Dr. Kera Collier is a native of Oak Cliff in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Florida A&M University and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2009. She is a member of the National Dental Association and the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Collier takes pride in offering Quality Dental Care in a comfortable atmosphere to everyone she serves, from the young to the 'young at heart'. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and when she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Collier loves spending time with her family, serving with her Concord Church family, working out, and swing-out dancing.
Joanna was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Skyline High School in 2003, and during that time she met her high school sweetheart who is now her loving, supportive husband. Together they have 5 wonderful children. She loves to attend their school activities and cheer them on towards the finish line or sliding to home plate. She has been in the dental field for nearly 8 years and has worked closely with Dr. Collier for over 3 years.
Some fun facts about Joanna: Her favorite color is red. She can watch her favorite movie Armageddon a million times and still cry at the end. She loves to cook, especially on Thanksgiving Day, and is always looking to try new recipes. And as long her favorite drink Dr. Pepper is around, she is good (Brushing and flossing immediately following of course, lol)!
Izzy, as she prefers to be called, was born in Dallas, and raised in Grand Prairie, TX. She has been in the dental field for 6 years and has worked with Dr. Collier for 5 years. Izzy loves helping patients, especially knowing that it can make a difference in their life.
When not caring for patients at Indigo, Izzy loves dressing up to go out with friends and family, including her twin sister who is a medical assistant. She gets really excited around the holidays, and her favorite hobby is shopping! Youd win her over instantly if you get her anything that is pink, which is her favorite color.
Desiree was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Dallas, Texas when she was 17 years old. She has worked with Dr. Collier since shortly after starting in the dental field over 5 years ago. She really loves putting a smile on patients faces at every visit.
Desiree has 2 beautiful children and loves spending time with them. She also loves to travel, especially back home to LA. Like Dr. Collier, her favorite color is purple, and she has a unique love for cacti or anything with a cactus on it! Check out her crocs when you see her!

Dentist doesn't communicate well with her patients especially when it comes to referring a patient out to a specialist. There is no explanation she couldn't do the work or why she recommend you to a specialist.

I have not even left the office yet and I'm thoroughly impressed with my experience so far. The ambience is great, the music is WONDERFUL, the staff is very friendly, warm, and inviting. It took me a while to find a Black dentist and I'm glad I was able to come to this establishment. Earlier this year, I was trying to become a patient here, but they weren't accepting new patients. They reached out to me in MARCH to set up my appointment and I jumped on it so fast. I will be back every six months like clockwork. Dr. Kera has a permanent patient in me.

I am new to the DFW are relocating from Kansas City, Mo. I was in search of an African American dentist that was in network with my insurance . And my God I found the best one. And her being a woman was even sweeter!!! After reading Dr. Colliers credentials and the positive reviews, I was convinced she was it!!! Took a while to keep my schedule due to my conflicting work schedule but it finally happened! And I was not disappointed. Everyone made my experience truly one of a kind. From the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Collier. You all have the greatest patient care that I have ever had. They were truly kind and patient despite me being rather dramatic, lol. I still giggle from the disbelief. In all seriousness, my visit was life changing. Previously, I had been visiting a dentist in KCMO for many years who did not fully address the concerns of my oral health. Dr. Collier and the hygienist, Taleah (forgive me if I misspelled her name)were very knowledgeable. They explained the very detail of the procedures I would need to prevent further damage. I am forever grateful for this team. As long as I reside in Fort Worth, I will gladly make the drive to Cedar Hill. Thank you all for what you do.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The staff there made me feel so comfortable. It was like I was at home or over a friend's house. When I talk to someone that has a problem with their grill. I'm going to suggest going to Indigo Dentistry.

She is the best. The only dentist ever in my life that called the day after my daughter had some considerable treatment to see how she was doing. I 100% recommend her! Her and her WHOLE team from the front office gals to her assistants are very professional and attentive!

Dr. Collier is amazing! She is straight forward and down to earth. I have always been terrified of the dentist but she and her staff are so warm and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable and safe. She gave me my treatment plan and has been wonderful! I recommend her to EVERYONE!

Dr. Collier and her staff are absolutely the best. Everyone is very professional and ensure that my dental experience is pleasant each and every time. Everything is explained to you from your dental benefits to up keep of teeth until your next visit. As a client and a member in the health care inustry explaining these key points are essential to a patient's success. Dr. Collier is patient, respectful, caring and most importantly passionate about about what she does, having visited there 3 times within 2months and more so there is an absolute consistency with their service(s). Walking into the Indigo Dentistry right from the front desk , i can already feel the serenity and professionalism. There's a touch of excellence everywhere. Secondly, Ms. Lineia (Hygienist) she is just the perfect match that really compliments Dr.Collier, its not surprising to me because "True Leaders raise great followers". Ms. Lincia worked with me as well and i can tell you that you will love to visit the dentist regularly with the way she cared for every piece of my tooth. Ms. Lincia was truly amazing. Ms. Joanna (Office manager) department knows her job well and she was also very courteous from day one i stepped in there, she will break down your payment to you and help you understand every bit of it without a frown on her face. she is just different because i have visited some other dentistry that i said to my self if this is the way people are being treated, i would rather keep my money. But working with Ms. Joanna made it simple and easy. Ms. Jamesha at the front was also full of light. Overall the services here is excellent and served with an excellent spirit.
