We have been motivating and providing health in our Mountainside community through Integrative Dental Care since 1979. In 2012, we were joined by Dr. Lisa Wortzel and Dr. Mumta Hathiramani and how have the opportunity to continue enhancing lives for generations to come.

It is no exaggeration that I have spent my whole life in this practice! It has been a true joy to have started as my fathers dental assistant at 15 years old and to continue his legacy of exceptional dental care alongside my best friend and business partner, Dr. Mumta Hathiramani. I was always drawn to dentistry because it not only combined science and art, but it would be my daily job to help people smile proudly! To ensure that I could provide beautiful and predictable results that would last a lifetime, I continued my education and completed the elite Dawson Academy program which specializes in elegantly treating complex dental cases.

When I am not in my scrubs, I love being with my husband Nick, son Jack, as well as the rest of my family and friends. You can always find our home filled with music from our vinyl record collection (predominantly Paul Simon and The Grateful Dead) as well as the aroma of something Italian cooking on our stove. As a true early bird, I start each morning with a run or yoga and believe that a piece of chocolate is a necessary way to end every day!

At its core, dentistry blends art, science, and compassion. I am thrilled that together with my partner, Dr. Lisa Wortzel, and our team, we truly integrate these tenets into each and every patients experience. My life-long talent in art laid the foundation for my career in dentistry and today, I combine this passion with the rigorous training from the prestigious Dawson Academy for full mouth complete care. It is an honor to provide aesthetic smiles and stable comprehensive treatment patients deserve. Nothing is more satisfying than having my highly skilled team to help me deliver optimal care and change a persons quality of life.

My partner, Cedric, and I enjoy our time at home with our three cats, Meesa, Mosley and Maioki. Relaxing to me is painting, drawing, reading and being in nature. Cedric and I love traveling and will fly to just about anywhere. We make sure that a risky hike, outdoor adventure activities and good food are the focus points of all our travels!

For more than 30 years, Donna has overseen the smooth flow of our office on a daily basis and makes sure that each and every patient receives the highest level of care possible. She helps our patients to understand all their treatment recommendations and assists them in making the most appropriate choices for their dental health. As a hygienist, Donna also helps patients achieve and maintain a high level of oral health. She enjoys developing long-term relationships with all ofour patients and their families.

Donna has two daughters: Lisa, who is a doctor at our practice, and Arielle, who is majoring in environmental studies at Rutgers. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga, vegetarian cooking, and spending time with her family.

Lori has more than 20 years of experience in the field of dentistry. She provides periodontal monitoring, evaluations, treatments, and procedures in order to treat any periodontal conditions as quickly and efficiently as possible. She finds great satisfaction in helping her patients achieve optimal dental health. Lori is continually working on new projects and programs designed to aid her patients in growth and understanding of their overall health.

Lori has lived in Union County all her life. She is a wife and the mother of two college-agesons. Shefulfills her creative drive by working on various ceramic and sewing projectsas well as nurturing her love of photography and photo editing.

Agnes has been with the Wortzel practice since 2006. She is passionate about her profession and dedicated to the comfort of her patients. Agnes continually incorporates new ways of enhancing every patients treatment experience. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Wortzel is witnessing both the emotional and aesthetic transformation of our patients.

Rhonda has a BS degree from Brooklyn College. She looks forward to combining her communication experience with her excitement for helping our patients achieve their personal health goals. Rhonda takes great joy in getting to know our patients and their families.

Originally from Brooklyn, Rhonda now lives in Mountainside. In her free time, Rhonda enjoys rooting her nephews on at their baseball and basketball games, and playing with her dog, Babe. Rhonda is also an avid Mets fan.
