We integrate the latest dental technology in everything we do. From digital patient records and online scheduling, digital x-rays with virtually no radiation, 3D imagery to simplify implant surgeries, oversized HD monitors for treatment planning display, all the way down to a comfort menu to help relieve concerns and stress.
We make our services available to more patients by accepting a wide variety of insurance plans including all traditional PPO plans (we do not accept Medicaid or Medicare plans) and by providing in-house financing through Care Credit.
Our doctor and hygienist may be the stars of Insight Dental, but theyre not our only heroes. Were proud to staff a team of assistants and office personnel dedicated to giving patients at our Marietta dentist office the best possible dental care so their smiles shine from the inside out!
Dr. Sarah Johnson joined Insight Dental in 2019. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. She continued her education at the Medical College of Georgia and received her Degree in Dental Medicine in 2012. Dr. Johnson has taken extensive post-doctoral training in Pediatric and Adult Airway Management.
Dr. Johnson also provides Myobrace, a personalized treatment that prevents crooked teeth from forming. Braces have long been the go-to way to straighten teeth. However, recent research shows that crooked teeth and poor jaw development are not caused by genetic factors. Myobrace is a new, unique solution that actually focuses on solving underlying issues. Compared to traditional braces, Myobrace is less invasive and causes less pain. Its been used by dentists and orthodontists in over 100 countries around the world.
Abbie is passionate about educating her patients and making their experience as comfortable as possible. She graduated from Fortis College located in Marietta with an Applied Science Degree. Abbie has been in dentistry since 2014, first as a dental assistant, now as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA). She currently lives in Downtown Atlanta, and when she is not taking care of her patients she loves spending her free time with friends and family around the city.

I became a patient at Insight Dental after my Dentist retired. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Sheets, Jamie, Gayle, Shay, Chloe, and all of the staff demonstrated competency in there role at the practice. Completed an active treatment plan. It was a positive experience. I will return in three months for exam and cleaning under perio care to help keep my gums healthy. Thanks Insight Dental. Extremely detailed and proficient, great communicators. Paid attention to the smallest details and helped me to understand some things that not only affected my teeth, but my overall health. Going to the dentist is usually not one of my favorite things, but this group made it as enjoyable as going to the dentist can possibly be and I highly recommend.

Everything about my first time experience here was great! From the check in, to X-rays, the exam, and cleaning. The entire staff are professional, super friendly, and so informative every step of the way. I will need some work done and Dr. Johnson did an amazing job explaining everything and even provided real time visuals to make sure I understood the procedure. I'm so so happy I found this place!!

I have seen a few different dentists over the years but finally took my wife's advice and switched to Insight Dental. I went there for the first time today and have to say I was absolutely blown away. The service from all their employees, from the front desk to Dr. Johnson and Abbie, were simply over the top fantastic. All of the staff are enthusiastic and positive and you can tell they love working where they are and doing what they do. The bonus of this place is they have embraced technology to make the process more efficient and less stressful. The cleaning was the most relaxed and painless dental procedure of my life. Abbie was detailed, compassionate and gentle. Look forward to seeing Dr. Johnson and her staff for years to come. Thank you!

I had to go for a deep periodontal cleaning this morning, part I of II. Abbie was wonderful, she made sure it was numbed really good and she cleaned one side, I will go back next week for the completion. Abbie is exceptional and I truly appreciate the fact that my mouth isn't sore. Thank you Abbie.... YOU ROCK!!!!! I LOVE INSIGHT DENTAL!!!!

The lady from Louisiana who did my teeth cleaning it was so professional and hands-down one of the best that ever cleaned my teeth!! No problems at all and they squeezed me in last minute, every other office was booked for months.

I have been going to Insight Dental for over 2 years and have had a variety of dental services, from cleaning to repair to cosmetic. I HIGHLY recommend them. Not only do I trust them with their competent and knowledgeable care, but the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They clearly enjoy what they are doing and working with each other. I travel far to see them and am glad to do so.

I just love these ladies! Right from the start, entering the lobby you are greeted by two smiling faces. Had my cleaning today. Hygienist was very thorough in her cleaning along with her explanation of her procedure. Took her time explaining answers to all my questions. Dr Johnson is just the BEST! I had some additional questions concerning the alignment of my teeth. Dr Johnson went online to show me before and after pictures of adults having a pallet expander. After detailed conversation I decided this was right for me. Dr Johnson had my mouth scanned right then to get my expander made. I'm so excited to finally be able to fix the misalignment using a pallet expander and Invisalign. I look forward to comfortably smiling in my future. I highly recommend this office as they take their time in all their explanations and never have I felt pressured into a procedure

Insight dental visit went perfectly until I called to ask a question about a personal issue. The receptionist, Anita in specific, was very rude and disrespectful to me both times I spoke with her. Even quoted " I'm not trying to be mean " when she knew in fact she was being MAJORLY rude when all I needed was an answer to a question, not a lecture on what to do with my personal choices. As a fairly new business, this needs to be corrected.

Everyone at this clinic is amazing! They are very polite, calm, and welcoming. I would strongly recommend this place for your dental hygiene. Also, their rates are reasonable and make sense.

I've had a ton of dental work done in my life - I've always dreaded the Dentist Office. If this is the case for you, know that Dr. Johnson and her team are wonderful! Dr. Johnson is not only prolific in her practice knowledge but also presents with no pretense or ego (something I've never witnessed in a dentistry). She is confident in her knowledge and conservative in her recommended procedures (I really appreciate this!)Most importantly though, she applauds her team and as a result this team likes being there! They are kind to each other, supportive and communicate well. This positive outlook is contagious to the patients!!!
