Jessica attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and later went on to work both as an assistant and a hygienist at a periodontal office during her time in Charlotte. Jessica and her husband moved back home to Greenville, SC in 2018 with their dog, Willie.
Jessica loves that oral health care is an integral part of overall health and when she works with a patient, she likes to help educate them on their oral health. She empowers her patients to make the best decisions regarding their oral health. Over the years, she has formed bonds with many of her patients and honored to be recognized as a caregiver they trust. Patients should expect a thorough and gentle experience with Jessica. In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking with Willie, and spending time with friends and family.
This depends on the method of sedation you choose. With laughing gas, you will feel light-headed, giggly, and relaxed, but you will be fully conscious and aware of your surroundings. You will also feel less discomfort during treatment.
Oral conscious sedation and IV sedation will usually make you feel groggy and out of it. You will likely fall asleep, and probably wont remember much about your procedure. However, you will not be unconscious, and you can still be woken and respond to commands.
