Jessica attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and later went on to work both as an assistant and a hygienist at a periodontal office during her time in Charlotte. Jessica and her husband moved back home to Greenville, SC in 2018 with their dog, Willie.
Jessica loves that oral health care is an integral part of overall health and when she works with a patient, she likes to help educate them on their oral health. She empowers her patients to make the best decisions regarding their oral health. Over the years, she has formed bonds with many of her patients and honored to be recognized as a caregiver they trust. Patients should expect a thorough and gentle experience with Jessica. In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking with Willie, and spending time with friends and family.
This depends on the method of sedation you choose. With laughing gas, you will feel light-headed, giggly, and relaxed, but you will be fully conscious and aware of your surroundings. You will also feel less discomfort during treatment.
Oral conscious sedation and IV sedation will usually make you feel groggy and out of it. You will likely fall asleep, and probably wont remember much about your procedure. However, you will not be unconscious, and you can still be woken and respond to commands.

Just became a new patient here. Courtney did my X-rays and gave me a cleaning. She did a great job and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Michael gave me some great advice regarding my long term dental care. Excited to have found my new dentist office.

I have to start by saying I have a complete irrational fear of the dentist. This has manifested from traumatic childhood experiences. So I have not been to a dentist in over a decade. Just the thought of making the appointment gave me severe anxiety. So all that to say I was extremely nervous. I chose Indigo due to the fact that they offer sedation methods and I really thought that I may need it due to my severe anxiety. Thankfully I did not need it. Jessica the Dental hygienist was absolutely amazing. So nice and understanding. I obviously had a large amount of shame about my lack of dental care over the years. They did not make me feel embarrassed at all. Dr. Matthew was very kind and made sure to answer all my questions without making me feel upset or overwhelmed. They explained everything too me and didn't force me into anything. I highly recommend them if you are in the need for a dentist. The office is very nice and everyone I had any interaction with from checking in to checking out was amazing.

The best dental office in Greenville by far. The staff is kind, upbeat and honest. They take a more conservative approach to my dental care which I thoroughly appreciate. Both Dr. Meagan and Dr. Michael are amazing as are the hygienists: Jessica and Courtney. I recommend all my friends and family to Indigo Dental - the staff is top notch and the decor/vibe is so beautiful and relaxed!

I got a cleaning done by Courtney and she was so gentle and great!! My teeth feel so clean. Dr. Michael did my exam and he was very descriptive and took time to polish a filling that was bothering me. The office is very modern, clean, and organized. 10/10 experience overall.
