Dr. Mark Alvino was born in West Caldwell, near Newark, New Jersey in the northern part of the state. Dr. Alvino went on to study at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then continued on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. As a part of his continuing dental education, Dr. Alvino also became certified at the Pankey Institute, which provides advanced dental education programs to address the technical, behavioral, and financial aspects of building a thriving practice. After completing his residency at the Eastman Dental Center, Dr. Alvino fell in love with the Greater Rochester Area and never left!
Dr. Alvino knows the importance of learning and is always continuing his dental education. Dr. Alvino is an active member of The American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, 7th District Dental Association, and the Monroe County Dental Association. Dr. Alvino is dedicated to caring for his patients by not only giving them the best care but treating them with kindness.
