Thoroughly Midwestern is the simplest way to begin to describe Dr. Steven Sylvester DDS. Born in Kansas, raised in the farm equipment industrial center of the Illinois / Iowa agricultural heartland, educated in rural western Illinois and urban Chicago, diversity marks his life experience. Having acquired a Liberal Arts BA degree from the prestigious Knox College in a blazing fast three years, Dr. Sylvester spent the following decade in a variety of businesses. Dental laboratory work, communications, construction, small business ownership and a stint in a fortune 100 corporation all added pieces to the puzzle of a predental education.
Pursuit of a formal Dental education at the University of Illinois at Chicago brought about a BA in Dental Science and attainment of the goal of a DDS degree. Upon receiving an Illinois State license in 1994, Dr. Steve Sylvester immediately began practicing dentistry in South Holland. This was the beginning of 11 years of service in the dental office of Rest Haven South skilled care nursing facility (now named Provident in South Holland.) During the two next years it took to set up a full time dental office in South Holland, Il he served in two main offices in Chicago and the northern suburbs as well as taking many part time / temporary assignments in the greater Chicago region.
Work is a thoroughly Midwestern value. Dr. Steven Sylvester worked his way through high school (Veterinary Attendant), College (restaurant shift manager) and Dental School (dental laboratory technician and Sherwin Williams commercial store employee.) The first job gave insight into the medical world. The last sharpened shade matching skills. The others did their respective parts to supplement what goes on in the academic world. The student in Dr. Sylvester is never turned off.
Always hunting for the best way to solve any problem, Dr. Steve Sylvester, continually added to his portfolio of techniques addressing common problems. He experienced a constant flow of learning opportunities through exposure to different offices, live seminars, professional development courses and his own research. Even being a beta tester for a major dental manufacturer gave unique (and fun!) opportunities to be improved while playing with the latest FDA approved wonders.
Personally Dr. Sylvester finds refreshment in his hobbies of gardening, scratch cooking and photography. Imagine how those three hobbies might intertwine with each other. Heirloom plant varieties are a special interest due to their historical and unique quality characteristics. His wife, Narkita, joins him in his hobbies. As a Raw Food Vegan, she adds a whole new perspective to his decades long personal study of practical nutrition.
Dr. Steven Sylvester is, by personality, a natural teacher. This finds outlets in his office serving as a training center for occasional dental assistant interns. He also serves in the capacity of a Foundations Class instructor at Fireside Fellowship Bible Study in South Holland, IL.
Dr. Kehinde Fasanya, DDS, enjoys treating his patients and interacting with them. He gives the best quality of dental service and dental treatment, with a great attitude. He derives great satisfaction by rendering a good standard of dental care. His patients always receive more education and dental awareness of their oral health.
Dentistry has been Dr. Fasanyas passion since he began his adult years and has led him to receive 2 dental degrees: a Bachelor of Dental Surgery B.D.S. from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1990 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery D.D.S. from New York University in 2010. Dr. Kehinde Fasanya is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.

Extremely personable service while ensuring the patient is comfortable with asking questions about procedure occurring and other concerns. Professional and thorough techniques to ensure quality dental care provided while giving proactive information to help prevent or reduce future dental health issues. My hygienist was awesome and extraordinarily great within her role. I recommend her and the facility with the highest grading score possible! The entire staff was friendly and professional.

I needed an emergency appointment because I cracked my tooth. I called and was able to be seen the next day. Dr. Sylvester and his team took care of me, I was in and out in less than an hour with NO pain. Great experience. Thanks to the entire Infinity Smile Dental Center team!!

Actually everything went relatvely well. I had a filling replaced on lower left, but the bite still feels ackward like maybe that side meets b4 the other or something...not sure.

I absolutely love this place ! I've been going to Karina for about a year and a half now for my braces and I absolutely love every experience I've had from the time I walk through the door I'm always greeted with a smile and I'm never waiting more than 5 minutes sometimes no wait at all . I absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of braces

I do not like going to the dentist, but the staff at Infinity Smile makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. They are very nice and professional. The hygienist was great. She explained in details the cleaning process and made sure that I did no feel any pain or discomfort while she cleaned my teeth. Keep up the good work. I will see you in 6 months.

Staff is fantastic! Dr. Slyvester is gentle and explains everything that he does in a manner in which is easy to understand and he answers any and every question very professionally. If he's unable to complete testing or a procedure in his office he'll refer you to another professional that has standards comparable to his. I've been a patient for over a decade and would not dream of going anywhere else!

I had cleaning on Aug 2nd 2021. Hyginest asked how are you I responded in a hurry. That was the wrong response. Even though I have a small amount of teeth, in all the years ive been coming there I never had what seemed like a 5 minute cleanig. She told the dentist who checked my teeth what issues she had discussed with me and that I was in a hurry. The kit you receive at end of cleaning as incomplete compared to prior kits I received. She proceeded to have a whispering conversation with one of her coworkers at front desk after which they both began to laugh. If it wasnt about my visit and remark about me being in a hurry then there should not have been whispering, so disrespectful. This office is poorly ran when Dr. Sylvester is not there which was the case that day.
