Ingalls Pediatric Dentistry was established by Dr. W. Michael Ingalls over three decades ago and his son, Christopher M. Ingalls joined him in the practice in 2012. Having delivered first-rate dental care to thousands of patients in our area, Ingalls Pediatric Dentistry knows how to earn the trust of our patients and their parents.

There are so many choices when it comes to choosing the right dentist for your childs teeth. It can be overwhelming as you consider the prospect of paying high costs at the dentist, or even selecting the wrong dentist. We also know that just the idea of going to the dentist can be uncomfortable, or even scary, for some children, and for you as a parent.

At Ingalls Pediatric Dentistry, we take the unease out of going to the dentist and replace it with smiles. We believe that the dentist office should be a place where your child feels comfortable and you feel confident about the dental care theyre receiving.

Our dentist will communicate clearly and fully with you so you understand the purpose of our techniques and treatment. Our friendly staff is happy to sit down with you and explain our process in greater detail!

If you want kid-friendly, then youve come to the right dental office! We offer a childrens play area and a variety of games throughout the office, all intended to deliver first-rate hospitality for you and your kids. From the light colors in our reception room to the colorful sea creature dcor of our treatment room walls, all are intended to invite a happy and friendly yet calm and comforting atmosphere for our young patients.

When you come to Ingalls Pediatric Dentistry, our number one goal is to decrease the chances of your child experiencing cavities, gum disease, or other major oral health issues. That is why regular checkups are so important! Our routine dental services include checkups, crowns, fillings, extractions, sealants, digital x-rays, space maintainers, and general preventative care.

Dr. Christopher Ingalls grew up in Lake Mary. He attended Lockhart, Bear Lake and Wilson Elementary School, then went on to Greenwood Lakes Middle School and graduated from Lake Mary High School with honors. While in his youth, he worked hard to earn the Eagle Scout Award and the On My Honor Award. After high school, he enrolled at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah for a year, then put his studies on hold to go serve a two-year mission for his church in Monterrey, Mexico. After his mission, he returned to BYU to finish his undergraduate degree, where he double majored in zoology and Spanish. He graduated from BYU magna cum laude in 2005.

In 2006, Dr. Ingalls returned to Florida and enrolled in dental school at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. While in dental school, he was awarded membership into the Honor Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Charles W. Fain Pediatric Dentistry Award and also received the Ethics Award from the UF College of Dentistry during both of his junior and senior years. He graduated magna cum laude in 2010. After dental school, he went on to receive specialty training in current practices and techniques for pediatric dentistry and completed a Pediatric Dentistry Certificate Program with the University of Florida in Naples, Florida in 2012. He is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Ingalls loves to spend time with his wife and four children. You can often find them biking or running on the Cross-Seminole Trail and playing outdoors. He loves running, gymnastics and volleyball. He also serves actively in his church.

Our staff is trained regularly in the most up-to-date information available on Pediatric Dentistry topics. Continuing Education is provided to help each increase their knowledge and ability. You can teach much, but each of our staff members comes with an inborn love of children and a desire to help them.

Dr. Ingalls and his staff are fantastic. We were concerned how our 8 year old daughter would handle the transition after being with another dentist for years. She did great and the staff made her feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Ingalls spent quite a bit of time after her appointment talking with Dad, which was appreciated. And the best part is, they accept insurance. Looking forward to our next visit.

Dr. Ingalls uses a "papoose board" on small children and has terrified my sweet toddler to ever go back. If you don't believe in strapping down your young child in a restraining jacket (for him to work on their teeth) this may not be the dentist for you.

I worked here, for Dr W. Ingalls. I trust Dr. C. Ingalls and his staff, the same. I know from personal experience the importance this office places on your child's care and dental needs. I drive my little one 1.5 hours for her dental needs because wouldn't take my child anywhere else! They are the best.

Love both Dr. Ingalls'! My kids started coming before the elder Ingalls retired. For those who were posting about not being allowed back with their kids. I have worked in the medical field for decades and it is not a lie that kids behave better when their parents are not around. I knew that going in so when my youngest had to have cavities filled, I let them do the job I'm paying them to do. Stop babying your kids! It will make the procedure go so much quicker if you let them handle it. Baby them after the fact. Tell them you can sympathize, but don't make an already hard job harder for the hygienists and doctor. Just my opinion. She's 14 now and still doesn't believe that they gave her a needle for those cavities. I'd say that's a good doctor.

Office staff was friendly and knowledgeable at my son's first cleaning appt but the hygienist was a bit rough. 2nd appt for cavity filling did not go well. As this was a new dentist, he wanted me to be there or at least be able to come back if needed to give him reassurance to continue procedure. I expressed this to the Dr. Ingalls Snr. who said their policy was to not allow this but if needed they would come get me. Filling went well but after my son told me walking out that he has asked for me to come back to reassure him and the dentist refused to do so saying "Mommy was not allowed and she didn't know how to fix your teeth." This is highly inappropriate to tell a child, to keep his parent from him who could have relieved his anxiety. Discussed this with the office manager and will not be coming back.

My oldest child has been coming here his entire life and is about to graduate to having to go to "the grown ups' dentist" and my younger children still go here. The staff and dental team are amazing and every time one child goes the others get jealous because they want to come! Really helps when they first get introduced to having to come to the dentist! They have games to occupy, parents tour the facility but of course don't come back during their appointment as children are better behaved without parents lingering next to them, they involve the children with "jobs" to do during their visit in the chair and afterwards they call you back to go over everything (and reassure the anxious parents who don't like being separated) and then the children get to go by the rewards center and pick out a reward! Thank you all so much for making it a pleasant experience each and every time and of course for taking such great care of their dental health!

DDS for Children with Dr. Michael Ingalls and Dr. Christopher Ingalls is top NOTCH!!! The entire staff (office staff, dental hygienist and dentist) are truly incredible and from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave are friendly and extremely professional. We have two children currently under the care of this practice and will use them for our baby in the near future. You will not go wrong trusting this family pediatric dental practice with the care of your children's dental needs. The kids especially love how the dentists take time to converse with them and explain the particular dental procedure - which makes a huge difference in performing the dental care. The only question you will be asking is "Why have I not found them before". Well earned 5 STARS!!!

Brought my 5 y/o for dental exam, cleaning and x-rays; had a great experience. She enjoyed the games and office staff. Will definitely bring her back.

I have taken my children here since they were toddlers. Dr. Ingall's methods were never questioned. My children were provided with, what we believed to be, premium dental care. In hindsight, I now clearly see this clinic for what it is - a for profit business first, and a dental care clinic second. We were treated like royalty solely based on the fact that we carried a premium dental plan through my employer. In August of this year, I was laid off, and with that, went the "elite" group dental plan. One of my daughters is now in need of emergency dental care on a tooth that has been worked on by Dr. Ingall SEVERAL TIMES in the past. We were very easily coerced into allowing him perform a build up and crown on one of my daughters baby molars. During a routine cleaning in July of this year, Dr. Ingalls discovered decay on the tooth immediately in front of the molar he crowned some months prior. He convinced us that extraction was the best method for this tooth, and because the decay had somehow spread under the crown he placed, he would need to remove the crown, complete a root canal, a major filling, and a crown replacement versus extract the baby molar. He claimed that an extraction of this baby molar would put her at risk of malformed adult molars, potentially leading to physical disfigurement and a life time of complications. Like any caring parent, we ran with his recommendation. Everything went well, so we thought, until the last several days. I called the office this morning, thinking that as a loyal patient, we would be treated with the same care and compassion we enjoyed in the past. This is where the fairy tale ends. I was told that, out of the kindness of the office managers heart, they would permit me to pay half up front, out of pocket, and be billed for the difference of the x rays and check up fees (approximately $40). All good so far. I then reminded the receptionist that my daughter will need more than just an x ray and an exam and asked if she had also arranged for us to be billed for the out of pocket costs associated with remedying her (mind you this tooth had undergone major work on 2 separate occasions performed by Dr. Ingalls, exclusively, with the latest instance in July of this year). I was told the only thing they could potentially assist with was a prescription for antibiotics and that we would NOT be provided any emergency dental care beyond that. My uncle is an M.D. licensed to practice in California and New York, and has, on more than one occasion, provided care to people in need while we were out in public, without any question as to whether or not they had insurance. Any medical professional who has taken the oath to heart would never deny a patient emergency care over a coverage issue, period (not to mention that this issue is partly due to his sloppy work). Unfortunately, Dr. Ingall's does not run this clinic, administratively nor medically. Patients are at the mercy of his shrewd office staff. As if the denial of care wasn't enough, the receptionist made a rather boorish comment stating that Dr. Ingall's would, however, provide my daughter and I with some great tips on brushing and flossing better after the exam?!?!?!? What? Good bye forever.

Amazing office staff and Dr. My 3yo son knocked his front tooth out when he face planted while walking. Called these guys and they got us in same day as new patient. This was his first time to dentist . Office is very welcoming. He did awesome. Even got his teeth cleaned! Dentist was very reassuring and have a lot of instructions. Very very friendly. Treated wonderfully and we didn't have insurance.

As soon as you enter the door all you feel is attention and care they are passionate staff, everyone reflects the love on what they do from the office to the dentist. After my daughter 6 years old gets her 4 botton teeth removed I ask her; do you like the dentist? Do you want to come back? She said YESS!!!. And my 13 years old like it as well. Thanks to everyone for your excellence at work
