Dr. Heap and Dr. Bunker are proud to call Mesa their home. The dentists at our practice are local, homegrown, hometown professionals who strive to make a difference in their community. Both dentists have spent their lives in the area, and are excited to serve the people that theyve grown to love with high quality, compassionate dental care.
Dr. Heap is a native Arizonan, growing up in Mesa. He received his DDS degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry after earning bachelors degrees in biology and medical sciences from Arizona State University and the University of Colorado. With a passion for continual improvement Dr. Heap is a member of many prestigious dental organizations, his favorite being the Crown Council an organization dedicated to providing high-level dental care both here and in under-served areas of the world.
As a firm believer in charitable service, hes provided dental care to under-served communities in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, and Africa. Dr. Heap has also organized food drives for the needy and raised money for orphanages overseas.
Dr. Heap has many hobbies and interests. He is a motivational speaker and recently became a best-selling author with his motivational book The 3-Week Miracle. Dr. Heap is also a sports fanatic who competes in cycling races throughout Arizona. He loves music and plays the mandolin with the Red Mountain Bluegrass Band. Dr. Heap is an amateur photographer and some of his recent pictures can be seen HERE.
Dr. Adam Bunker was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where he graduated from Mountain View High School in 1996. He attended Arizona State University prior to being accepted to Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Following dental school, Dr. Bunker spent 5 years practicing in Clovis, New Mexico. While practicing in Clovis he became credentialed at Presbyterian Hospital where he performed surgeries under IV and General Sedation for the more complex cases involving children and adults. He also directed and organized a school-based program for 6 elementary schools in Clovis to ensure care to all the children in his community. Dr. Bunker loves working with children to ensure they have a positive first experience at the dental office. He was also on staff at the Retirement Ranch providing dental care for seniors.
Dr. Bunker is committed to providing the highest quality dental care while keeping you comfortable and relaxed during treatment. He is passionate about dentistry and genuinely loves his job and his patients. He is meticulous in his care and consistently practices the most effective techniques in dentistry. He is good-natured and enjoys creating long lasting relationships with his patients. You will often find him singing or humming a tune while he works.
When Dr. Bunker is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Carlee and their five kids. He enjoys sports, the outdoors and serving in his church and community. Ask him about beekeeping and youll get an earful!

So I hate going to the dentist. I'm not sure if it was a childhood thing, but I dread going. This dentist office was the most pain free experience I've ever had. They have TVs on the ceiling with soothing pictures that you can look at while you get your cleaning. I'm prone to swollen gums and I usually get lectured about it. This office was understanding and made me feel safe. The hygenist and Dentist made me feel great. As long as I go to this office, I'll be happy to visit. They have great dental tech and all of their employees are understanding and are happy to work around your schedule. 10/10 experience.

Excellent dentist, Dr Heap is super professional and after some other bad experiences (elsewhere) I pleased to have only great things to say about him and Inspire! Its always a pleasure to go to the dentist now

I switched over from another dental office and my experience was a complete 180. I honestly couldn't stop talking with my family about how great my experience was! The staff is kind and it has a very personal touch. I saw Dr. Yates, but I am sure Dr. Heap is equally as good. I highly recommend their office!!

Tiffany is so nice and thorough explaining all the terms and procedures. I haven't had a dentist experience this pleasant before! Dr. Yates is very kind as well and I can see he genuinely cares. They made me feel like family :)

Inspire! Dental is a one-of-a-kind wonderful establishment. From the moment you step inside the office to the moment that you leave, you are made to feel welcome. The staff is humble, personable and informative, always kind as could be. Dr. Heap is a man of integrity and great honor. I have had the pleasure of calling him my Dentist since I was a very young man, 14 years old; now, 15 years later, I say with conviction that he is among the most kind-hearted, genuine, honest, charismatic, and trustworthy individuals I have ever known. A light shines from him truly. If you've met him, you'll know exactly what I mean; if you have not met him, I hope that you have the chance to see it for yourself. I have really bad anxiety about going to the dentist. Everyone at this office cares so much about your experience and they work with you on what triggers your anxiety to make sure you have a great experience. As always, Inspire Dental took great care of my dentistry needs. I always feel I'm in excellent hands with their knowledgeable and super friendly staff. It took me ten years to switch dentists. I would drive for two hours to go see my hometown dentist. My friend encouraged me to make the switch to Dr. Heap, and I'm so glad I did. Both Dr. Heap and Dr. Yates have taken such good care of me and my husband. The hygienists are simply the best I've ever seen too!! I'm always impressed by their friendliness and how much they remember of our conversations from my last visit. Dr. Heap identified my need for a night guard, which has been such a great relief. Dr. Yates recently provided my husband with bonding on his front teeth, and it looks amazing. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else now. I highly recommend their office!

Dr. Heap, Dr. Yates, and his entire staff are incredible! Dr. Heap offers a type of cosmetic orthodontics called Six Month Smiles which has seriously changed my life. I have been looking for a dentist that could help fix my cosmetic crowding for years with no luck, and I was so grateful to come across Dr. Heap. Orthodontics can be outrageous and invasive for adults who never had orthodontic treatments at a young age and I was so thankful for Six Month Smiles. I am no longer embarrassed about my teeth and I don't go to great lengths to hide them, I am so grateful for my new fantastic smile! Dr. Heap's hygienists are all so educated and informative and everyone from the front office to the back makes me feel like I'm part of the Inspire! crew. Everyone is so patient and nice and I refer all of my family and friends to Inspire! Dental. I will never go anywhere else!
