Indian Falls Dental Centers years of experience have led us to dental labs and prosthetic technicians of demonstrated superiority. Also, when needed for optimum care, we are a gateway to a like-minded referral network of dental specialists that include highly trained oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists, pediatric dentists and orthodontists.
Indian Falls Dental Center serves all areas of general dentistry. From simple teeth whitening to full mouth rehabilitation with porcelain crowns and/or veneers, our practice has the knowledge and experience to meet all of your esthetic and functional needs. Our two hygienists have been in the dental field for a combined 51 years and are second to none in their healing abilities. We provide care in the areas of implants, crowns, bridges, complete dentures, partial dentures, restorations (fillings), root canals, extractions, periodontal therapy and pediatric dentistry. At Indian Falls Dental Center, we always use the best materials available, and treat every patient as we would our own family.
Dr. Dave founded Indian Falls Dental Center at its present location in North East, Maryland in 1990, after having already established himself in the Upper Chesapeake area for fifteen years, practicing in Elkton and Chestertown.
A Marylander all his life, Dr. Dave was born in Frederick County and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. He went on to earn his DDS degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore.
Since graduation, he has made continual post-doctoral training an absolute priority, studying extensively under the luminaries in the field, from Key Biscayne, Florida to Seattle, Washington, and many points in between.
Dr. Dave is well respected within the community and was recently nominated to serve on the Board of Trustees for Cecil College which is now partnering with the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is delighted to have the opportunity to serve the residents of Cecil County and considers it a wonderful place to live and practice.
In his spare time, Dr. Dave enjoys spending time with family (he has been blessed with a wife of more than 30 years, four delightful children, and even grandchildren now). He also enjoys reading, exercising, being outdoors (ie. kayaking, biking, running, etc.), home maintenance, playing some music and teaching Sunday school at Grace Bible Chapel, in the Rising Sun area.

Indian Falls DC is A++. Omgoodness the staff is above amazing. It starts with Janet who greets you with sunshine, Amanda, who takes all your information is bubbly and sweet. Brenda, my hygienist is so kind, she explains everything, and she is super thorough. Dr. Dave Is gracious, and calm, and so incredibly nice. I can't say enough about the quality of the staff and service. I even got a call the next day from Brenda just checking on me...... Major bonus points for Amanda and Brenda..... they sang to the music the entire time..........They were speaking my love language.

I have been seeing Dr. Leatherwood (and Dr. Price since he came on board) for more than twenty-five years. They and their hygienists are professional, courteous, and practice painless dentistry. I continue to use Indian Falls Dental Center, despite having moved to Delaware ten years ago. They're worth the drive.

Dr. Adam has a passion for dentistry and it shows in his level of enthusiasm, knowledge and skill. As a life-long dental phobic, it's due to the exceptional caring and patience of Dr. Adam and his top notch staff that I am able to sit in the chair relatively relaxed and totally pain free. I have been going to Dr. Leatherwood for over 35 years. The addition of Dr. Price to the staff has been the icing on the cake as far as a visit to the dentist. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Brenda has been cleaning my teeth for years and always does excellent job. Wendy handles the front desk and always has a friendly greeting, along with a beautiful smile. You won't be disappointed if you choose Indian Falls!

Of all the dentists that have worked on my smile, none have given more thorough, superior care than what I receive at Indian Falls Dental Center from Dr. Adam and his team. None of my previous dentists have examined or checked anything other than my teeth. At Indian Falls, they also examine your jaw, glands, lymph nodes, and muscles in your neck. Dr. Adam and his staff are very patient and sensitive to my needs (and teeth), as they are to my wife's and daughter's as well. My daughter is 8 years old and enjoys her visits to the dentist and takes pride in being recognized in the No Cavity Club. The dentists and hygienists of Indian Falls go beyond your dental health and seek to make a personal connection each and every visit with each of their patients. This contributes to the total package you receive at Indian Falls. If you are looking for a dentist, you won't be disappointed with Dr. Adam and his staff and you will never want to go anywhere else.

We are another family that drives over an hour to go to Indian Falls Dental Center. I have been going there as long as I can remember--from early childhood--and now my husband and all our children are delighted to go there. They are actually excited about going to the dentist! And it's a very relaxing experience even though I struggle with gingivitis and that is not fun, but I don't dread going because they are very kind about it while giving me helpful treatment suggestions. We live in Wilmington and there are many dentists we could choose from, but we've gone to Indian Falls even when they were out of network for us. One of the things I appreciate most is that they are very honest, very kind, and very good about seeing what is going to be covered by insurance, etc., and incorporating that into their treatment suggestions. They also have many good ideas about how to improve dental health at home. And they are FANTASTIC with terrified small children. It is a great blessing to be able to go to a dentist that remembers us from one visit to another and that we can trust.

Since some of my past experiences with dental procedures had been less than wonderful I was kind of apprehensive about getting back in a dental chair. After relocating to this area, a few different people recommended Indian Falls Dental Center so I finally went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a checkup. Within minutes of entering the office each member of the Indian Falls team contributed to alleviating my apprehension. From front desk to hygienist and assistants, it was obvious that each person demonstrates a highly professional, yet personable manner that puts their patients at ease. It was interesting to notice how they all seemed to work really well together, creating a positive team atmosphere. At the conclusion of my visit I met with Dr. Adam who took time for a thorough examination and reviewed all findings, demonstrating and explaining everything. In the process, Dr. Adam addressed all my concerns and made reasonable recommendations. He took a conservative, caring approach to outline a path toward improving my dental health, inspiring a high level of confidence in his professional judgment and ability. One usually doesn't expect pain-free and pleasant to characterize dental work but I've found my return visits to Indian Falls Dental Center for additional procedures and restoration have all been just that - with the best possible experiences and outcomes anyone could hope for when sitting in a dental chair. My wife has also now had parallel positive experiences with Dr. Dave and the Indian Falls Dental team helping her smile. If you're at all apprehensive like I was, go ahead and make the call to Indian Falls. You'll really be glad you did!
