Integrative Holistic Dentistry strives to provide quality dental care while defining new standards for care. We will provide comprehensive dental care to all patients through in-depth patient oral hygiene education, detailed oral diagnosis, extensive treatment options, and informed consent, all in a relaxing and caring environment.
Gina was born and raised in Graham, North Carolina. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Alamance Community College in 2013. While a dedicated dental assistant, she is also a valued member of our front desk team as our Insurance Coordinator.
Gina enjoys interacting with patients in the front and the back, especially children. With over five years experience in childcare before becoming a dental assistant, she wants to help make you and your childs visit a positive experience. In her free time Gina enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her niece Adalynn.
Jesica joined our team in 2015. She loves helping others and strives to make each patient feel comfortable and cared for with her welcoming personality. She graduated from Alamance Community College with a Degree in Dental Assisting and Brigham Young University with a Degree in Public Health. She grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and currently lives in Mebane with her husband and five kids. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
Jenny was raised in Greensboro NC where she graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2006 with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She loves to interact with all of her patients by providing a comprehensive approach to their dental experience.
Jenny lives in Haw River with her husband Michael, daughter Hadley, and their two lovable labradors Enzo and Mickey. She enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends and is an avid runner.
Wanda is from Reidsville, NC and move to Durham in 2004. She attended Wake Technical Community College Dental Assisting program and has been in the dental field since 2007. Wanda is known for her sweet spirit as patients love her. In her spare time Wanda loves spending time with her husband Anthony, family and friends and working in her home church as well as giving back and paying it forward in the community.
She is also a animal lover in hopes to add another dog to her family at some point again! Wanda's favorite part of her job is the relationships she has built with so many of our patients. Wanda looks forward to making patients feel right at home as well as helping them through their fears to know we care!
The son of immigrants from Ghana, Dr. Mensah has lived throughout the United States, but has spent the majority of his life in North Carolina. As the middle son of four children, he realized very early that focusing on his studies and doing well in school would be the easiest way for him to stay in good graces with his parents.
Dr. Mensah attended high school at A.C. Reynolds in Asheville, North Carolina prior to attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both his bachelors and dental degree. The training he received served as the foundation for him to be the excellent comprehensive dentist he is today.
Since graduation Dr. Mensah has accumulated over eight years of private practice experience and hundreds of hours of continuing education. This added training puts him in the category of comprehensive dentistry versus just general dentistry. In addition to performing the normal everyday procedures of dentistry he also treats obstructive sleep apnea, implantology, and simple orthodontic cases; all utilizing the most cutting edge technology in dentistry.
Although he knows he has made a huge commitment providing the best possible care to his patient base; he knows that none of this would be possible without a supportive family. Dr. Mensah is a devout follower of Jesus Christ, husband, and father. Most of his free time is spent with them; enjoying the grace of everyday life.

Wonderful office and staff. My son said he had the best time at the dentist! Also, the staff is compassionate and knowledgeable about servicing kids with special needs. I love the non-toxic solutions they offer for all ages.

My experience was excellent - My appointment included: full exam, X-rays and a cleaning. Everyone was prepared for the visit therefore time management was very good. However, what stood out the most, beyond a noticable high level of professional technique, was how much I was included l in the overall experience. This was accomplished through questions and conversation -This resulted in my anxiety level dropping exponentialy- I will return - great group of high level professionals

Dr. Mensah and the friendly staff at IHD took excellent care of me when I needed a molar removed. As a general rule, I don't trust any health care practitioners, be they doctors, dentists or psychologists because the pharmaceutical industry has gained far too much influence over the curriculum at Universities. A traditional dentist I spoke to from another practice scoffed at my concerns about the long-term health implications of having a root canal and assured me that they are safe because she had two herself. This is exactly the kind of hubris being churned out by Universities that turns me right off - most dentists do not question what they were taught in dental school and don't understand the significant connection between our oral health and systemic illness because that isn't part of the curriculum at Uni. When I saw a copy of "The Toxic Tooth" on the waiting room coffee table at Dr. Mensah's office, I knew I was in the right place. My molar extraction, for which I was awake, was completely painless throughout the procedure, and I had virtually no swelling after. It cost me more than I wanted to pay, but you can't put a price tag on good health. I consider it a worthy investment in myself.

This is by far the best dentist office I've ever been to! All of the staff members are absolutely wonderful! Gina is so sweet and her communication with patients is superior to any other medical practice I've encountered! Dr. Mensah is incredibly patient and answered every question I had! He really takes his time getting to know his patients, and doesn't treat them like "just another number." He offers far better treatment options than traditional dentist offices. This office is kid friendly- they are all fantastic with children! I'm so glad I found this place!

So far, I am finding dr mensah and his whole practice just fanstastic. I have had to have an infected tooth pulled and the whole experience has been as great as a challenge like this could possibly be. The care and the extra steps for my overall health are just fantastic! I highly recommend.

Feel like I have found a hidden gem. I love how easy it is to communicate with the office, I love Jenny the hygienist, and I really trust Dr. Mensah with my teeth. I know I am not getting extra chemicals and exposure but still great care.

I've had some bad luck with dentists and was hesitant to try a new one. I'm so glad I visited Dr. Mensah! He is by far the best dentist I've ever seen. Not only is he thorough and very knowledgeable, he's actually friendly and personable. Truly a rare find for a dentist! He doesn't mind answering my questions and explains things in a way that really makes sense. He's a skilled dentist too. All of his team are very friendly and helpful. Wanda is so thoughtful, always looking to make my experience there a good one. I am grateful to have found such an outstanding dentist and am recommending Dr. Mensah to family and friends.

We absolutely love this clinic. Dr. Mensah is great at what he does. He is excellent with kids - all three of my kids are patients there and he has repaired many cavities all while keeping the kids calm and comfortable. My kids love going to the dentist thanks to him and his wonderful team. They also offer sedation for kids who are a little hesitant. I am so glad I can take my kids to the local holistic dentist instead of the pediatric dentist where no one knows us and we feel like just another number in their system. Everyone in the office is so friendly and makes us feel right at home. So glad we have found our family dentist where we can continue to go to for check ups to keep our teeth clean and healthy.

Dr. Mensah and his entire team felt like family the moment I walked through their door. The environment and tone in their office is one of happiness, comfort, warmth, and welcoming. They go above and beyond making you feel incredibly comfortable, giving you all the information you need and ask for, and are very thorough and concise in explaining everything they are doing. There is no rushing there-they take their time to be attentive, caring, and considerate throughout every step of the process. They are very quick to respond to any and all questions, extremely timely, and have made me felt part of the team throughout my entire time being there. Every single person I've interacted with there has a smile on their face, enjoys a good laugh, and engages in great conversation. They are above all my absolute favorite dentist practice and one of my favorite medical practices I have ever been to. Though I will soon be states away, I will return for any dental care needs I have in the future. They are that worth it! I am extremely grateful for all their care and professionalism.
