My second time being *cared for* here (because sometimes we slack a little on dental hygiene) BUT, both times I have to honestly say I wouldn't reccomend any other office, or trust another office with my care. From the check in desk, to the chair you'll receive the BEST interaction, and BEST care you could ask for. They take time to get to know you, your needs, and once you're in that "dreaded" dental chair, they explain the procedure step by step while performing it to make you as comfortable and at ease as they can make you. I have a terrible gag reflex, I get very stressed, and get incredibly degrading anxiety when having dental work done but I can say this office has been so incredible to me that I'd send all my friends and family there if they'd go. They're literally so great that I've went there twice for root canals. Shoutout to Jay, the check in man. He's awesome and will give you every ounce of joy he can give while you sit in the waiting room! The doctor who has done my root canals is so awesome, as is her assistant. Folks, I'm telling you as someone who dreads any dental work (no offense to dentists...hate the game, not the players) I'll continue to use this office for my surgical dental needs. No insurance? No problem, they'll work with you so you can get relief. High stress and anxiety? No big deal! They'll get you through it. Want a healthier smile, and better teeth? GO HERE. I don't take time to write reviews often nor do I give 5 stars frequently unless I feel it's deserved. This is absolutely deserved.

I hate dentist to the core. But Dr. Sheaffer and her staff were amazing. By far did the best job at numbing the area so I didn't feel a thing. I would absolutely recommend family to visit her. Patient, informative and she just cares that you're comfortable. Let's be serious, I never want to do that again, but if I do, I'll only go to her now!

Highly recommend this place! They worked to get me in when I was in horrible pain and are the nicest people! They will take great care of you and explain everything very clearly. Even the receptionist is great! Thank you!

I went to Iowa Endodontics for a root canal procedure. Dr. Michelle Schaeffer did my procedure. Dr. Schaeffer is very good at what she does. She always keeps me informed as she is treating me. She frequently asks if I am doing okay and reassures me that everything is going well. I have great confidence in her. This last time that I went to see her was actually my third time in which she had done a procedure on my teeth. She has a way of making you feel very calm because she is so kind and considerate. Plus her attention to detail is spot on. Her assistant Denise was excellent also. And each time I have gone to this office the assistants were always so kind too. Plus the office person, Jay, is very kind and helps with any questions I may have about billing or office visits. I would highly recommend Iowa Endodontics to anyone needing specialized work done on their teeth.

Dr. Schaefer did a great job with my root canal. She explained the process to me step by step, and made sure I knew what she was doing and that I was comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

I am nervous about dental work period. When I heard I needed a root canal all I could think of was the worst. However, Dr. Schaeffer is absolutely top notch. Extremely professional, patience, and reassurance during consultation and the actually procedure. Her attending staff was also awesome! The procedure itself felt less invasive than a filling! I was thoroughly numbed and felt nothing. As the procedure went on I felt more and more relaxed as Dr S talked me through what she was doing, why she was doing it, etc. Now I never want another root canal but would not hesitate to come back here for treatment! Thanks Dr S and Team!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Schaeffer. This was my first root canal and I was very nervous to the point of cold sweats and nausea just thinking about it. Dr. Schaeffer was wonderful in taking her time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. It was also very obvious that Dr Schaeffer is very careful in her work - she's not just trying to crank out numbers and work as fast as she can to get to the next patient - she takes pride in her work, doing it well to the benefit of the patient, and I really appreciate that. I am in no way eager to have another root canal, but there is no one else I would trust more to work on my teeth.

A stellar experience to say the least. I'm an over the road truck driver, not from the area. I needed a root canal done and they were able to work me in to an already busy schedule the day after I called to set up an appointment. The entire staff was welcoming, informative and very caring. This was by far my best dental experience and I would be glad to return. Thank you for everything!

This group was recommended to my by my local dentist. Although I had never had the procedure before I felt very confident in Dr. Schaeffer. She explained every step and what she was doing during the procedure. Her assistant(apologies that I can't recall her name) was also excellent and they worked extremely well together. I would highly recommend them.

Had a root canal done there today, and was very anxious about it. Dr Schaffer was awesome and great! She eased my concerns and anxiety throughout the procedure, and answered my questions. Would 100 percent recommend this place
