Dr. Mark Guevarra is originally from Vancouver, Canada, and has lived all over the continent to pursue his education. Dr. Mark received his Honors Specialization degree in Biology from Western University in London, Ontario. He then received his Master of Science in Biological Sciences at Mississippi College, where he graduated with the highest Summa Cum Laude distinction. Dr. Mark went on to complete his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from The University of Pennsylvania, graduating with Honors in Clinical Dentistry, and Community Service. Dr. Guevarra continued his Ivy League training at UPenn to complete his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, where he served as Chief Resident.

Prior to joining our team, Dr. Mark practiced in Chicago for 2.5 years, where he was grateful to help transform smiles for thousands of patients. Dr. Mark is ecstatic to join us here at Iowa Orthodontic Solutions Powered by Smile Doctors, and deliver excellent, personalized care to all of our patients. Outside of the office, you may see Dr. Mark running at Waterworks Park, playing tennis at the local courts, and searching for the best Pork Tenderloin in Iowa!

I have been in the orthodontic field since 1993. My favorite part of the job is talking with the kids, who keep me young! I especially enjoy watching the change in their smiles as they progress with their braces, and find their HUGE smiles when their braces come off to be truly rewarding. I thoroughly enjoy my job, my co-workers, and especially the people who are helped by Iowa Orthodontic Solutions!

When Im not with my 'second family' at work, I love to spend time with my four-legged daughter, Dottie. I also value spending time with my family,digging in the dirt,going to the beach, lake, or pool,making soy candles,doing acrylic painting,going for walks,watching movies,reading,and hanging out with my friends.

I have been working in the orthdonticssince 1997, and every day has been a great experience. Our practice is a lively and fun place to work and be around, and Im thankful for having such a wonderful place to call home.

Since 2004, I have been a dental assistant at our practice. I help our doctors by assisting chairside with our patients treatments and being available to do anything I can to give the people who come to see us the most rewarding orthodontic experience. Our team is so caring and thoughtful when it comes to the comfort and health of our patients, and it is an honor to be a part of such a great practice.

I have been working forthe practice since 1998, and I love using my experience and skills to create positive changes in our patients lives. It is rewarding to see how happy our patients are with their treatment, and it gives me a great sense of pride to know that I helped them throughout their orthodontic journey. I love how positive and upbeat our staff is, which makes each day fun!

Ihelp inall of our locations as front desk assistant as well as behind the scenes. My favorite part of this job is watching our patients grow up. Some are with us for several years, others just a few, but I always enjoy watching their transitions through the years.

I am the Field Marketing Representativefor our practice. Icoordinate marketing and public relations, develope promotional materials, plan company events, visit dental offices, and develope patient experience strategies. Iowa Orthodontic Solutions is such a fun, positive environment. We strive for excellence in providing our patients and parents with a welcoming smile and great quality of service.

My favorite quote from the movie Elfis:I just like smiling, smiling is my FAVORITE!In addition to smiling, I LOVE shopping and finding bargains,spending time with my kids,Alivia and Grant, running and weight lifting,painting,decorating, and spending time with family and friends. I also have two dogs at home, Lilly and Carl.

I help patients with scheduling, insurance, and financial questions ...all with a smile. My favorite part of working here is seeing our young patients grow up into beautiful, smiling young adults right before our eyes. Our office is one of warmth and friendliness from the day of your new patient exam until the day your braces come off. It has been fun to see over the years our kidpatients now grown and bringing their families in for braces!

I am married to my junior high sweetheart,Steve, andwe have a very spoiledfour-legged daughter, a Dalmatiannamed Nitro Funny Girl. My free time is spent helping my husband with his business, walking, andshopping withmy two favorite nieces.

I have been working as our lab tech in our practice since 1988, making retainers and keeping records of all patient models and impressions. I also assist with patients when needed, and help with taking calls.I love my job and take pride in working for Drs. Langwithand Roush.

They are quick, friendly and efficient. As an older braces owner, these things are important to me. I would recommend to anybody. Thank you, Dr. Mark, for helping bring my smile back. At 47, I had been resigned to never having one. You guys are awesome.

Since Dr Langwith left, the place is not the same. Lost that personal/family feel. Glad my last kiddo is almost done with braces.

I wish I can give them 0 star. I called >2 months ago to make an appointment. I've specifically told them it is a transfer case. The first available appointment is 2 months away. I've waited for 2 months. Until the day before the appointment, they told me they don't accept transfer case. Two months passed, my daughter needs a tune up at this time. How irresponsible they are. Now I have to find a new orthodontist and wait for their open slot.

They switched the billing system so our payments are messed up every single month. They refuse to settle it while we are there and make us call in. Their out of date phone system takes 5 minutes to get connected and an hour to fix the same problem every month. Choose a place that respects their customers.

I can't say enough good things about the Johnston office! When the pandemic started, my son was mid-braces. My husband is high-risk and we were understandably nervous about resuming office visits when things started opening up. After they talked me through their safety protocol and offered to see my son when no other patients were in the office, I was crying grateful tears. Businesses that have worked with us to protect my family through this will forever have my loyalty. Also, my son's teeth are looking amazing

Iowa Orthodontics has put all 3 of our kids' braces on and their teeth look fabulous. Dr. Hull's attention to detail is second-to-none. The staff is also very welcoming every time we come in. I highly recommend them!

I went threw treatment with Dr. Hull as a kid. Now as a mother I will be starting treatment with my son who unfortunately got my big teeth and little mouth. I am confident that Dr. Hull and his staff will create a beautiful smile for my children as they did for me. I still get compliments on my smile! I love that I see familiar faces from when I was a kid also. They always made me look forward to my appointments such fun staff and doctors. They always take time with you. I was terrified of the dentist as a kid and my orthodontic treatment and this staff helped me get over that fear. As a kid I drove two hours for treatment. I will again be driving 1.5-2 hours for my sons treatment. My family and I recently moved to Omaha and I will be making the drive to one of their many locations for my boys treatment because they are people I know and trust.

Eh. The doctors are mostly indifferent and don't seem to care about patients. The assistants seem quite rude sometimes and don't show deference normally shown in the service industry.

We've had 3 people get braces from Langwith in our house. My kids were getting theirs done and I decided I might as well have perfect teeth too. Great experience everyone is super nice and can always find you an appointment that works with your schedule at one of the offices.
