Dr Assadi has practiced dentistry in the DC area for over 10 years. She is well known and respected within the dental community. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. greater metropolitan area, Dr. Assadi graduated from Hollins University with a B.A. in Studio Art and French. Shortly afterward, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Assadi earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree with honors from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Assadi offers comprehensive, personalized dental care to all her patients. She strives to deliver the best dental care for all her patients by incorporating the philosophy of comprehensive dentistry into practice, helping patients achieve lasting, comfortable smiles by addressing underlying dental problems. Dr. Assadi is a certified Invisalign provider in clear aligner tray therapy and is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botox therapeutics for TMJ and Facial Pain therapy. Dr. Assadi spends her free time with her young family, baking and enjoys all Art forms.
Dr. Jay K. White grew up in Franklin Square, NY, a small town on the south shore of Long Island. He graduated from The State University of New York College at Oswego with a BS in Industrial Arts Education. Dr. White earned a Masters Degree from New York University in Educational Supervision and Administration. His ambition was always to be a dentist, so when the time was right, he pursued the career of his dreams. Dr. White attended Georgetown University Dental School from which he was a Cum Laude graduate. Upon graduation, Dr. White started working in Alexandria, VA with his since retired partner, Dr. Arnold Ostrolenk. Dr. White taught at Georgetown University School of Dentistry until it closed in 1991 and decided to start a solo dental practice in 2004. Dr. White is married to his lovely wife, Sheryl. They reside in Fairfax, VA and have 2 daughters, Nori & Jaclyn.
Dr. White is an avid sports fan who roots for The New York J-E-T-S, The Washington Nationals, The New York Knicks and The New York Islanders. In his retirement, Dr. White still loves playing softball and doing handyman projects around the house. Dr. White is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.

Do you despise the dentist? Well here you can 100% lose that feeling. Dr. Assadi is a self proclaimed dental nerd and it shows! Much more than that, she makes it personal and takes going to the dentist to another level. She explains things in depth and makes you feel comfortable. She goes out of her way to play 90's R&B for me when i come in. She's unmatched in bedside manner and makes you feel like part of the family. Her entire staff is upper echelon as a matter of fact. The moment you walk in the door you're greeted by Mia & Aurora and feel at home. Calvin is spectacular and takes a vested interest in not only your oral health, but you, the person. And of course Candace, who in my experience, likes to toss a little sass at me. Which she knows i find incredibly endearing and inviting. I recommend Dr. Assadi with full confidence that she & her team will go above and beyond to give you that exceptional care you only hear about. It's quite rare I review a doctor or dentist, but it felt like a great disservice to Dr. Assadi & her terrific staff. If you are looking for a dentist, look no further. You've met your match and she is perfect!!!

This is the most amazing dentist ive ever been to. I used to be absolutely terrified of dentists but Dr. Assadi is incredible and the front desk staff is beyond helpful. highly recommend!!!

Dr. Assadi did a fantastic job on my composite fillings! she is very knowledgeable, professional and gave me guidance on what should I get done next. My family has been using this practice for many, many years of teeth cleanings, tooth injuries, grinding, cavities, caps, root canal, COVID protocols... you name it. We were sad when Dr. White retired, but since Dr. Assadi took over the practice, she's upgraded the facility to the most modern equipment and brought in a great new hygienist Calvin who we love. We're excited to know that this practice keeps getting better and will be there for us for many years to come. And the office is very well run. Scheduling, insurance, hygienists, hours, easy free parking -- everything about interacting with them is first rate. They are knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. They take major insurance, and have even given me advice on which insurance options to select.

If you need an amazing dentist and team, you need to see Dr. Assadi at Inspire Dental. The moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. The hygienist is very thorough and gentle during cleaning. Dr. Assadi is very easy to feel comfortable with and very knowledgeable about up to date techniques. I was told I needed two crowns ASAP and she worked me in two days later with my final crowns two weeks later. I'm very impressed with them and actually look forward to my next cleaning!

Dr. Assadi is wonderful and amazing dentist who pays attention and takes care of her patients needs. I recently visited the office to have a crown prep. Dr. Assadi and her staff are amazing. Being that I hadn't been to the dentist office in A while due to bad experiences from previous offices I was hesitant to come. From the start from the front desk through the entire process was easy. It was a great experience. Dr. Assadi is the best dentist I've been to so far and will be recommending anyone else who needs A dentist to her.

Dr. Assadi is absolutely fantastic. I originally found her at her previous location when another dentist said I had 6 cavities that needed to be filled. I regularly visit the dentist every 6 months and never previously had any cavities, so I visited her after many recommended her, to find I only had one cavity. I love and trust Dr. Assadi so much that I researched and asked around for months to find where she was practicing. She is the only dentist I trust to do honest work. I cannot recommend her enough. Her work is not only perfect, but she is fantastic about explaining her work in detail. I cannot speak more highly of Dr. Assadi, her office, and her dental knowledge.

Inspire dental is by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I visited Dr. Assadi for the first time a few months back when I broke a tooth. She was able to see me right away and helped me to save the badly damaged tooth. Dr Assadi is the most knowledgable and profesional dentist I have ever visited. She inspires confidence in her work and is genuinely concerned for your well being. I highly recommend Inspire dental for anyone seeking a dentist or anyone who would like to change doctors.

Hi, my name is Craig, and I'm a dentophobe (this means that I've got a fear of the dentist, to the extent that it causes measurable anxiety (dentophobia)). My wife met Dr. Assadi, loved her, immediately upon returning home asked when I'd last been to a dentist, and after an awkward silence and some dumb looks (and probably some cold sweating), made making a dental appointment an action item. Unfortunately, my phobia meant that I'd been avoiding the dentist - any dentist - for too long, and that meant cavities and drills and scary things, etc. I don't have any recent point of reference against which to measure Inspire, and what originally instilled comfort was that I had been a patient of Dr. Ostrolenk (sp?) and White previously - so familiarity FTW. I probably just aged myself, there. If Dr. Assadi had Dr. White's vote, she had mine, too. I''ll quit rambling and get to the point: Dentistry has come a lonnnng way in the last 10 or 20 years (my dental experiences began in the early 80s). The experiences so far have been amazing at Inspire. Everyone in the office is amazingly, kind, approachable and empathetic. Calvin is calm, gentle and to the point. Dr. Assadi is candid, patient, gentle (yet efficient) and perhaps a sorceress (and apparently has yet to try teriyaki beef jerky, but that's another story). Personally, I also like that she seems to be of my generation (Gen X), and it's comforting to know that there's a probability that she'll be around in 20 years. Somehow, this makes the dentist more relatable and adds to the warm and fuzzy factor. Today I went in for 2 cavities and a deep cleaning, and it was a 99% painless experience. It was actually a nice break from the craziness of work (though, I did send my team a selfie to let them know that, no, I was not actually on an interview). I didn't want to see the needle, hear anything about the needle, know about the needle (another fear!) and I'll admit, I closed my eyes and didn't even feel the needle. Amazing. No pain, and I'm a pretty delicate flower. No pain really even after all of the Novocain has now worn off (I expected to feel like I'd been kicked by a cage fighter or something). Dr. Assadi will tell you what you want to know (in terms that you'll understand!), or not tell you what you don't want to know (like, "okay, here comes the needle!"). I'm still apprehensive of the dentist (I'm dedicated to working on that!), but I have far, far, far less anxiety about my next visit as a result of today. So, overall, it was a positive experience, I'm pleased with the practice, and I will definitely be sticking with Inspire for years to come (oh, and this practice is FINALLY within network of my insurer (Delta Dental)). I've actually plugged Inspire to coworkers - I think one may be a fellow dentophobe!

Just had my initial visit with Dr. Assadi. The cleaning appointment, with full X-rays, unexpectedly took 2 hours, double the usual time. Fortunately, I had nothing else scheduled immediately afterward. I learned that it was the last day for Christina, my longtime wonderful hygienist. The quoted price for 4 fillings seems high, even after both my primary and secondary insurances were applied. I am evaluating how this new practice is going to work out for me.
