Growing up in Fort Collins, Colorado, Dr. Tyler Thomas has always striven to provide the best care possible. He graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Right after graduation, he attended University of Connecticut School of Dentistry. While there, he saw the importance of a comprehensive approach to oral health. With that recognition, he furthered his education in prosthodontics at University of Connecticut, earning his certificate in prosthodontics and in the surgical placement of dental implants. Dr. Thomas has a Masters in Dental Science. He is fully board certified and a diplomate of the American College of Prosthodontists. He also serves on the board of the local dental society and is editor of the Indianapolis District Dental Society Dateline publication.
When Dr. Thomas is not practicing dentistry, he loves spending time with his wife and three young kids. He enjoys all types of sports, biking, the culinary arts, and volunteering at his local church youth group.
Established in 1979, Dr. R Steven Lehman set out to provide premium Prosthodontic and dental care. Over the past four decades, our practice has evolved to serve patients in all of Indiana as well as nationwide. In 2017, Dr. Lehman entrusted the practice to Dr. Tyler Thomas, also a prosthodontist. He continues to craft and perfect the smiles of his patients and uses the most advance technology available.

Indiana Restorative Dentistry is top-notch. Dr. Thomas and his assistant, Courtney, are phenomenal. They are painstaking in their efforts, taking no short cuts. Special x-ray precautions are affected; they shape molds until exact. Patients are treated as family members from the first visit on. I highly recommend Indiana Restorative Dentistry.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Thomas and the staff at Indiana Restorative Dentistry. From the moment you enter the office to the time you leave you are treated like you are the most special patient they've seen all day. Everyone is friendly, caring, understanding, and compassionate. I saw Dr. Thomas this week because a crown popped off while I was flossing one evening. I was fit into his schedule the very next day. He tried to do the minimum to fix my problem, but the end result was his having to pull the tooth. He showed me the x-rays and explained everything to me. The decision was completely mine, and I put my mouth into his very capable hands. Had it not been for the empty space between two teeth, I never would have known I'd had a tooth pulled. Dr. Thomas even called me personally the next evening to see how I was doing. He did not leave the call up to his staff as most places would. Dr. Lehman had been my dentist for more than 25 years. Upon retirement he wanted his replacement to share his demeanor, skills, sense of humor, and compassion for his patients. Dr. Lehman will always be missed, but Dr. Thomas completely fits the bill to carry on the practice the way it was meant to be run.

After 50 years of enduring bad and embarassing teeth, fillings, bridges, a partial plate, and extractions I was happy to know that implants were available. I was Dr. Thomas's 1st full mouth patient. It has been 3.5 yrs since the procedure. I remain delighted with my chewing ability, smile, and to be free of dental troubles! Trusting someone to do such extensive work in your mouth is a very big concern. Dr. Thomas's self confidence is felt and immediately is relaxing. He let's you know what he is planning to do, why, how and gives you the opportunity to ask any question anytime during the process. I gave him my full trust and actually fell asleep during an extensive extraction of many teeth with only novocaine. I still contact Dr. Thomas to thank him because he transformed my life.

Dr. Tyler and his staff are excellent. He is thorough, knowledgeable and a perfectionist. I broke a tooth one evening and he made arrangements the next morning (on his day off) to put a temporary on. The final crown that was made is perfect. They have their own lab located in their office so their is minimal wait time. He's the best dentist!!
