Dr. Fainman practiced dentistry since 2008, prior to establishing Indian Rock Dental, Dr Fainman worked in several private dental offices in New York metropolitan area and Connecticut. During this time, she has gained ample experience in cosmetic and general dentistry. Dr Fainman is practicing conservative dentistry; the goal is to preserve healthy tooth structure for a lifetime. It is minimally invasive model of treatment. The aim is to respect and preserve existing healthy tooth structure while restoring it to proper function and esthetics.
Graduated from City University of New York, Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYU) one of the nations top and oldest dental schools. NYU taught Dr. Fainman innovative, cutting edge dentistry, it has the countrys prestigious professors. NYU also taught Dr. Fainman top clinical skills in all aspects of general dentistry, from restorative dentistry to oral surgery. As an NYU dental student, she participated in a local outreach program. She went out in mobile care van throughout New York City, and provided dental care to public school children in underserved areas, and local senior citizen centers.
Following dental school she completed rigorous residency program at Maimonides Medical Center. The wealth of knowledge that she acquired in a residency program was instrumental in improving her clinical skills. Dr. Fainman performed many complex procedures, she has done rotations throughout the hospital clinics; pediatric operating room, anesthesia rotation in OR, and hospitals emergency department. Some of the areas where she broadened her skills were; implants, periodontal surgery, endodontic, oral surgery, restorative, pediatric dentistry, and sedation.
In addition to practicing in New York metropolitan area, Dr. Fainman continued the education and training by attending numerous post-graduate courses, she has completed a Mini-Residency Program at the Dental Implant Center at Montefiore Medical Center. The program thought dentalplanning the implanttreatment,implant diagnosis,impant surgical procedures. It covered covered bone grafting, implant site management,successful treatment of compromised sites andcomplications.

I've always been scared of dentists but this place changed my mind. The doctor really cares and is very meticulous about her work, gives great advice, always has your best interest in mind, is very patient and has great bedside manners. It doesn't feel like going to the dentist at all. I did a veneer here (I'm very happy with it, excellent work) and I come regularly for cleanings and check ups and never had a complaint.

I am doing something I rarely do as many of you know. I'm updating and retracting my previous post. I could not have been more wrong. I wrote m y previous review after a long stay in the hospital which soured my opinion of medical practices generally and increased my stress, at the time. I came into the practice with a lot of work to be done, maybe too much work. 3 Root canals in one sitting and a few were infected. It was a lot of work for the doctor and nurse. I had one infection which was deep and I knew it, we went back and forth and he did a thorough job. Upon filling the holes with cement, I knew that there was still pain there even though I was under anesthesia. The staff and dentist could not have been more helpful or friendly. I had a trip a day later and flying after 3 root canals is not a wise idea. The infection did not go away and I had to see an emergency dentist at my destination. They did not have a qualified dentist to handle my needs. Meanwhile, Indian Rock prescribed me BETTER anti-biotics than the dentist's in Colorado and my pain went away fast. They also set up an expedited time to some and see what they could do to help me even though the place was fully booked. I even had to cancel on them because I was hospitalized 2 times in the following weeks. Overall, I have to thank the staff for being kind, professional, and hope that they ignore my previous post which was pain and hospitals talking and not very rational. I now have an appointment to see if we can crush the remaining problem. THANK YOU INDIAN ROCK and your WONDERFULSTAFF and the acumen of a truly professional doctor.

When I needed a new dentist, they were able to see me within a few weeks when other area practices told me they only had openings for new patients several months from now due to the backlog from the pandemic. Since then, I have had several visits and multiple procedures and I have been continuously impressed with the demeanor and skill of the office staff, hygienists, and the dentist. They have handled all my insurance claims with ease. I have recommended Indian Rock Dental to many of my friends and coworkers.

Best Dentist I've ever been to! Kind, caring gentle & stress free!! Even the environment is relaxing! The staff: Jayme & Megan are welcoming & friendly. Rachel really cares about her patients, it makes a huge difference. My daughter loves her, and can't stop raving about her. I feel the same way. It's always a pleasure to visit! I went for an extraction last week, and it was painless. In fact it was so painless, I had to remind myself I even went for an extraction! I kept forgetting! Great dentist she negotiates the prices down .I got 4 crowns put in paid 1400.00 for all four .she had negotiated the price down to this and saved me 1000.00 dollars plus friendly staff and when you call if you have a emergency they usually get you in a fast to treat you.Best dentist ever if you have fears she's the one to go to very gentle and caring
