Dr. Brookover helped me to walk again! I had been extremely ill, bedridden for 5 years with a virus that affected my nervous system. Over 30 doctors were unable to help me. I had also gone to two dentists who said my teeth were fine and were not affecting my health. Over the previous years I had 10 root canals due to a childhood accident and aging. Dr. Brookover knew my root canal teeth were infected and were preventing my overloaded immune system from tackling the virus. Three months after having my infected teeth removed my health was regained! Thank you Dr. Brookover for giving me my life back!

The dental hygienists are good, but I can't say much about the actual dentist, as he was only there about half the time I went in. I've cancelled appointments ahead of time so there'd be no charge, but they billed my insurance anyway as if I showed up (which, I'm pretty sure is insurance fraud), and their front office is absolutely incompetent. We recently moved, and have tried to get the dental records sent to a new office out of state, and despite calling them and emailing them multiple times (both me and my new dentist's office), and over the course of pushing three months, still can't get the records sent over correctly. I would strongly recommend staying away, as while the dentistry itself is acceptable, the headache of dealing with their front office is in no way, shape, or form worth your time and the headaches that ensue...

Total Rip-Off !!!I had to have extensive dental work after a car accident, he agreed to perform surgery by removing three broken teeth and replacing them with implants for $14,000. He broke a piece of each tooth when he pulled root of my broken tooth on my left molar. He insisted that I immediately get a loan for $12,000 with Care Credit because he stated that the insurance takes too long to process. He said when Blue Cross Blue Shield pays the claim that he would refund me my money. He billed Blue Cross for over $24,500 and he only replaced two of the three teeth. He never gave me back my $12,000 and now he will not speak to me so two teeth cost me and Blue Cross Blue Shield over $36,500 and I still am missing a tooth.

I brought my girlfriend here to have a wisdom tooth removed. I had mine removed somewhere else some years ago and was prepared for the worst; it was a few days before I could take solid food, open my mouth, or even talk because of the pain. However, my girlfriend had none of that! They made an appointment for that every week, didn't make us wait once we were there, and were really great. Then, somehow, she had very little pain and didn't even need ibuprofen. She was eating solid food the very next day and probably could have after the surgery, but I'd made soup. She was very impressed by their professionalism, communication, and pleasantness. I didn't know having a wisdom tooth removed could be anything but terrible, but this office made it great. We visited both the Santa Fe and the Los Alamos locations and both were wonderful.

At age 80 I've had experiences with a lifetime of dentists in different parts of the country, and my experience with Dr. Brookover tops them all. His approach to dentistry is about my overall health, not just my teeth. And he has corrected problems that previous dentists just ignored for years. In my case, I had three quite inflamed molars towards the back of my mouth, with deep pockets an serious inflammation. None of them were needed for chewing. But superficially, they seemed asymptomatic, with no pain. Dr. Brookover advised removing all three because the were a threat to my overall health, their festering bacterial inflammation getting into my bloodstream steadily, which can increase risks for heart disease or a stroke, among other things. I agreed, and the extractions were remarkably painless due to his use of stem cells and collagen in the healing process. I actually feel younger with the teeth gone, and my doctor is very pleased to find in my lab tests that inflammatory markers, like homocysteine have gone down. In our first meeting Dr. Brookover told me that removing those teeth was "a no-brainer." And I know my brain is happier now without all that inflammation.

Excellent! Amazing, friendly and knowledgable staff. Dr. Brookover replaced five old front-facing composites that were making me self-conscious, because they were in such deep need of repair. Not only did he discover and fix lurking cavities, he brought my smile back, beautifully -- with holistically-approved non-toxic materials and a numbing agent with a short half-life. The day prior, Karen's cleaning and scaling was the best I've ever had. So happy to find a dentist in the area that does such stellar work. My new go-to for dentistry!

I had all my BPA plastic and Mercury fillings replaced with Dr Brookover, DDS, this past June. It was the best "major" dental experience I have ever had. I was mentally, emotionally and physically pain and stress free the entire time. The results of being BPA and Mercury free have been amazing in reducing inflammation in my whole body. I highly recommend this dentist!

Pros:I had two of my wisdom teeth extracted and the procedure went perfectly.Dr.Brookover used stem cells-from my blood-as a matrix for new tissue growth.I had hardly any pain in the following days and was back to eating regularly the day after. Ordinarily I heal slowly, so I was amazed by how quickly my gums healed up.Dr.Brookover also took time out of his schedule to talk to me about the process, when I got nervous in the preceding days and stopped by without an appointment. Additionally, his staff are very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Cons:Serious disorganization problem.Notes taken on the computer during my visit were not saved..twice.I had to re-do an x-ray panel because it also didn't get saved.I felt like I was always telling people what procedures I was supposed to have because the paperwork was such a mess. In conclusion:Skilled doctor and staff..however they need to get much, much, better at organizing patient and billing data.As well as communicating with each other and their patients. I will continue to use Dr. Brookover as my primary dental practitioner.
