of service was unacceptable. I hope they fix that and serve the community in a more effective manner.

I was in so much pain before visiting Iqbal Dental Group, I was in emergency situation and I called Dr. Mamoon Iqbal at 8:45 am when I called him and told him I was in emergency situation. He immediately squeezed me into his schedule and did two root canals within 90 minutes for my two infected teeth. I couldn't be happy, my teeth had worst infection possible one of them was a hot tooth which Mr. Iqbal gave me the confidence to be calm and told me it will hurt for a second. I was scared, He gave me so much confidence after which I knew I am in good hands and really took care of me which I will not forget. He got magical hands, he won't let you feel the pain. He is honest and straight to the point and professional, and the staff members are also very humble and kind. I will definitely recommend this dentist to every one and definitely deserve 5 stars. Thank you so guys.

I have been going here for as long as I can remember and the service is unmatched! I've visited many different offices and the Iqbal dental group is by far the most professional, well kept office with outstanding service. All the equipment is in perfect shape, new, and very advanced. Furthermore, the staff are always very amiable and make me feel welcomed. I could write a whole essay about this remarkable office, however I will conclude here by saying that I'm so glad I've been able to find a dentist office that has been so convenient, competent, and proficient!

Amongst South Asians of greater-Queens and Long Island - it would be at best a surprise if someone were unacquainted with the Iqbal Dental Group. My experience with Dr's Mohammad and Mamoon Iqbal has been a goldilocks between the attention of workplace and homeliness of personal life. I have been a patient since teething. It's ( unfortunately) unusual to here regard for one's doctors but I am glad to say that is not my case.

Dr Mamoon Iqbal is excellent dentist who takes general care for his all the patients . Even during peak covid times he was working everyday , taking care of his patients by being there in person not virtually He gives full attention , care & time to his patients . Worse place ever, came for a 11:30 appointment and they saw walkins before me i was the last patient seen plus when i finally got my teeth clean seeing that i wear braces and this place was recommended my teeth was still full of plaque. I felt i was treated differently because i was the only African American in there and they all are indians, Will no be returning here.

I had to get a root canal and I delayed it for so long because I dreaded my last experience. This time I was recommended to Dr. Mamoon's office and my experience was amazing! Dr. Mamoon is so patient and has a very gentle hand so he made the whole procedure painless and quick! When you are sitting in that chair you can certainly feel confident that you went to the right person! He is extremely professional and knows exactly what he is doing! He made my whole experience pleasant and he is now my go-to dentist for complex procedures. Now when I think of a root canal it doesn't seem scary at all. His office is very welcoming and it feels like home. The staff is also very efficient. His office is about an hour away, but its so worth the drive! The best part is, he has the Quran playing in the room which brings even more barakah. They are very respectful, honest, and sincere in their khidmah. May Allah SWT bless him and his family with the BEST of both worlds!
