Dr. Matthew Katz was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 1998. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Barksdale Air Force Base while serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Dr. Katz served for 5 years before moving to the Atlanta area in 2003.
Dr. Katz spent the next 8 years working as an associate dentist becoming an expert in many aspects of dentistry. He enjoys all aspects, but what sets him apart from others is his ability to offer more services than most general dentists. After being trained by Oral Surgeons, he is highly skilled at extracting all teeth including impacted wisdom teeth with mild to moderate sedation. Dr. Katz is also well trained at placing and restoring dental implants. If a beautiful smile make over is what you desire, his porcelain veneer and crown skills are second to none.
Dr. Katz met his wife, Gina, while serving in the military. They were married in 2004 and their daughter, Avery, was born in 2006. He also has two wonderful stepsons, Hunter and Chase. Most of his time is spent with family and friends. Dr. Katz enjoys playing golf, working out, listening to music and watching all sorts of sporting events.
Dr. Fred Leydecker III received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Buffalo School Of Dental Medicine. He then completed an advanced General Practice Residency at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo. Early in his career, he returned to UB as an Associate Clinical Instructor. Dr. Leydecker continually advances his training by attending seminars in all aspects of practice. His current areas of interest include advanced implant placement and bone grafting techniques.
After his residency, Dr. Leydecker practiced for nineteen years in his own private practice in Western New York. Years of experience and advanced training has made Dr. Leydecker an expert in all phases of comprehensive dentistry. In addition to routine care and cosmetic treatments, Dr. Leydecker has worked extensively with full mouth rehabilitation, root canals, and implant placement and restoration. Coupled with Dr.Katz surgical experience, Infinite Smiles can provide a full range of services that other practices would have to refer elsewhere.
Dr. Leydecker has been married to his wife Tricia for thirty years. They have two children, both living in Atlanta. Victoria is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Connor a graduate of Emory University. Dr. Leydecker enjoys spending time at home with family,friends and many pets. His hobbies include golf, car clubs, travel and watching sporting events.
