Our Carmel office (located in The Village of West Clay) was designed and built by Dr. Miller. The professional design is decorated with Dr. Miller's race memorabilia, with walls of fame and a reception area showcasing one of his Crest Racecars. The Carmel office is truly unique to any dental office.
Dr. Jack M. Miller is the co-founder of Indy Dental Group and a veteran three-time Indianapolis 500 race car driver, earning him the title 'The Racing Dentist.' He is also a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry, an Eagle Scout, and a commercial rated pilot. Dr. Miller was born and raised here in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is considered one of the most recognized dentists in the world today with over 26 years of experience.
Dr. Miller has used his platform as an Indianapolis 500 race car driver to establish a national dental health care educational program, changing the face of dentistry here in Indiana and across the nation. Through Dr. Miller's racing/dental education efforts, he brings renewed positive energy about the importance of good dental health to people throughout America. His program has educated more than a million youths on the importance of dental health care. Whats more, Dr. Millers efforts have been sponsored by major dental health companies. He has traveled widely with this national dental health care education program while racing in the Indy Racing League.
Appearing before schools with his Indy race car to share his experiences, Dr. Miller has educated students nationwide about the benefits of good dental health. A talented speaker, Dr. Miller has been invited to lecture at nearly every dental school across the country, including both Indiana and Harvard University. His 'practice management' lecture was deemed by dental students as one of the 'most important lectures' during their education, and his expertise in practice management and business have made him a sought-after speaker for dental schools, dental associations, and dental companies. Dr. Miller 's unique blend of accomplishments in racing with his professional knowledge and skill in dentistry combine to provide a positive experience.
For many years, his presentations have resulted in better dental health habits for school children of all ages. They have also helped dental school students hone their skills for future patients and have inspired other dentists to provide the best possible care to patients and their communities. Many dentists across the country have actively participated in Dr. Miller's educational program and have provided dental care as part of it, coordinating their practices with Dr. Miller's appearances to result in a large and effective national outreach to youth. People enjoy his message of success in any effort and have been informed by him, in positive settings, about the importance of their own dental health.
The same theme continues in the Carmel office, where one of his Crest Indy Cars is mounted on the ceiling of the reception room and his race history memorabilia decorate the walls. Dr. Miller also enjoys being an accomplished commercial rated pilot and taking part in the activities his two children are involved in. He and his wife Dr. Lewis remain active in the racing industry with their son, who is quickly becoming a standout in go-cart racing. Dr. Miller is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Elizabeth B. Lewis is co-founder of Indy Dental Group. She has over 26 years of experience in general dentistry and is respected for her expertise in the field of comprehensive cosmetic and family dentistry. She has pioneered a path of excellence in both patient education and delivery of dental care.
Dr. Lewis received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1992. Born and raised in northern Indiana, she completed her undergraduate coursework at Indiana University in Bloomington, where she majored in biology. Her background and expertise have allowed her to develop a highly successful post-graduate associateship program.
Through the years, Dr. Lewis has shared her expertise with new dentists, offering them the opportunity to learn the latest trends in dentistry and practice management. Her reputation as a leader in quality dentistry reaches not only dental students and new graduates, but also to colleagues who seek her out for her experience and counsel. She has helped to train and educate many Indiana associate dentists on their journeys toward success, many of whom have gone on to own and operate their own private practices.
Dr. Lewis is passionate about providing the best possible dental care and using the latest technology and best products and treatments the world of dentistry has to offer. Today, she enjoys practicing at all her offices and is committed to providing the best comprehensive dental care to the entire family.
In her free time, Dr. Lewis enjoys reading and taking part in the activities of her two children. She and her husband, Dr. Miller, remain active in the racing industry with their son, who is quickly becoming a standout in go-cart racing.
Dr. Jessica Bolander is experienced in providing comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on family and preventative dentistry. She has years of experience in private, corporate, and military (United States Air Force) dentistry.
Dr. Bolander comes to Indy Dental Group from the Fortville/Fishers area. She graduated from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky in 2001 with a B.S. in biology. She then graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005. To ensure that her patients receive the highest quality care available, she continues to learn through continuing education courses. She is very passionate about maintaining the oral health of patients and their families and will take the time to educate you about your condition and provide you with comprehensive dental care that always has a gentle touch.
When not in the office, Dr. Bolander enjoys spending time with her two little girls, her family, and her friends. She always looks forward to meeting new faces and ensuring a pleasant visit by providing high quality, comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on preventative care.

Absolutely terrible. They always over treat their patients. They told my sister she had gingivitis and when we switched dentists they said she didn't have anything. They made my dad get 3 root canals only to find out he didn't even have a problem. Don't go here.

Absolutely terrible. I don't know how this place can have such high reviews. A small bit of my tooth fell off so I went there and they told me I needed 2 root canals. I got a root canal on one of those teeth and it was done so poorly that I had to go back and get another. That one also failed and I ended up getting a tooth infection. When I went there they said I needed to pull out my tooth because I had a broken root. They pulled out my teeth and "put in" anesthesia. It wasn't even strong enough and when they pulled out my teeth it hurt so bad I thought I was going to throw up. Fast forward a month and I go in for a check up and they say I need ANOTHER root canal AND I need to get my tooth pulled out because there was a "visible root". Today I go in to get my "visible root" pulled out. You would think they would take some tweezers and yank it out because it would've grown through my gums or something. They cut open my gums and dug around with anesthesia and there WAS no root. This place keeps scamming you and they have a history of taking advantage of people who can't speak English well. DON'T COME HERE!

I have always had anxiety about dental work but Indy dental group has changed that for me. The staff is so friendly and walk you through every step to help you feel comfortable. Pricing is fair and explained beforehand. I finally feel relieved that I've found my dental group, I'll never go anywhere else!

The staff at Indy Dental takes super good care of me, my wife, daughters, and now even my grandkids. Dr Lewis - Miller has been treating me for 20 plus years and are fantastic at keeping all of my teeth intact and the latest technology in same day crowns. Plus her new scan machines do everything in record time with minimal pain! (Just the numbing shot, Ha!) I'm a believer in Indy Dental

I am so glad I found this place! After struggling to find a dentist, my insurance company actually recommended Indy Dental Group to me. I needed some fillings done and was super anxious, but Dr. Lawson and her staff assured me that I'd be okay. Even after feeling a little lightheaded and queasy, the team was ready with a cool washcloth and a trash bin just incase I passed out and/or got sick. Dr. Lawson explained what she was doing and frequently checked up on me to make sure I was doing okay. I definitely recommend this place, especially if dental procedures make you anxious!

After being butchered by a dentist in WA state, hadn't been back to see a dentist in 3 years. We landed in Carmel IN last year and finally started making calls to find a dentist that I thought would take good care of me. I ended up talking with Nicole who understood exactly what I needed and said Dr. Lawson and Erin would be awesome in my treatment. Only because of Nicole did I even set foot in this place. We got my numbing issues figure out by trial and error which they happily and patiently took their time figuring out so I wasn't uncomfortable and screaming cuss words for all to hear. Took numerous visits and time, but my cavities are fixed and my crowns are replaced and I now have a dentist that I can go to knowing I don't have to be afraid. If you have issues like me, Call and talk with Nicole and tell her you'll have what Cindy had!

I have been coming here for years but this latest experience was not the best. I came in and needed a regular teeth cleaning and was serviced by Shayla and Dr. Louis. This is my first negative impression on the staff here and from this visit the hospitality was awful. I made an appointment to come in a couple of days later to get some cavities filled and was serviced by Dr.Lawson and Courtney and my experience was 1000 times better. If I do come here I would definitely recommend them because not only were they friendly they made my visit more pleasant and I am very appreciative for that.

I have nothing but great things to say about this practice. They are professional, compassionate, and provide excellent care. They educate you as you go through your dental care, which helps you stay well informed. I have had bad experiences with dental care in the past, and it is refreshing to have such a wonderful experience with Indy Dental Group in Carmel. I highly recommend them for you and your family.
