Christine has been with Innovative Smiles since 2000. She has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1989. Christine is excited to be a part of the Innovative Smiles team and loves the fact that Dr. Alkhiro is so caring and passionate about dentistry. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is building the relationship with her patients.
Christine and her husband, Greg, have two children. Chase is a graduate of Texas A & M University and currently serving in the United States Air Force. Paige is a student at Baylor University studying nursing. Christine spends her time outside the office serving on the board of a local dog rescue and fostering German Shepherds.
Sandi began her dental career over 30 years ago as a Dental Assistant in California. She recently relocated to Houston to marry. As Office Manager her advanced knowledge of the dental profession allows her to guide both staff and patients. Sandi brings a sense of enthusiasm and optimism to the workplace. One of her goals is to be sure things are running smoothly and that the patients and staff are happy! She strives to always listen, and be sensitive and compassionate to others' needs.
Sandi has two children who live in Chicago and Santa Cruz California. She has three grandchildren, two boys and one girl, ages 3, 6, and 13. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, cycling, yoga, and spending time with her husband.
Esperansa brings over 7 years of chairside dental assisting. What she loves most about her job is connecting with her patients on a personal level. Her priority is to make sure her patients are comfortable and happy.
Esperansa and her husband Sam, have two beautiful daughters, 5-year-old Ana, and 1-year-old Mila. Ana loves to sing and dance, and loves everything pink and glittery! Her baby girl Mila is the daredevil of the family! She loves running and climbing on furniture while chasing their two dogs Max and Minnie.
Gilda has been working as a Dental Assistant for 3 years. She always wanted to become a Dental Assistant since she was a young girl and it has been a great fit for her. She loves what she does and enjoys our patients. On her days off, Gilda enjoys visiting her family in the Rio Grande Valley. They enjoy BBQ, working in the yard, and just being together. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs Princess, King, and Bella.
Before making Houston his home, he proudly served with the US Marine Corps overseas. Dr. Al did his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and attended the University Of Texas School Of Dentistry in Houston. Dr.Al believes in treating every patient like they are his own family, while continuously expanding his skillset with continuing education courses.
When Dr. Al is not changing the world one tooth at a time, he enjoys photography, volunteering with dog rescues, DIY projects (especially woodworking), working on his car, and cheering for our Houston hometown teams with his wife Reem. His newest interest is off-roading in their family jeep! They are blessed with twin toddlers, Zachary and Lilia, and their two Shih-Tzus Amore and Oreo.

We absolutely adore Dr. Al and the entire staff at Innovative Smiles. Everyone was incredibly kind and very knowledgeable. Dr. Al spent a lot of time explaining various treatment options. We highly recommend Innovative Smiles!

Dr. Ali and did his staff did a great job making me feel comfortable, and answering all questions I had. Fist step was a consultation to get to know me and what specific dental care I needed. My wife and adult children now plan on going to Innovative Smiles for their dental care as well.

Dr. A and the entire staff are very kind as well as professional. They went the extra mile to make me comfortable for a lengthy procedure. Doc has set his patients up with a massage chair and music or movies to ease any stress before or during dental work. It really helped me! I can highly rate my whole experience.

Changed dentist after 20 years when retiring from work and needed someone closer. My wife was already going here and recommended I try them. Dr Al, Christine and the rest of the staff are great. Dr Al uses the latest technology. His patients care and comfort are his number one concern. I recommend you try them if you're looking for a dentist in the Copperfield/Cypress area.

I highly recommend Innovative Smiles. The office is clean, and the staff are all competent and polite. Dr. Al is an excellent dentist who is on the leading edge of dental techniques and technology. I was just in for four small fillings, and the skill and care that Dr. Al used made this a very good experience.

I had not been to the dentist in quite some time, and I was very nervous (and worried about judgement) about today's appointment. I have a tooth break over the weekend and I was in pain. Dr Al and his staff were super nice, explained everything clearly and made sure I was doing good the whole time. The nurse getting me set up was really good at making sure I was relaxed and not worried. She was very comforting offering me the massage chair, Netflix and talking to me. I was worried about judgment and being pressed and that wasn't an issue at all. I felt like I was in a safe place and not pressured. I was able to get claim and relaxed once we got started and I am not as nervous about returning.

Loved going to Innovative Smiles! Christine the dental hygentis is fabulous and so gentle at cleaning your teeth. Dr Al is so nice,friendly and thorough. Loved how my teeth felt when I left. Definitely go see Dr Al and his staff!
