Dr. Mark Alvino was born in West Caldwell, near Newark, New Jersey in the northern part of the state. Dr. Alvino went on to study at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then continued on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. As a part of his continuing dental education, Dr. Alvino also became certified at the Pankey Institute, which provides advanced dental education programs to address the technical, behavioral, and financial aspects of building a thriving practice. After completing his residency at the Eastman Dental Center, Dr. Alvino fell in love with the Greater Rochester Area and never left!
Dr. Alvino knows the importance of learning and is always continuing his dental education. Dr. Alvino is an active member of The American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, 7th District Dental Association, and the Monroe County Dental Association. Dr. Alvino is dedicated to caring for his patients by not only giving them the best care but treating them with kindness.

Dr Giangreco treated me for a new crown, first needing to remove a 50 year old crown from the last top tooth in my mouth. Very tricky angle and quite tedious for him, although he kept me quite comfortable, not a trace of discomfort. I so appreciated his caring, compassion and skill with which he completed this lengthy process.He's a wonderful dentist, who had my confidence from the start. Jamie, his assistant was careful and did a great job too. As a relatively new patient to this practice, (6 months) I have been impressed each visit with the kindness and courteous welcome from Brandi, the receptionist. Danielle, the office manager, has gone out of her way to answer questions, facilitate treatment, and is extremely kind, professional and helpful! Thank you, all. Great practice!!

My experience at Innovative Denal Health is always a positive one. From the front desk staff to the dental hygienist and the dentist, they greet you with a smile, friendly conversation and excellent work. They show sincere interest and care to what is important and concerning to me. Always explain to me what they are doing, options and cost. I always leave with big smile!

10/12/2022 ... My scheduled dental cleaning with Rachel went very well. She's always pleasant, takes care not to cause any pain and it was quick. I had a couple of questions for Dr. Gary and his explanation as usual was to the point. The front desk receptionists were as always pleasant and helpful .. A Big Thumbs Up to All 6/20/2022 ... Had my dental visit for a cleaning with Rachel and as usual she was great ... Always pleasant and gentle. I have braces so Rachel is always conscious of taking care to preserve their integrity. I also want to say that the receptionist girls are fantastic as well. Thank you to Innovative Dental Health for a great staff and very comfortable atmosphere Update 6/9/2021... Just had another appointment today for a cleaning and X-rays. The front office receptionist was very pleasant as always. I also noticed the waiting room was back to normal seating with a small guidelines sign, it just felt so much more relaxed than a year ago Rachael was my Hygienist and she was great We talked about different things, made me laugh too Dr. Gary checked my teeth and we talked about a couple things that are coming up soon and in the future. He's great, listens to you, gives advise and puts you at ease, so much appreciated. Again a Very Professional, Home Like and Relaxing practice ... Thanks I had my first appointment 6/3 since the Pandemic changed so many of the basics we take/took for granted !!! I felt very comfortable even as I walked into the office. They are obviously following all of the guidelines set in place now which are so important to the staff, Dr Gary as well as all of the patients. The office and rooms spotless. My cleaning went great .. quick, painless, thanks so much !!! My consultant with Dr Gary was stated so that I could understand the issues and he's always straight forward !!! I've been his patient for several years ... Thank you everyone at Innovative Dental !!!

My family and I have been patients here for the last few years and have always had great experiences however, today was above and beyond! My daughter was incredibly nervous and tearful regarding a possible procedure and Dr. Gary and his team could not have been more kind, compassionate and understanding. We didn't end up doing the procedure because my daughter chose not to and he respected it and made a deal to do it next time. The amount of trust that she gained from this experience today will stay with her for a long time! Thank you!

This review only encompasses todays experience with the dental hygienist. She was very thorough making sure all the plaque was removed and fastidiously made sure all the stains were removed. The conversation was very pleasant and friendly. If you want the best cleaning experience ask for an appointment with Rachel at Innovative Dental. 5 stars for sure.

Dr. Gary and the team here are all so wonderful. I first came to them in 2018 because they were willing to remove my 10 year old permanent retainer and make me a night guard when other dentists refused. Since then, I have received impeccable care with thoughtful advice that have kept my teeth happy and healthy. Also, major shoutout to Marissa for removing all my coffee stains on my teeth on my most recent visit - I was amazed with what I saw when I got home from my cleaning. Can't recommend Innovative Dental enough!
