Being a Pediatric Dentist has fulfilled a lifelong goal for Dr. Erin Fuson Phillips. In the third grade, her childhood pediatric dentist sparked a love of dentistry and from that moment on, she knew she wanted to be a dentist!
Dr. Erin Phillips graduated with honors from Indiana University with a degree in Biology. She completed her dental training at Indiana University School of Dentistry, followed by a pediatric dental residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Starting with her specialty-training residency, Dr. Phillips has had the opportunity to care for children with a variety of dental needs throughout her career. This has included extensive training for emergency/trauma management, children with special medical needs, medically compromised patients, conscious sedation and dental treatment performed under general anesthesia. Dr. Phillips has staff privileges at Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital at St. Vincent and St. Vincent Carmel where she performs dental treatment on patients under general anesthesia when necessary.
Dr. Phillips is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American College of Dentists, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and Indianapolis District Dental Society. She is also a member, and past president, of the Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Phillips has been listed on Indianapolis Monthly's Top Dentists rankings multiple years.
Her other love in life is her family! She and her husband, Adrian, have two sons in elementary school (Quinn and Grant). Two pets complete their family: Sullivan, a Pembrooke Welsh Corgi named after Dr. Phillips hometown, and Jasper, a very large and loving cat they adopted from Humane Society of Indianapolis.
Dr. Kira Stockton was born and raised in Winchester, IN. After graduating valedictorian from her high school, Dr. Stockton attended Butler University, where she graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated with distinction. She received her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Stockton continues to enrich her dental education through several Continuing Education courses and seminars each year.
Dr. Stockton is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and Indianapolis District Dental Society. She is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor fraternity.
As part of her pediatric dental training, Dr. Stockton is confident in treating the dental needs of infants, children, teenagers and patients with medical, physical and mental special needs. Dr. Stockton has staff privileges at Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital at St. Vincent and St. Vincent Carmel, where she can treat her patients under general anesthesia, when necessary. Dr. Stockton maintains her certification in CPR and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
Dr. Stockton lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Matthew, and their two sons, Harris and Emmett. The whole Stockton family enjoys watching Butler basketball games and creating new recipes in the kitchen. Dr. Stockton loves giving talks about oral hygiene and prevention to small groups including daycares, parent groups and elementary schools, and welcomes these opportunities!
