Dr. Manal Ibrahim has been providing her patients with outstanding, cutting-edge dental and orthodontic care for over 25 years. Shes a leader in advanced orthodontics and a renowned businesswoman who prides herself on her secret formula for helping patients achieve the results they want in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

Dr. Christine Gin loves building relationships with patients and providing them with top-notch care. She earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and a masters degree in dentistry before continuing her training for two more years to become certified in temporomandibular and orofacial pain. Dr. Gin is fluent in Mandarin, Fookien and Filipino.

Dr. Adri Moyano received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she first met Dr. Ibrahim. After working as a general dentist in the city for many years, she moved to Naperville and joined the team at Innovative Orthodontic Centers. Shes thrilled to be a part of the high-energy practice.

Dr. Manal Ibrahim has devoted much of her adult life to education and the advancement of her dental career. To her, orthodontics is a passion that allows her to marry her genuine love of people with the art and science of delivering the highest quality of orthodontic treatment for lifelong, amazing results.

Dr. Ibrahim didnt take the standard route to become a board-certified orthodontist. She actually did her undergraduate studies in bioengineering. Yet, she quickly decided she wanted to enter the field of dentistry. Therefore, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and her Advanced Combined Prosthodontics Certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Upon graduating, she practiced prosthetic, implant, aesthetic and restorative dentistry and treated adults with a variety of complex dental needs for nearly 10 years. She was also a consultant at a globally recognized dental company, Bisco, Inc., where she conducted national and international lectures.

In the early 2000s, Dr. Ibrahim headed back to school once more for specialty training at New York University College of Dentistry where she received her Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Certificate. Now, shes a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and dedicates her time to the practice of orthodontics as the owner of Innovative Orthodontic Centers in Naperville and Shorewood.

Due to Dr. Ibrahims unique background in prosthetics, implants and orthodontics, as well as her two specialty training programs, she has the ability to treat patients presenting with any degree of complexity. In fact, shes one of the few orthodontists to offer Invisalign to all of her patients regardless of their diagnosis or age and shes a leader in early interceptive treatment with Invisalign. She also maintains her affiliation with her dental school and is on the Alumni Association Board of Directors at the University of Illinois. Dr. Ibrahims husband, Dr. Anthony LaVacca, is a board-certified prosthodontist who owns Naperville Dental Specialists. His practice is complete with a large team of hygienists, prosthodontists, general dentists and surgeons. Together, Dr. Ibrahim and Dr. LaVacca also own Innovative Pediatric Dentistry and an in-house digital lab, Impact Dental. All of the practices fall under the Innovative Dental Partners umbrella, which has allowed them to create a place where patients can move through the timeline of their smile needs. With connected offices, a vibrant, family atmosphere and coordination at every level, theyve truly built a one-of-a-kind, integrated dental destination that offers their patients a lifetime oral health solution.

Dr. Gin graduated second in her class with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines in 1993. After a year in private practice as a general dentist, she pursued further studies at the University of Minnesota. While there, she taught orthodontic courses to undergraduate students before earning a Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a masters in dentistry.

Dr. Gin continued her training for two more years and received a Temporomandibular/Orofacial Pain Certificate. In between all of her schooling, she found the time to teach at the University of the Philippines and lecture on the topics of TMD and orofacial pain.

In 2001, Dr. Gin headed to Texas where she met her husband Barry and had two daughters. She worked as an orthodontist in private practice for 12 years. In order to be closer to extended family, Dr. Gin and her family moved to Illinois. Soon after, she joined the Innovative Orthodontic Centers family. She loves living in the Chicagoland area and working side by side with Dr. Ibrahim. Shes passionate about orthodontics and has an incredible rapport with her patients and their families.

When shes not perfecting smiles, Dr. Gin enjoys spending time with her family and doing volunteering work at her church, her daughters school and in the community. She speaks Mandarin and is fluent in both Fookien and Filipino.
