My wife Jeri and I have three daughters named Charlie, Kate, and Fiona. In my spare time, I love hiking and playing sports with my wife and kids! I am also active in our community through my membership in the Oral Health Coalition, whose goal is to improve the dental health of children in the area.

Before becoming an orthodontist, I earned my Bachelor of Science with honors from Southeast Missouri State University. Then I obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas School of Dentistry, where I was voted student of the year by my classmates. My orthodontic specialty training was conducted at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, where I was awarded a Master of Dental Science in 2000.

Since graduation, I have continued my orthodontic studies so I would always stay abreast of the most advanced, proven methods to benefit my patients. My highest priority is to give each patient the best smile possible while keeping treatment time as short as possible. I attend as many continuing education courses and seminars as I can so I can stay on the cutting edge and make sure my patients receive the best treatments that are catered to their needs and goals.

I am inspired by my patients on a daily basis, and always enjoy getting to know them personally. I know that each patient and parent puts complete trust in my abilities, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

I have been practicing since 2000 and have taken every opportunity to improve my skills and expand my knowledge. I love seeing the beautiful and healthy smiles at the end of my patients treatments, and I take the time to teach each person how to keep that new smile healthy so it lasts a lifetime.

I feel so fortunate to be an orthodontist! I have the privilege to meet and work with many different people, giving each one individualized care to accomplish their smile goals and improve their self-confidence, oral health, and dental function. I love helping create beautiful smiles that my patients are proud of and happy to show off!

I grew up in Cape Girardeau and the surrounding area, and also lived in Kentucky and Ohio for several years. I am so excited to be back in my hometown, with my family and community that are so important to me.

My husband David is from Paducah, Kentucky, and we met in college. We have a dog and a cat, and love doing outdoor hobbies including hiking and kayaking. I also love reading, baking, flowers, and farm animals (alpacas are my favorite!).

I attended Murray State University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree. Then I moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where I achieved a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Finally, I completed my training with an orthodontic residency at Ohio State University and obtained both a certificate and a Master of Science degree in orthodontics.

Following my graduation, I worked at a private practice in Columbus, Ohio for several years before making the move back to Missouri. I stay active in the orthodontic community through membership in dental and orthodontic organizations, and I strive for continual improvement in my orthodontic practice with continuing education courses on a variety of treatment techniques.

I enjoy interacting with my patients and their families personally and getting to know them beyond their orthodontic care. I also value our Innovative Orthodontics team and appreciate that it takes a village! I love our family environment, and I am so proud to be part of this excellent team. My goal is to treat every patient with care and individualized planning, to ensure that each one receives the best plan with high quality, scientifically based methods, and to achieve exceptional results that meet our mutual objectives for a healthy and beautiful smile.

When I was younger, orthodontics gave me two things that I am forever grateful for: a smile that I am still proud of to this day and a love for the profession that has brought me to this point. I cannot wait to give back to my community and hopefully will make the same meaningful impact on our patients' lives, improving their confidence and oral health.

I grew up about two hours north in the small town of Potosi, Missouri. I have been married to my amazing, high school sweetheart Jessica for eight years now. We have a rambunctious daughter Noella and a sweet, but LOUD, baby boy named Rowan. When not in the office, I love spending time with family and going to the lake to ski, wakeboard, and tube. I am sports fanatic and enjoy playing or watching just about any sport there is. One of my wife and Is favorite activities though, is watching movies at the theater. I mean who doesnt love movie theater popcorn?!

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. I then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and was lucky enough to be able to stay and complete my orthodontic training and complete my Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.

Following my orthodontic residency, my wife and I knew that we wanted to return to southeast Missouri to give back to the community that invested so much in me. I was lucky enough to find an incredible opportunity with Dr. Spence and Dr. Jenn at Innovative Orthodontics and could not be luckier to have joined such an amazing and caring practice.

Since graduating, I have continued to participate in the orthodontic community through memberships in dental and orthodontic organizations as well as continuing education courses. Continuing education offers a chance at honing and improving ones craft, learning from some of the best minds in your field, and I love that it allows me to utilize knowledge gained all around the world to benefit our patients locally. Being active in the community is very important to me as well. This area has given my family and I so much, and I am truly looking forward to being able to pass it on to others through my time, profession, and resources.

Welcome to our practice! I began my career in orthodontics by joining the Innovative Orthodontics team in 1974, I worked in the lab for 37 years fabricating various orthodontic appliances for our patients. Having been in this office for so many years, I love seeing the kids of patients we treated when they were younger.

I also assist the doctor in various capacities for our multiple locations. Training new staff for insurance, financial, marketing positions, as well as software and website training. I coordinate and manage office updates and buildouts.

When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my family, including my husband Alan anddaughters Brandy and Courtney. My favorite hobby is spoiling our four beautiful grandkids: Nate, Ty, Kendall, and Kamryn! My husband and I enjoy camping with our family and friends.

My name is Kaleigh Davis and I came onboard with the IO team early this year. I have been in the Dental field for three years and I have worked in general dentistry, pediatrics and now orthodontics. I graduated in December 2018 with a bachelors degree in communication studies and a minor in health promotions. When Im not working, I love being active outdoors. I spend my free time riding bikes, fishing and playing soccer. I played soccer for SEMO from 2015-2018.

I have two cats; Figg and Crookshanks (all my cats have Harry Potter character names)! Mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping as well as hanging out with family and friends are what I do in my free time.

After graduating from Poplar Bluff High School and the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in December of 2020, I started working as a chairside assistant and the sterilization tech in February 2021.
