Dr. Gina Marcus is native to Miami, Florida where she attended the Gulliver Preparatory School. She graduated from the University of Florida, Gainesville in 1999, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Dr. Marcus attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA, where she received her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2003.

Dr. Marcus believes that a healthy mouth is a gateway to a healthy body. She provides the highest level of care in general dentistry, Invisalign, comprehensive dentistry, and other Facial Cosmetics, which are just some of the many services she offers to help all of our patients achieve this goal.

Dr. Marcus believes that giving back to her community is critical to being a professional. She has participated in philanthropic ventures beginning in elementary school and plans to continue throughout her life.

The Lotus House has become the focus of the Infinity Dental Team philanthropy initiative. In February of 2019, the #spreadthelove campaign was begun. Throughout the month of February, three prongs of service are provided to the women and children of the Lotus House.

She was appointed Director of the Board for theSandy B. Muller Breast Cancer Foundationand served in many capacities in the foundation from its launch in 2008 through 2017. The foundation is a non-profit which raises funds to help patients financially while they are undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Dr. Marcus enjoys engaging with her local communitys youngest members as well. She participates in Career Day presentations at various elementary schools in the area. Most currently, she presented at the Tooth Fairy Oral Health Care Presentation at Coconut Grove Elementary School.

Dr. Marcus is a member and active participant in several prestigious professional organizations. She was nominated and appointed in September 2020 to be a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) to the Board of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA). She presented two lectures at the AACA GRC convention in Las Vegas in 2021, was presented an award for being the leader of the Miami chapter of the AACA study club, and earned her Fellowship designation to the AACA; one of two in the state of Florida! The Fellowship designation to the AACA signifies a plethora of experience and her phenomenal knowledge of the Invisalign clear aligner system. She excelled during the rigorous process and became one of 23 Fellowship recipients in the country.

She was nominated for 2016-2018 as a Delegate for the South Florida District Dental Associationto the Florida Dental Association House of Delegates as well as a Delegate of the Florida Dental Association to the American Dental Association. In 2018, she was selected to be Alternate Trustee to the Board of Trustees of the Florida Dental Association. Other organizations Dr. Marcusis involved with are the American Academy of Clear Aligners, Elite Invisalign Study Club, the South Florida District Dental Association, the Greater Miami Dental Society, International Team for Implantology (ITI), Seattle Study Club, Spear Education, as well as many other local study clubs.

One of the most rewarding of the study clubs is the one she co-founded, KNOW, Killer Network of Outstanding Women in Dentistry. KNOW was organized to develop a tight-knit group of women dental practice owners where ideas can be shared, a Lean In inspired idea. The group helps each other in many aspects of balancing career, practice ownership, dentist/entrepreneur and family.

Dr. Marcus stays involved with all aspects ofdentistry by frequently attending seminars for continuing education at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Learning is a lifelong endeavor and staying current with cutting edge technology, materials, and procedures in dentistry are critical to her and her practice.

Dr. Marcus published an article, Maternity Leave for Practice Owners which was published in the September/October 2014 Edition of Todays FDA magazine,www.floridadental.org. She discussed her difficulties and provides helpful tips on how to prepare a dental practice for any dentist who may be away from the practice for an extended period of time.

Dr. Marcus was featured inThe Beauty Prescription, on the best seller list in the UK, a doctors complete formula for looking and feeling beautiful. As reviewed onAOL Health, Dr. Marcus highlights ways to improve self-esteem by improving your smile. Registered Dental Hygienist Andrea Gutierrez is originally from Medellin, Colombia and came to Miami, Florida in 1999. During high school she became interested in the dental field and attended a dental aide program. After completing the dental aide program, her high academic standing allowed her to gain advanced placement to the dental assisting program at Robert Morgan Educational Center. She graduated in 2004 as a Certified Dental Assistant.

After working as a Certified Dental Assistant for two years with Dr. Marcus, she decided to advance in her profession and become a dental hygienist. She graduated from Miami Dade College with an Associate in Science in Dental Hygiene.

As a registered dental hygienist (RDH), Andrea is committed to promoting and maintaining the oral health and wellness of her patients. She strives to provide preventive, educational and therapeutic services while helping her patients achieve their oral health goals.

Andrea is Velscope Certified to provide patients with the most comprehensive oral cancer screening; is highly skilled in Arestin placement, a locally administered antibiotic used in the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease; and is certified to administer local anesthesia to help with patient comfort during treatment.

I started in dentistry right out of high school in the US Navy. After finishing my contract, I returned and worked at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education Training for 8 years, learning all aspects of dentistry. During this time, I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. The part I enjoy the most about dentistry, is establishing relationships with the patients as well as making a difference in their lives.
