Joseph R. Morris, DDS has been in practice for over 30 years in the Islip, NY area. He earned his BS in Chemistry from State University of New York at Oneonta and attended NYU College of Dentistry, graduating in 1984.
Dr. Morris is also a continuing education addict, having studied with dental gurus such as Dawson, Spear and Kokich among many others. He is active in local study clubs and completed the prestigious NYU Continuing Dental Education (CDE) Implant program in 2012.
He stayed on at NYU as a Clinic Associate and is now an Associate Clinical Faculty member. Dr. Morris also helps to organize the lecture series for the Implant Program at NYU. Dr. Morris is committed to bringing in the latest technology in order to serve his dental patients with the highest quality care.
Away from the office, Dr. Morris sits on not for profit boards helping emotionally and physically disabled individuals live full and active lives. He lives in the Islip area and enjoys spending time with his three grown children. He is an avid golfer and scuba diver, and even makes an occasional appearance on stage as an amateur actor.

By far the best dentist I have ever had! Been a long list of dentist before him that never made the cut. Dr. Morris creates a pleasant experience and has been phenomenal with his dental work. Easy staff to work with, super clean, and super convenient scheduling and paying systems! No one better.

The staff is vigilant about ensuring everyone's safety, from the moment of my arrival through my departure. Dr. Joe is always a great dentist but he made me feel super comfortable while visiting his practice during this challenging time. My thanks to them all!

The office staff was very helpful and pleasant. The environment was very clean. My hygienist gave me the best cleaning I have had in many years (and I thought my last dentist's hygienist did an excellent job). She and Dr. Morris were very knowledgeable, explained everything they were doing and my required care in a compassionate, thoughtful manner.

Not having been for routine dental care since pre-COVID, I was hesitant to subject myself to the expected discomfort, and apprehensive to start with a new dentist in my area. I was pleasantly surprised that, in spite of the much-needed deep cleaning, I have not suffered any discomfort as I usually do. Stacy (hygienist) was thorough and explained an easy-care daily routine with instruments I already have. Patty (assistant) explained a dental insurance plan without fussing with pre-approvals, forms, and the painful tasks that go along with medical/dental claims. Dr. Morris is so approachable and knowledgeable, no question went unanswered, and he provided options for my concerns. I feel confident that, with this staff, my future dental visits will not be the dreaded, anxiety-ridden experiences of the past. My daughter recommended them to me, and I, to you!

Incredibly kind, thorough, and painless experience. They even accommodated me when I was 15 minutes late, so that was very much appreciated. My teeth feel amazing after my first cleaning at Dr. Morris's office :)

I have been a patient of Dr. Morris for more than 25 years. I trust his approach as he reaches into his 35+ years of experience. Dr. Morris explains everystep he is doing all along your appointment. His soft touch rarely leaves you in extreme pain. He is truly a Professional in every aspect. I certainly reccomend Dr. Morris for your dental needs.

First off, the lady that answered the phone was able to squeeze me in to pick up my Invisalign and make sure it fits correctly. I arrived in a few minutes like she requested and I went unnoticed in the waiting room for 10 minutes. I didn't go up to the front desk until the patient before me finally stepped away (to respect social distancing). I asked how much longer until I was seen and the lady told me she never saw me walk in, even though I had JUST spoken to her on the phone telling her I'd be there in a few minutes. Then, Voila, all of a sudden the assistant calls me in to the exam room. Sigh. Also, the office NEVER contacted me to tell me my Invisalign finally came in after I was fitted for it 3 MONTHS EARLIER. They did warn me that Covid would delay things at the lab, but how long has it been sitting in your office? I only knew it came in because I called them this week. I really like this practice but the front desk really needs better training. Their carelessness is simply unacceptable.

I have such anxiety over dental visits and have felt so much better since I switched to Dr. Morris a year ago. Everyone at the office is so kind and accommodating. Recommend, 10/10!
