At Insight Dental, our mission is to provide Modern Dentistry to North Fargo, and the surrounding areas. Our team does that by believing in our core values; Integrity, Kindness, Teamwork, and Dedication. We have patients who have been with us for over 50 years and we believe they stay because of our family-like atmosphere.
Dr. Lucas Sandman is originally from Dickinson, ND. He obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of North Dakota in 2007 and received his doctoral degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Following his graduation in 2011, he joined Dr. Michael Joyce and Dr. Charles Klemz at Insight Dental. He is passionate about continuing education. This post graduate education is heavily rooted in Spear Education, The Pankey Institute, and Cerec Doctors. He is dedicated to continued growth and learning throughout his career while implementing state of the art technology and techniques.
Dr. Sandman and his wife, Jenna, have two children Evan and Avery. His personal interests and hobbies include fishing, golfing, skiing, and coaching and officiating sports. Most of all though, he loves spending time with his family!
Dr. Casey McLachlan was born and raised in Fargo, ND. Growing up on the north side of Fargo, Insight Dentals location makes him feel right at home. Go Spartans! He attended North Dakota State University to earn his undergraduate degree and went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. After graduation, he moved back to Fargo and joined the Insight Dental team in July of 2018. He enjoys seeing familiar faces and making those small world connections with his patients.
Dr. Caseys goal with each patient is to take a tour of the mouth to discover what treatment or education will be needed to ensure a happy and healthy smile. With dentistry making significant technological strives in recent years, Dr. Casey and Dr. Sandman are always teaming up to learn how to provide the best patient care with todays advances.
In 2018, Dr. Casey married his high school sweetheart. His wife, Haley, is a North Fargo graduate who is a registered nurse at Sanford. When not in the office, he enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.

I've been going here since I was little and was seeing Dr. Joyce. Everyone is so nice and the new dentists are amazing! The new office looks amazing as well

New building same good quality staff and people. The waiting room is huge and even has free coffee now. There is even a kids room.

My husband and I have never been more disappointed with a dental office. The office staff does not return calls and when confronted about their lack of quality service, they give excuse after excuse. After leaving 3 voicemails within 3 weeks, I had to be the one to call a 4th time to get a hold of someone. At each appointment, the wait time is excessive even when there are only 2 people in the waiting room. While the newly renovated office is top of the line, I'd prefer to work with dental staff who focus more on the quality of their service and less on the "looks" of the office. If you're looking for high-quality service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I can't say enough how much I appreciate everyone at Insight Dental. I've always had a good experience with all of the staff. Dr. Sandman always does a great job. Also a big thanks to Diane and Dr. Casey for helping me through a recent emergency visit, even though I was in a panic and a blizzard was moving in. Thank you so much!

They recommend some sevices for my son and told my wife both are covered by our insurance. However, it turned out both services are not covered by our insurance and we have to pay the full price. Stay away from this place
