Dr. Kelly Betts is a General Dentist with experience in a wide-range of comprehensive dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, tongue-tie/lip-tie, sports dentistry and more. Dr. Betts worked as a dental assistant and hygienist for almost 10 years before becoming a dentist, which has allowed her to develop a very unique perspective and approach to dental care.
Dr. Betts earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She furthered her education by completing her Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Towson University, while working as a research clinician and study coordinator at the National Institutes of Health/National Institute for Dental and Craniofacial Research. Dr. Betts then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and finished her General Practice Residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center Dental Service in Washington, DC.
Dr. Betts is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Academy for Sports Dentistry. She has completed the prestigious mini-orthodontic residency in clear aligner therapy with Dr. Sandra Tai and she is a certified Invisalign provider and certified in Botox treatment. Dr. Betts participates in multiple local study clubs and esteemed dental education continuums including Spear, Pankey, Dawson, Implant Pathways, and more. She is always striving to obtain the best knowledge and skills available to serve her patients and collaborate with her colleagues.
When it comes to serving patients with airway, tongue-tie or lip-tie concerns, Dr. Betts has been trained by The Breathe Institute (TBI) under Dr. Soroush Zaghi, as well as other programs, and serves as a TBI Ambassador working in collaboration with a multispecialty team to provide a functional approach to breathing and wellness. Working together with both local and national teams to serve patients with anything from sleep disordered breathing, difficulties with breastfeeding, TMJ/TMD, speech or other functions and more has been a true passion for Dr. Betts and her collaborative team.
Dr. Betts also serves part time as Clinical Faculty for the University of Maryland School of Dentistrys Special Care & Geriatrics Clinic, specializing in providing comprehensive dental care for patients with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities.
When shes not in the office, Dr. Betts enjoys sports and fitness, music, theatre, and home and garden projects. She enjoys cooking and feeding anyone and everyone; a skill and passion which she attributes to her mother. She lives in downtown Baltimore with her husband, Matt and their two rescue dogs, Gary & Gladys.
Dr. Michael Hsu strongly believes that all patients should be treated the way he would want to be treated. Accordingly, he holds himself and his team to the highest standards of dental care and provides exceptional and comprehensive dentistry with a gentle demeanor, kindness and a delightful sense of humor.
Dr. Hsu is a board-certified prosthodontist, a dentist specializing in the treatment of complex dental and facial problems, including the restoration and replacement of missing or damaged teeth. A Maryland native, Dr. Hsu graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Classical Mythology. He then received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD), completing an additional Periodontics Clerkship in his final year where he studied and performed limited periodontal surgeries. He continued his training at UMSOD with a three year residency in Advanced Specialty Education Prosthodontics, whereupon he completed the American Board of Prosthodontics certification process.
Dr. Hsu is a published author. He is the recipient of the American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation Research Fellowship for the study of Dynamic Virtual Articulation: Precision and Trueness which examined the accuracy and reliability of computerized dental occlusion. He intends to utilize digital tools as a clinician to usher in a new era of prosthodontics and dentistry.
Throughout his education and career, Dr. Hsu has been nominated for, and received, many honors, certificates, and recognitions for his outstanding work and commitment to excellence. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Hsu married his wife Grace in Taipei, Taiwan following dental school. Together they enjoy volleyball, camping, and board games. They are active members of their church in Elkridge, MD. He also enjoys many other hobbies at home, including raising guppies!

Was extremely pleased with the service. From the first impression as I walked thru the door until the last impression as I left, I was impressed with the way the entire staff treated me. Am not happy going to the dentist but was made to feel at ease and that my welfare and concerns were of the utmost impimportance to everyone there. Would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

So impressed with this practice! State of the art equipment but most importantly, Dr. Betts and her staff were so friendly, professional, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I could tell they actually CARE about their patients as individuals.

They weregentle and kind. Everyone I dealt with took the time to introduce themselves and explain what they were doing. They took care to make it as painless as possible. I have a lot of work to be done and I am actually looking forward to returning. That is exceptional in my experience.

The office staff were all wonderful and welcoming, as was Dr. Michael Hsu. Dr. Hsu literally performed a miracle with my denture that was an uncomfortable mess. I am certain once he is finished with my mouth, I will feel like my old self again. Stay tuned!!

Integrative Dental Wellness is truly an amazing office. The staff does everything they can to make sure your experience is all you could want for a doctors appointment from your very first phone call. I had fillings and a cleaning today with Dr. Hsu their prosthodontist and I didn't even feel the needle! I have the worst anxiety and the whole office made me feel at ease from the whole decor (doesn't look like a stuffy dental office) to my appointment from start to finish. You can tell the care that they put into what they do. I can't say enough positive things!

As a person who has avoided the dentist in the past due to anxiety and previous poor experiences - I could not speak more highly of my experience with Dr. Betts. Dr. Betts went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable after I voiced my anxieties at the beginning of my appointment. By the end of the appointment (two fillings, one very large) I was completely at ease. Her personality, and the kindness of her staff really makes you feel at home and like you are their top priority, a human being not just a set of teeth. She was very attentive during the fillings to ensure that I wasn't in any pain, to give me breaks if I needed them, all while performing top notch work. It's so important to find medical professionals that are not only qualified and good at what they do, but that are enjoyable to see and work with. Dr. Betts has done that for me and my family and I will continue to see her as long as she is in practice.

This place is THE BEST! Dr. Betts completely cured my TMJ and is so knowledgeable. And she is AMAZING with kids. They actually had fun! My 7 year old said she will only go to Dr. Betts from now on. The staff is wonderful and facility is spa-like. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I couldn't be happier with my first visit to Dr. Betts! She made the whole process very comfortable by explaining the procedures and what to expect while she was performing them. Her space is very clean and state of the art and she and her staff are super friendly. Dr. Betts has a true heart for helping people as she has a giving program that donates directly to Helping Up Mission in Baltimore City. Would highly recommend for your dentistry needs!

Dr.Betts is hands-down the best dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. She is an exceptional diagnostician, and actively works with other healthcare providers to ensure you get the best possible outcome. She truly is integrative, and you feel like you are first and foremost in her line of thinking, even if it means referring you to someplace else because she thinks that is what is best for you. This integrative practice is a much overdue breath of fresh air in the world of dentistry.
