Dr. Glenn Yowell is a board-certified dentist who has been providing high-quality dentistry since 1986. Every day, Glenn meets new people and customizes dentistry to match their oral health needs and goals. Known for using humor to put his patients at ease, he describes his practices as, 'a lot of fun, a lot of laughing, and a lot of joking!' As much as patients enjoy his lighthearted nature and the laid back atmosphere of his office, Glenn 's loyal following reflects his outstanding expertise and training.

In his spare time, Glenn enjoys sports, travel, photography, and finds history fascinating. His idea of pure happiness is golfing with his three best friends, and if he could travel anywhere in the world with all expenses paid it would be to Scotland to play a round at St. Andrews Links with one of his golfing heros, Jordan Spieth (are you seeing a theme here?). When Glenn isn't swinging golf clubs, you can catch him hanging out with his dog, taking pictures, researching photography, diving (his latest sport!), and maybe evening enjoying a glass of nice red wine!

Glenn, along with his team of dedicated professionals, is committed to ensuring everyone receives the highest quality care and maximum comfort at each visit. His favorite part about working in Iowa City is the Midwest values that his patients have and that the people are genuinely nice. The best piece of advice he was ever given is one he lives by at his practice and in life 'be honest and always smile.'

The most interesting place Stacy has ever visited was Sturgis, South Dakota during the Annual Motorcycle Rally with her husband and friends; she recently went back with her two sons, when the event was not in session, and was intrigued by how different the town was.

In her spare time, she likes spending time on her family's river boat and enjoying chimichangas (with a marg on the side, of course). Her hero is her mother (aww!) and her idea of pure joy is having health, happiness, and wealth for ALL of her loved ones.

Stacy 's favorite part about working at Iowa City Dental Health is interacting with the practice 's wide range of patients.When asked what her most overused phrase was, she said, 'Good Morning, Dr. Yowell 's office, this is Stacy' (we just love her sense of humor).

Her hobbies include hanging out with family and being her kids ' biggest fan during their extra curricular activities. She says she overuses the phrase, 'I love you' intentionally, so her kids will always remember she told them it often (bringing tears to our eyes over here, Heather!).

Quick fun facts: the best trip Heather ever experienced was one to Washington D.C. where she enjoyed learning about our country's history; her toothbrush is purple (her favorite color); and if she was an ice cream flavor, she'd be something salty and sweet, because that description just sums her up.

Heather 's favorite part about working in Iowa City is the diversity. 'I am fortunate to work in a practice that sees patients from all walks of life from factory workers, to doctors, professors, students, and farmers, we see them all!'

Mary has been with Iowa City Dental Health since 2002 and has over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist. In addition to cleaning teeth, Mary has a passion for educating patients on proper oral hygiene.

When she's not in the office, you can find her spending time with family, enjoying life as a grandmother, volunteering at her church, and reading. Her guilty pleasure is Oreo cookies with milk... serious yum.

Mary's favorite trip was one to the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation in the Southwest United States with her church's youth group. She was so inspired by the trip that one of her bucket list items, along with traveling to London and becoming a hospice volunteer, is to visit other Indian reservations to help provide dental hygiene services.
