Dr. Salin has authored a variety of articles and case studies, and he was a contributing author to the most popular oral and maxillofacial trauma textbook. He has presented both locally and nationally on topics of dental implant therapy, maxillofacial trauma, cleft lip and palate surgery, and distraction osteogenesis.

He has a special interest in implant dentistry, specifically cosmetic implant makeovers to improve your smile. Hes also an expert and educator in the field of full mouth implant reconstruction with immediate tooth replacement.

Dr. Salin lives in Lower Gwynedd with his wife Donna, an endodontist, and his two daughters. When not in the office, look for Dr. Salin on a snowy mountain in the Rocky Mountains where he has a passion for skiing with his family and friends.

While surgeons dont typically have long-term relationships with their patients at least, compared to general dentists I thoroughly enjoy working with people and view my patient and I as a team. And trust is the most important aspect of great teamwork. Most people fear both dental work and surgery. When you combine the two, anxiety is extremely common. My role is to relieve your concerns, provide you with the utmost comfort, and work with you to find the best solution.

I became interested in rebuilding lost tissue and placing dental implants when I was exposed to oral and maxillofacial surgery in dental school. Through modern reconstruction techniques, Im able to rebuild the jaws, teeth and facial bones a truly inspiring idea that allows me to change the lives of patients who have suffered for years. Specifically, I enjoy working with young people and try to change their perception of dentistry. While most children hate the dentist, I love the look on their face after I complete a procedure and they ask when Im going to start.

Dr. Weiner participates in numerous study clubs and lectures, and he volunteers in the community on a regular basis. He is also interested in research, having authored a variety of articles and case studies during his training. During the last two years, Dr. Weiner has presented at the annual pathology conference at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.

Ever since I can remember, I have always had the desire to help people and a need to contribute to the community.I truly care about my patients and enjoy taking care of them. My patients can feel that, and it helps establish their trust. I dedicate myself to my patients well-being before, during and after their procedure. Calming and taking care of anxious patients is a crucial part of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and I always prioritize my patients comfort and outcomes at all times.

Dr. Semanoff has extensive training and experience in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, CT-guided virtual planning, office-based anesthesia, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery. To better serve the needs of his patients, he is additionally trained and certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (PALS), and advanced trauma life support (ATLS). Dr. Semanoff is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

He has a special interest in corrective jaw surgeries and reconstruction after facial trauma. Dr. Semanoffs specialties are at the intersection of oral function and aesthetics, as he believes that a reconstructed, fully functioning smile should also be a beautiful one.

Dr. Semanoff was born and raised outside the Philadelphia area. He attended the Manhattan School of Music for one year to study jazz saxophone. He then changed career paths and earned his bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Temple University in 2009. After completing his undergraduate, Dr. Semanoff went onto obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple Universitys Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2013. After earning his doctorate, he completed a general practice residency at the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Semanoff finalized his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center, a level one trauma center in East Meadow, NY. He served as chief resident from 2017-2018.

Dr. Semanoff lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and their dog. When he isnt seeing patients at Innovative Implant and Oral Surgery, Dr. Semanoff enjoys outdoor recreation and the culinary arts.

I have a strong background in oral and maxillofacial trauma. During my residency at Nassau University Medical Center, which is a Level I Trauma Center, I worked with many patients who were frightened that their facial trauma would permanently disfigure them. As an oral surgeon, my number one goal is to reconstruct the jaw and other oral structures in a way that restores proper function.

However, my other priority is to restore my patients aesthetic appearance. I believe that both goals can be compatible and that both are necessary for the long-term wellness and quality of life of my patients.

Whenever I work with a new patient, I like to ask them about their concerns so that I can be sure to address every single one of them. I believe that patient education and collaborative treatment planning is critical for the outcome of the surgery and the overall recovery process. I want my patients to know that Im always here for them and that they shouldnt hesitate to speak up when they have a question or concern.

Dr. Salin and his staff provide exceptional care. I will be getting dental implants to my front teeth due to trauma. Even though this has been an emotional experience for me they have shown care and compassion, which helps tremendously. Dr. Salin has excellent bedside manner, thorough in his explanations and answering questions, and clearly shows he cares about his patients. I highly recommend this practice!

Wisdom tooth removal went as perfect

I had my wisdom teeth extracted September 21st plus one other. It seemed everything was fine. My teeth really didn't hurt after, but then my tongue and throat started hurting and realized my tongue had been gashed probably from the hygienist holding my tongue with her tool. I was hoping it healed by now but it hasn't, so that is why I am leaving this review. I feel someone had to notice this, no one even called after the appointment to see if everything was fine probably because they knew this. My tongue still hurts when I talk or eat and you can see the damage when I put a flashlight in my mouth. I don't believe this was the doctor but I also think he had to have seen this. I am now going on a month of pain when I eat and talk too much. I also get headaches and even my eat hurts all on the left side. Be careful who ever holds your tongue for the extractions. Not sure if they are new but this shouldn't be like this still, it seems like it is never going to heal.

Dr Weiner is the most patient caring physician I have ever met. I have been having a serious issue with my tooth and I am petrified of going to get.an extraction. Mt tooth was infected and would have become life threatening so it had to be extracted. The day of my appointment I was a wreck , he was so patient and caring with me . I was literally shaking profusely and the Dr knowing the importance of getting this tooth out, he continued see his other patients and would check on me in between to see if I was ready . He said he would just work through lunch or whatever he had to do until I was calm enough for him to do the procedure. I was just petrified of being sedated which would have been the best option for me. But again Dr Weiner giving me other options, explaining in detail , and with his confidence I finally felt calm enough to get the procedure. Needless to say he was wonderful, it was easier then I could ever imagine, I put this off for years stressing about it.. until it got to a point antibiotics were not working and I would end up with sepsis if it was not extracted. I can not thank him and his staff enough, he literally saved my life. I am 60 years old and I just wish I would have met him years ago , it was like I have my life back not worrying every day and every holiday if my tooth would flair up and it would be a weekend when I couldn't see a Dr. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is absolutely petrified of getting an extraction. You will be so grateful you went here . I had gone to other oral surgeons in the past for evaluations but noone came close to the comfort Dr Weiner gives to his patients. Thank God for this physician!!! Sincerely. Michelle W

It was only my first visit and it was for a consultation for some major work I will need on my teeth. The staff was just wonderful and super friendly. I had my consultation with Dr. Wiener. He put me at ease immediately by listening to my concerns/fears and just understanding how I was feeling. He thoroughly explained some possible options to me, but emphasized in the end he would provide me with all the necessary information so I could make the best decision for my treatment. I came into the office feeling pretty anxious and left feeling really good!

I've been Dr. Salin's patient for few years now and I appreciate their patience, friendliness and professionalism every time I step in their clinic. I really appreciate that they (especially Dr. Salin) takes the time and explain the procedures they plan to perform and why -especially during my visit when I had a surgical procedure involving general anesthesia, Dr.Salin even brought for me a new publication showing recent updates and improvements he will follow during the surgery; I would recommend to anyone their office.

Follow up Sept 2022 - now that implants done, recommendation remains 5 star: Dr. Salin and staff are extremely professional; office very well organized and run, and staff attentive to patient from arrival to leaving the office. Dr. Salin practices state-of-the art oral surgery and takes the time to explain all options and what he considers will be the best approach for an excellent outcome.
