Welcome to Swiss Biologic Dentistry! If youre new here, I look forward to getting to know you; and, Im sure you want to get to know me better too. And if youre a regular, you can also get to know me better! I grew up in Tucson, where I ended up attending the University of Arizona (Bear down!). After college, I received my doctorate in dentistry in 2011 from the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution and top 10 dental school in the world (go Quakers!). A decade in dentistry; where did the time go!
While I was taught traditional dentistry from some of the best in the country, I felt something was missing from the bigger picture of oral health. And thankfully six years ago, I was offered the associate job at Integrative Dental Associates, one of Phoenixs best biological dental practices. It was here that the final pieces fell into place and the light bulb went off: True oral health requires looking at the body as a whole!
To more thoroughly understand whole body dental health, I am constantly expanding my knowledge and skill-set through continuing education courses and clinics. Ive worked at the SDS clinics in Switzerland and Costa Rica, and other top clinics in Mexico, New Orleans, Miami, Chicago, to name just a few. I will go anywhere in the world that helps me help you because the learning journey never ends!
When I can get away from the office, I like to travel to places afar. Ive been lucky enough to travel from the Galapagos Islands to the Arctic Circle, and even to my familys ancestral hometown of Neuchatel, Switzerland. In my free time at home, I enjoy hiking, yoga, oil painting, and taking care of my sons Raphael, Roland, and my three dogs.
Hello, I am Dr. Whiting. I grew up in Arizona where I attended and completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at ASU Engineering college and Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. I have been practicing for almost over 7 years and have enjoyed every bit of it!
I was initially encouraged to pursue dentistry by my orthodontist and I believe she gave me the best advice I've ever received. 7 short years later, I graduated dental school. My focus and interest have always been health and beauty and in dentistry I am thankful I get to help my patients with both. While Im new to biological dentistry, my core values have always been in sync with biological dentistrys core principals. Health is complex, and I have made it a priority to understand the puzzle so I can make my patients health picture clear to them.
I love growing and learning so I tend to travel to a lot of dental classes and conferences around the country, read journals and listen to dental webinars. When I'm not practicing dentistry, I love spending my time with my family, travelling, reading, watching movies and trying out new recipes. I make a mean bowl of ramen, at least thats what my children say!
Hello! My name is Katie and I was born and raised in South Dakota. Following my graduation from the University of South Dakota, my husband and I moved to Scottsdale to pursue career opportunities. We thought our move was temporary but we quickly fell in love with Arizona and never looked back! I love the field of dentistry and all it has to offer. Before working at Swiss Biologic I taught didactic and clinical courses in dental hygiene at a local college. Although I did love teaching, Swiss Biologic Dentistry is my home! I couldn't be happier to be working at a place that encompasses all of my passions in one place; health, whole body wellness, nutrition and dentistry! Other passions of mine include spending time with my husband & daughter Penelope, traveling, cooking, snow skiing and game nights with friends! I hope to see you in our office soon!
Hi, my name is Taylor! I am born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I have always thought teeth were cool but it wasnt until I had my braces removed that I started to realize how cool they were and why oral health is so important. Oral health is tied to systemic health and I love that I get to help make a difference in a way thats under estimated by the general public. I have been practicing dentistry for just shy of ten years and I am constantly learning new things. I genuinely love what I do and how it can help people physically, mentally and emotionally. When I am not working, youll find me in high altitudes with my dog, Piper. We love to be outside and our passion is exploring new hiking or kayaking trails any opportunity we get!

I developed an interest in Biological dentistry after working in traditional dentistry and am blessed to now be a part of the Swiss Biologic Dentistry team. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, cooking, and spending time with my husband and family.
Hey there! My name is Yanitza (Yani for short), and I was born in Glendale, Arizona but was raised in Mexico and Denver. I have been assisting in dental offices for over 3 years. I moved on from corporate to join Swiss Biological Dentistry so I could learn a new way of dentistry which solves the root cause of problems, rather than just treating the symptoms. It is a very exciting and interesting journey and Im looking forward to this new adventure! When I am not at work, I am at home spending time with my baby and family, I also enjoy traveling, being outdoors, watching movies and having family game nights! So far, Im undefeated against the baby; well see how long that lasts.

I have been in Management for 35 years and happened to take a job in the dental field and never looked back. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Amelia years ago and when the opportunity presented itself to work with her again, I jumped at it. So, blessed to be surrounded by such professional, dedicated and caring individuals. When not at work, I enjoy time with my Partner, Sue and our 4 dogs (Harper, Jasper, Izzy and Pebble). D-backs, Cardinals and my pool.
I was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, raised in Kansas, went to college in Chicago, and finally moved to Arizona for law school and grad school. I have been an attorney for fifteen years and have enjoyed what practicing law has brought me, but the opportunity to help Dr. Amelia run her own practice was an opportunity I could not pass up. I am excited to work on Dr. Amelia's mission to bring the best biologic dentistry to the Valley and to help as many people as we can. Better Health Through Better Dentistry means something to us and we can't wait to show you.
Starting out in the therapy dog business was a difficult choice for me. I had a pretty good life of chasing balls, chasing the same balls again, and taking lots of naps. But, while that life would be rewarding for most dogs, I needed more. I asked Mike, my supervisor, if it would be possible to accompany him to work. He reluctantly agreed to give me a chance. It worked out pretty well. I did have a pretty big barking snafu when someone tried to type in the alarm code, and it still gets me from time to time, but I've learned to center myself and focus on maximizing the patient experience. I feel like it has really worked out since I know all about anxiety. I have learned to deal with my alarm panel anxieties and I have been passing it along to everyone for the past four years. If you see me, feel free to pet me, I've been told I'm a 'good girl', so I've got that going for me! I don't bite, but I may give you a small lick (or a lot of licks). That means I like you!

You may notice when you come into our office that we like plants. Theyre everywhere! We think that plants are critical to your well-being and they are our best way to create that connection to nature. Sure, its an office, but we try to make it more than that. Holistic living means thinking about all the ways our environment and our behaviors affect our health. We cant practice dentistry in a forest, but we can try!
