Dr. William W. Roberts III is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in the years 1972 (B.A.), 1976 (D.M.D.), and 1978 (Certificate in Orthodontics). He is American Board of Orthodontics Certified (1993) and former Associate Professor of Orthodontics at Temple University. Dr. Roberts has practiced orthodontics in the Medical Arts Building in Center City Philadelphia and in Lawrenceville NJ for over 30 years.
Dr. Tanja J. de Marsche is a graduate of Georgetown University (1976), the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (1979) and University of Pennsylvania (1981 Certificate in Orthodontics). She is American Board of Orthodontics Certified (1995). She also is a former President of the Mercer Dental Society and Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at Temple University.
The designation Top 1% is awarded to the top 1% producing Invisalign providers in North America. It applies to those providers who complete 800 Invisalign patient treatments and who treat over 200 new Invisalign patients per year. Drs. Roberts & de Marsche, the doctors at Philadelphia Orthodontists, are presently the only Invisalign Elite Top 1% providers in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Orthodontists has used the Invisalign technique since it became available to orthodontic practitioners in the year 2000. In its infancy, Invisalign was not as powerful a technique as it is presently. The changes have resulted from improvements in technology, an improved understanding of how the appliances move the teeth, and improvements in the quality and properties of the aligner trays.

My experience with Roberts and DeMarsche has been exceptional. I was skeptical about what my results would be but I was and continue to be blown away. I haven't smiled so much in my entire life. Dr. Roberts is nothing short of a orthodontic genius! He and his staff are friendly and personable. My son is also a patient. I highly recommend this practice

I came in to get braces to get my gaps filled in on the top and bottom of my teeth. I saw Dr. Roberts throughout my treatment and his plan for my teeth was straightforward and he made sure I had the end result I wanted. My regular dentist also complimented my permanent retainer placement and told me nothing had changed with my teeth since I had braces put on. Highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Dr. Roberts for any orthodontics needs. He took care of my misaligned teeth in no time. I am super happy with my results. He also has my 11 year old son as a patient. Dr. Roberts is kind, caring and funny. His staff are professional and are all super friendly. The office of Roberts & de Marshe provides excellent care and service. The office is clean and extremely well managed, and the staff are friendly and professional. I was originally a patient of Dr. Roberts in my early twenties when I wanted to obtain my dream smile. I was provided with braces. The care and attention I received at the office was exceptional. I have always felt that my best interest and needs were taken into consideration. After braces, I felt incredibly confident in my smile and I truly felt I achieved the goals I wanted. Fast forward, after 10 years, and some wear and tear, I came back to the office of Roberts & de Marshe for minor corrections. I was welcomed back with open arms. I am again extremely satisfied with my results. I highly recommend the office of Roberts & de Marshe!
