Dr. Donihue Waters began his life journey just outside Nashville, TN. He has been personally impacted by the benefits of orthodontics. His experience made such an impression that it inspired him to pursue a career in this rewarding field.
Dr. Waters' diligence and focus allowed him to graduate from the University of Memphis at the top of his class and go on to earn his Doctor of Dental Science degree & Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry.
Dr. Donihue Waters has been creating beautifully straightened smiles since 2000. You will find that his magnetic personality will win you over at your first introduction. Dr. Waters is the sculptor of your stunning result and he views your smile as a true art form.

Dr. Waters has a passion for flying airplanes, kiteboarding, and spending time with his family. He is an amazing father to four children and has two grandchildren! When he is not in the office perfecting your smile, Dr. Waters and his wife, Angie, and their dog, Kaia, go on many adventures together.

He chose to specialize in orthodontics after he saw how confident a child or adult can become after getting the smile they deserve. His attention-to-detail mindset matches perfectly with what it takes to diagnose and treat an orthodontic case effectively.
Dr. Clayton graduated top of his class at Armstrong Atlantic State University with a B.S. in Biology. From there, he completed dental school at the Dental College of Georgia (formerly MCG), graduating number one in his class while receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Clayton and his family enjoy spending time outside, traveling, and finding new restaurants to try. To counter being severely outnumbered by females in his house, he also enjoys fishing, hunting, running, and attempting to play golf.

These guys are hands down the best I have dealt with. The moment I called and made an appointment I knew I was in good hands. I have tried to make up my mind with what doctor to choose. I was referred to Innovative by a local friend. I am sure glad I took the time and went. The doctor even sat with me during my visit and gave me several options instead of telling me what I had to do. I feel like they really help patients achieve their goals and honestly care about their patients. I want to thank the team all the way from the receptionists to the doctors. Thank you for listening and helping me get the results I have been dreaming of for years!

I go to the Savannah location and the office is always clean and spotless. I've been a patient for almost 2 years and EVERY time I go for an appointment the staff is always professional, friendly and happy. They all have smiles on their face and give off great energy. My last visit I had Josh and even though all the staff is kind, Josh stood out. He was patient, happy and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and made me feel like as if I knew him for years. I will recommend this group to everyone.

Sometimes Orthodontist have bad reps, because the process may seem scary with all the instruments, extreme YouTube videos ect..These stigmas prevent a lot of people from achieving their best smile. Dr. Waters and his entire staff are amazing they take away those anxieties and give great results with great service. 10/10

First time visiting Innovative orthodontics and the ladies here are very nice and their service here is awesome. While I was getting my pictures taken and getting X-rays done that young lady talked and laughed with me the whole time. Would definitely recommend family and friends coming here.

They are really attentive and professional since the day I entered just for a quote for my bracers at the end I'm glad I chose them because Dr. Water have been really passionate and perfectionist with his work in my smile. The team is always charismatic and happy, you can feel the good vibe since you enter to the office. Also they have 3 locations which make really easy to book an appointment
