Dr. Prez received his DDS from the School of Dentistry at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While studying there, he was also selected by the university faculty to receive the Teledyne Hanau Prosthodontics Award for demonstrating outstanding knowledge and skills in the study and practice of prosthodontics. Dr. Prez continued his studies in Prosthodontics at the Medical College School of Dentistry in Augusta, Georgia in 1995. After his specialty training, Dr. Prez joined the U.S. Navy Dental Corps in San Diego. There, he served as staff prosthodontist and director of the Removable Prosthodontics Division at the Naval Dental Center, the largest Naval dental facility in the world.
In addition to designing and supervising clinical courses for dental officers, he also trained Advanced Clinical Dentistry and Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents there until1998, when he entered private practice. Dr. Prez is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), the Academy of Osseointegration, and also belongs to several local study clubs.
Outside of the office, he enjoys cycling, golfing, traveling with his family, and playing other sports. Dr. Prez was selected as one of the Best Dentists in Dallas in the December 2005 issue (an exclusive peer-based survey that reveals the top 142 dentists in eight specialties).
He was also selected as Super Dentist in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2006 & 2005 and December 2010 issues of Texas Monthly Magazine and had his portrait on the cover of The Doctor Of Dentistry Magazine in October of 2004.
Dr. Kim Ly Nguyen graduated from St. Marys University in San Antonio, TX with a Bachelor of Arts degree in combined sciences. She then pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist and obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio, TX.
After completing her studies a, Dr. Nguyen came back to Dallas to begin practicing dentistry. She is skilled in various procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, veneers, and root canal therapy. She also enjoys providing dental care for children. Dr. Nguyen is known for being very thorough and gentle with her patients. She believes in delivering high quality dental care to all her patients, and strives to be a part of their journey to happy and healthy smiles!
Dr. Nguyen attended The University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Human Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Nguyen chose to study dentistry because of his own experiences growing up and those experiences continue to drive his passion for dentistry today. He likes practicing orthodontics because he can make a huge impact on someones life and enjoys seeing his patients progression of improved self-esteem.
Dr. Nguyen also leads the way for his younger brother who is also studying dentistry. Dr. Nguyen is also prideful of his dog Luna, The cutest chow chow you will ever meet. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. You will also find Dr. Nguyen cheering on the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys.

Orthodontics:Less visible and more effective brackets and wires are making straightening teeth with orthodontics much more appealing to adult patients. Also, in some cases, teeth may be straightened with custom-made, clear, removable aligners that require no braces.
