Dr. Binkowski graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2011, he received an extra year of training in the US Air Forces AEGD-1 program where he received advanced training in areas of IV sedation dentistry as well as oral surgery from several board certified specialists. After completion of his AEGD-1 he spent 3 years in Alaska providing comprehensive dental care to active duty troops at Eielson AFB near Fairbanks. In 2015 he transitioned from active duty to the Iowa Air National Guard in Des Moines. Since moving back to Iowa in 2015, he has completed numerous hours of continuing education in the areas of IV sedation anesthesia and hands on surgical courses. Recently he has been brought on as part time staff for Western Surgical and Sedation, an organization that helps teach general dentists how to provide safe IV sedation and wisdom teeth removal in their own offices. When not providing wisdom teeth removal services at Iowa Wisdom Teeth or its affiliates, he likes spending time with family, fishing and riding his Peloton.
Mindy Miller CRNA, the owner of Heartland Anesthesia & Consulting, has been a CRNA for 15 years. She has in-depth knowledge and experience with dental sedation as well as other types of office-based anesthesia. In her practice, she provides anesthesia services for offices and hospitals across this state. She has been working together with Dr Binkowski since 2017 to provide safe IV deep sedation in a dental setting.
