Mandy is the treatment and billing coordinator. Originally from Indiana, She moved to Columbia in 2020. Mandy attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in the International Business College and received a Legal Assistant Degree, as well as her Dentistry for Expanded Functions. With Mandys vast experience in dentistry, including office management, she understands the importance of a well managed practice, focused on an exceptional patient experience.
When not working, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, and two young adult children, a son and daughter, she tries to see as much as possible. She also enjoys exploring, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and their pups.
Michelle is our hygiene coordinator. Originally from Lexington, SC, she earned a Pre-Dental and Pre-Dental Hygiene certificate from Midlands Technical College, as well as adegree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from Ashford University. Michelle was previously a dental assistant, which coupled with her front office experience, gives her the foundation to facilitate in all scheduling and treatment needs.
Kelsey is our dental hygienist, who relocated to the Columbia area in April 2021. Originally from Indiana, she earned her BS in dental hygiene from Indiana University of Fort Wayne. Passionate abut oral health, Kelsey makes it her top priority to educate patients on preventive dentistry, as well as helping to uncover their short and long term goals for their mouth.
Whitney is a certified dental assistant. Originally from Ridgeway, SC, she graduated fromLugoff-Elgin High school in 2009, then attended Midlands Technical Collegegraduating in 2013with an Associates degree in Applied Science in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting. Whitney has worked in various areas of the dental office including front desk and office management, but ultimately realized her passion is for dental assisting, working directly with the doctor and patients to achieve their necessary and desired treatment.
Shandra is a certified dental assistant. Originally from Columbia, SC, she graduated from Blythewood High School and did her dental assisting training with Fortis College. Shandra has been a dental assistant since 2011 and loves her career. One thing Shandra enjoys is making sure patients truly understand their diagnosis and the treatment procedures. She feels you should never be too busy to explain things thoroughly, so the patients understand what they are committing to.
Jennifer is our business manager. Originally from Columbia, SC, she graduated from Irmo High School, Midlands Technical College as a Certified Dental Assistant and the Medical University of South Carolina with a bachelors in health science. She has been in dentistry since 1996, and is passionate about dentistry. Her goal is to provide patients with an exceptional experience, where they can truly discover their individual oral health goals, and reach them. Her priority is ensuring the practice runs smoothly for both the team and the patients.
