Dr. Sami Zelkha graduated from the College of Art Science at Boston University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2007. He continued his education at BU, graduating with a Masters Arts in Oral Health in 2009. Dr. Zelkha completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in 2015 and completed a General Practice Residency program at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center in PA from 2016-2017. During his tenure at Howard University College of Dentistry, Dr. Zelkha received many awards including the International Congress of Oral Implantologist Award, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award, the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award and the Division of Community Dentistry Award.
Dr. Zelkha is extremely excited to become an integral part of the Innovate Dental family and is very eager to meet all his patients. Taking care of the community is of Dr. Zelkhas top priority and he looks forward to changing the lives of his patients in the years to come.

Sherry began her career in dentistry in 2007 and joined our offices as an Insurance Coordinator in 2014. Sherry became the office manager of the Boylston location in 2019. She is working towards a degree in Business Administration from Quinsigamond Community College, CPR, BLS and Bloodborne Pathogen certifications and is a registered dental assistant with the state of Massachusetts. Sherry truly enjoys the interaction she has with people daily, from our amazing patients to our hardworking and dedicated team. Sherry finds joy in learning and implementing the new things that evolve in dentistry. In her spare time, Sherry loves spending time with her boys, friends and dogs.
Meghan is new to dentistry, making a career change in November of 2019. Prior to dentistry, Meghan was a preschool teacher for 11 years, holding an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Meghan is also first aid and CPR certified. As she continues to learn and grow in her role within the dental community, Meghan has found enjoyment being surrounded by the team she works with. She states that not only does the team work hard, but they have fun while doing it! In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and running OCR races.
Sarah joined the Innovate Dental team in April of 2019 but began her journey in dentistry in 2015. She holds an Associates degree in General Studies from Quinsigamond Community College and is CPR, OSHA, BLS, radiology and infection control certified. In addition, Sarah is a registered dental assistant in the state of Massachusetts. When asked what she loves about her job Sarah replied my favorite part of the job is all the different people we get to help and all the fun procedures we get to do! I am always learning something new. In her spare time, Sarah loves going to the beach and hanging out with her baby cousins, nieces and nephews.

I call up making an appointment to have a tooth removed. They give me an appointment. I show up and tell them I am at the facility to get a tooth removed. They look at the tooth. Take xrays, take pictures. Then I am told how great they are at dental issues. Then I am told to go elsewhere as they do not remove teeth !!! So when I made the appointment why not tell me then? Why not tell me when I walked in? Why bother to give me xrays? Why bother to take pictures? Why bother to tell me how great your work is? Then tell me to go elsewhere............

A most pleasant surprise! Candy came home in a much brighter mood and feeling much better than when we left. Thank you to Rachel and all of you at Innovate for the concern and care that you showed her during her checkup/exam. She had a truly uplifting experience - not what people usually say about the dentist's office.

I love Dr Platte, he makes your dental visit comfortable, painless, and conversational.... He does a great job at whatever treatment you're having done. All my experiences they have been pleasant.. he has a great team to work with!

Excellent staff and location, made me feel welcome and comfortable (I am nervous at the dentist in general) and they took the time to make sure I was feeling okay and talked me through a plan to take care of my teeth. Highly recommend

The only office in the area that I would recommend going to! The front staff is always welcoming, especially Meghan. The hygienist, Rachel, is me and my sons favorite. She was amazing and with him on his first visit with her and Dr. Zelkha is hands down an amazing doctor, he is always paying attention to his patients and their needs. It is the most important thing to him. The office as a whole, has the best family oriented vibe. A very home like feel to it. Do yourself a favor and take a visit into the office and meet the team here.

Let me be the first to say I am afraid of the dentist, but Chelsea, Meghan, and Rachel made me feel so welcomed and comfortable that it made the whole experience amazing. They were very inviting, informative and funny! Dental care is something I know is important but never made time for. After my experience today I will definitely be back and be on top of my dental health! I recommend this place to anyone that needs a warm smile and gentle tone to ease them in the chair, Thank you guys so much!

Called office this morning, was able to see the doctor immediately. Everyone is very kind, considerate and friendly. Would not be comfortable going anywhere else.

Let's be honest, no one wakes up and looks forward to a trip to the dentist. That being said innovative dental truly makes the experience a little more comfortable. Chelsea met me in the lobby to take my temperature and information and I just know under that mask was a warm smile. The dental hygienist Rachel made sure I was doing okay as she cleaned my teeth, was very pleasant and explained each step and answered any question I had. She even gave me recommendations on how to care for my teeth better, what a gal. Dr. Zelkha is very knowledgeable and quite the character, ask him for kayak recommendations. 10/10 all around, I'll never go to another dentist.

I am new to the area and have been very impressed with the level of service and professional treatment I have been given by Dr Zelhka and his staff! Their conscientious care especially during this COVID period has been excellent. I have received an excellent cleaning in June as well as an immediate check on some discomfort with a crown that was quickly resolved. They took me the same day. Dr Zelhka was conservative in his treatment and it seems to have done the trick. I would highly recommend them. I was concerned about finding a good dentist once we relocated here and I feel so happy to have found them.
