Our son is on the spectrum and they did a wonderful job with him. from the person who cleaned his teeth through the x-rays and all the way to the dentist everyone is very good at what they do. And they take the time to make sure that he was comfortable to me that's important.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They always treat kids with respect and keep them informed with what they are doing, and why. Minimum wait time, kid-friendly environment. Been taking kids for 10 years and they've never been nervous or afraid to go to dentist. Love Dr Peterson and team.

My 8 year old son had a cavity filled. As usual, the entire staff was wonderful! We drive from Ottumwa, because they are so fantastic with kids! It's wonderful knowing my kids never dread going to the dentist!

We've been there twice and had a good experience. We're trying to get on the schedule for another appointment and have had the appointment moved on us 4 times! This has been super inconvenient.

They will not answer their phones or return messages. Tried calling the one office number provided from the start of the day til the end of the day, also leaving a message and nothing, for two days in the middle of the work week. If you need to confirm appointment times, cancel, or reschedule good luck.

** Updated from 3 to 4 stars because I tried texting the number that cancelled our appointment and was able to reschedule within minutes. So if you have their text line (which I'm saving in my phone contacts) you're good to go! I hate leaving a bad review because the staff and our experience IN the office have been great. However getting a scheduled appointment has been a nightmare. They NEVER answer their phones and they don't return calls. I don't get it??? I've called every day for 2 weeks at different times and left multiple messages to reschedule an appointment for my son that they cancelled via text -- which we had to wait over a month just to get scheduled. And this isn't the first time that I haven't received call backs or pickups. At this point, I'm going to have to find a new dentist because my son's cavity isn't getting any better!

We love the Pediatric Dental Center in Cedar Rapids. They are patient and kind and go out of their way to make sure your kid feels safe and comfortable during their visit.

I love this place. My kids love this place. WHEN we ever get to go there. I haven't had the pleasure of having anyone in this place answer the phone when I've called in the past six months to try to schedule my three kids an appointment . I work at a place where we cannot have our phones on the floor and have a very strict break schedule. I literally missed their phone call today by maybe two minutes or less (they were probably in progress of leaving the voicemail) when I had called back and still got no answer. My best bet is probably to drive to this place and make an appointment at the desk if there is someone there, this issue with never reaching anybody by phone is just frustrating and ridiculous. This is a great place to take kids for their care, just don't ever expect them to answer their phone.

The staff seem to enjoy their job. However contacting the office is a job in itself. They do not answer the phones and do not return phone calls in the 24-48 hour time period. We are switching because of this being a common issue that I have had over the last 2 years, additionally reaching out to friends this is an issue they had as well. Sad to be going as the staff are friendly but can't get anyone to answer the phones especially in an emergency type situation.

When we first walked in we were greeted right away with a friendly smile, everyone was nice and listened to what I had to say about my granddaughter Brooklyne and my concerns and answered any questions I had.

This place was a 10/10 until we got to scheduling. The kids loved it. We were in and out super fast. Everything was explained very well. There was so much kids stuff,it was a good distraction. My son needs a cavity fixed and we got to scheduling and the told us 6 months. I feel if they are that far off, That should be told before we make a consultation appointment. The care they give is great but I feel waiting that long to get a treatment is awful
