I have had a root canal and fillings recently and the dentist here make you feel comfortable and they talk you through what exactly they're doing and afterwards there was no pain just a little discomfort that you would expect from these procedures.

If I can give zero I will do, most of the five stars review are fake, They always misdiagnosis poeple, I have been waiting for more than 55 minutes pass my appointment time and they let another new patient to go before me, they are totally unorganized and dishonest, I heard that from other people too, this place is all about money I should listened to them, very bad customer service. Avoid.

Misdiagnosed my son as having 5 or 6 cavities when in fact it was only one, my first deep cleaning was incredibly painful and I've been getting those for years, the numbing cream was not even allowed one second before shooting my mouth up and couldn't get a good x-ray of my daughter right side in which they stated the wrong tooth was the cavity. I won't go back

I made an appointment and took a day off work to see the dentist. After my exam I was told by the Dentist I need a filling, a deep cleaning and a new crown, however I need a approval 1st from my insurance company to do the filing and cleaning and was given a referral to see another dentist to repair my crown. I was also told they would call me after the approval to make an appointment on another day. I went down the street to "1st Choice Dental" as a walk in and was seen almost immediately. After that exam I was showed my images and I didn't need a filling or a deep cleaning and my crown was ok. I received a check up, a regular cleaning and left. I'm shocked that I misdiagnosed and told I needed something that I didn't. I will never come back here again.

Dr. Akhras is an absolutely amazing dentist and much better human being. He genuinely cares for his patients and provides them with the highest quality of treatment. I highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr.akhras is one of the best dentists you can have, his passion for dentistry and doing good by his patients is beyond imagination. I'm glad I have crossed paths with him, definitely recommend him

Horrible. They ruined my life. They covered cavities with filling without removing the cavities! When I went to another dentist they told me I should sue them. The cavities ate so deep into the molars so now I have to go to an oral surgeon. Also Dr. A is the most evil man. This place is a nightmare. Should be made into a horror film.

I see the office is continually responding there is no record of a patient with this name. However, these reviews are entered with Google accounts which may not list someone's legal name or the patient's name if a parent is writing the review. Please keep that in mind. This is regarding my child's ortho treatment with Dr. Noor Obaisi. Firstly, Dr. Obaisi had a horribly rude demeanor with us. She was very cold and condescending. She would speak to us with her back turned and on more than one occasion walked away while I was speaking. I was uncomfortable with her treatment plan for my child but, financially, my hands were tied. Parents! Please, seek a 2nd and even 3rd opinion if you aren't sure your current Dr's treatment is what's best for you or your child. If you can afford to, please seek another doctor's opinion. Just because someone is a doctor doesn't mean they are an expert or have all the answers or know what's best. This unkind, unsmiling human made an error which is costing me thousands to repair. The general dentist was kind enough to answer my questions when Dr. Obaisi was unable to do so. She would repeat herself and then get an attitude when we didn't understand something. So, we'd say ok thank you and ask the general dentist to explain things we didn't understand. I stopped treatment for my child so we could fix the issue elsewhere. Dealing with Dr. Obaisi was a nightmare. My child hated having appointments with her. The oral surgeon my child saw had to contact Dr. Obaisi twice regarding my child's treatment and both times was not thrilled with her tone. He wished me luck with her. We didn't have any with her. She is an awful orthodontist. I'm sorry we continued trearment with her for so long. Huge mistake on my part. In response to the office: *OUR EXPERIENCE WITH DR OBAISI WAS A NEGATIVE ONE. SHE WAS RUDE AND UNINFORMATIVE TO US. SHE WAS DISMISSIVE AND MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WITH MY CHILD'S CARE - A MISTAKE I AM PAYING TO CORRECT. **Appointments were cancelled and rescheduled in a timely manner Appointments were also NOT SCHEDULED due to Dr Obaisi stating twice my child "required" a procedure he did not before continuing care. ***Scheduling this treatment took time because, on the list of providers handed to us by your office, ALL BUT ONE DID NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE "REQUIRED". The ONE that did took months to respond. We had to then seek a different provider for this "required" procedure. ****My child and I discussed leaving your practice after Dr Obaisi took over for the last orthodontist, before this "necessary" procedure, and after. Appointments were also delayed while we consulted other orthodontists...one of which is fixing "nature". *****That's lovely she teaches at UIC. Perhaps she can take a few refreshers regarding bedside manner. There was only one time she was pleasant...when I mentioned the first mistake she made. That stopped her from talking at us with her back turned. Her tone changed...for the better. After the second mistake, we left. Again, not every Dr is a good one. This is the reason patients seek a 2nd+ opinion or change doctors. Glad we did. Of course you can't give out private health information regarding your patients. Bless your heart.

The one star for the service is for the first cleaning appointment. Otherwise it is no stars because of the way they treat anyone who have the freedom to choose if they want an x-ray in a cleaning appointment. The doctor tried to convince me that the x-ray radiation is good for me which is very ridiculous. After I refused the x-ray for that appointment, they sent me mail saying they didn't want me in clinic-- which was my choice not to be there anyway.

Dr. Akhras really is exceptional. I had a very bad toothache one evening and he helped get me in before closing. He stayed over an hour after closing to help relieve me of my pain. Never have I had a dentist do that for me. I knew the minute I started coming here over 2 years now, I made the right decision to switch from my old dentist. Dr. Akhras is the most caring and helpful dentist in the area. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient at this office for over three years. The kindness and professionalism shown by Dr. Noor Nahhas and her staff is incomparable. Dr. Nahas worked on my root canal and talked me through the whole process. It was pain free and quick. I was so nervous that it would hurt and she put me at ease every step of the way. It's so rare to find a office that sees you within five to ten mins of appointment and giving you the highest quality care all in one location. I'm always seen within ten minutes of entering the office. I'm so happy my friend referred me here.

Dr A and staff are amazing and very patient...very clean office ..We were seen on time and Dr took his time explaining everything for us too have a good understanding...I will be back
