Dr. Rogan C. Schneider prides herself on delivering comprehensive, lifetime dental care with compassion and kindness for the entire family. Her top priority is to ensure that her patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout all dental procedures. Through the use on state-of-the-art technology, a great focus is placed on incorporating the most recent dental technology to ensure efficient, comfortable and lasting dentistry. This includes the use of CAD-CAM technology which allows for same-day crowns and restorations. Dr. Schneider forms close and genuine relationships with her patients so that they feel welcome and cared-for by a friend and personal advocate.
Dr. Schneider earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Maryland at College Park. She went on to earn a Master of Public Health in International Health Promotion from The George Washington University. Following the completion of her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) at the University of Maryland at Baltimore, she completed a Residency in General Dentistry at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington DC. She eagerly continues her education by attending dental continuing education classes in order to stay abreast on the most recent advances in dentistry. She has attended numerous courses in Invisalign (clear braces), esthetic dentistry, implants, endodontics (root canal therapy) and laser dentistry, to name a few.

ZERO STARS. I began using Innovative Dentistry 8 years ago before Dr. Caldwell retired. I have observed a steep decline in the amount of BIPOC staff since Dr. Schneider took over. On that note, Dr. Schneider is one of the least compassionate and professional dentists I have experienced. For four years plus, she has pestered me beyond belief trying to persuade me into buying Invisalign from her, as opposed to a qualified orthodontist. She even recruited her wonderfully kind hygienist Shabnam (the only good thing about this practice) to do her dirty work for her. Neither of them will take no for an answer. When Dr. Schneider realized she would never get my money, she stopped talking mid-sentence and walked away from me. Dr. Schneider can be ice cold and judgmental as she attempts to build a rapport with patients. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Didn't like how they handle my crown replacement. When I went to get my new crown it didn't fit me so they have to send it back to the lab and it took almost a month to reschedule and replace it.

This place is TERRIBLE, told me I had several cavities, went for a second, and third opinion no cavities were found. Their prices are astronomical!

My family left this practice because of billing problems. I've tried to resolve many times, with no luck. I ended up paying for services that should have been billed to and paid by my insurance company. Can't say anything negative about the doctors or hygienists, but I also can't recommend based on the billing issues.

I went to this place for my 4 front up teeth care twice. The third time was after an accident during my work service duty, and my front of teeth were broken. After my examination I requested Dr Rogan to have two quotes of my treatment plan: one with my insurance benefit applied and the second without (full price) destined to my work company as part of my accident report packages and cost. However, the office manger refused to submit the bill to my insurance and charge me for the full price, with the reason that my work company will pay me back. I tried several times to dress this question with her but no success. I'm paying my insurance from my own pocket to cover my dental health. Also I tried to reach out Dr Rogan through ( email, phone call and text ) and she never replied back to me. It was the worst and frustrated experience and will never return to this office. NB: I was happy with my two first visits but It sad to see that they care more about money than their patient.

Be very careful with this office. They told me they accepted my insurance so I visited them. They filled some cavities, etc. This was 2 years ago. I recently received a bill indicating that I owed over 1000$ for the office visits. I called and they gave me a run around saying the bill was accidental, disregard, they do take my insurance and they're working it out with them. I called my insurance who indicated that the specific dentist I saw was NOT covered, but others at the office are covered. Thus, I am now on the hook for over 1000$. They also recommended filling cavities that other dentists told me they would never touch (too small). If you decide to go here, double check your insurance info and get a second opinion on more extensive procedures! Horrible experience!
