Dr. Danny Nakhla, DDS has been in the dental field for over 10 years. He graduated from UCLA with his Bachelors of Science degree in molecular, cell, and developmental biology before continuing his education at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
Though he finished his required formal education, Dr. Nakhla is dedicated to continuously expanding his knowledge of the dental field, taking classes regularly to master the latest techniques and procedures. He is passionate about dentistry, and takes pride in using the latest in dental technology to provide personalized, comfortable and convenient dental services to patients of all ages.
Jerri brings 24 years of dental field experience to the Independence Family Dentistry team. She takes pride in seeing people smile, and loves assisting patients with their dental needs. In her free time, Jerri can be found spending time with her family, listening to music or camping.
Sherri has been with the Independence Family Dentistry team since November of 2013, and loves being able to help people and give them a great smile. Sherri is happily married with three lovely, crazy children, and also coaches the Boone County cheerleading team.
Vickie brings over 17 years of dentistry experience to the team, and has a tremendous passion for acting as a caregiver and successfully treating patients. Vickies interests include collecting cookie jars, dancing and spending time with her family.
Mary Anne has nine years of experience in the dental field. She moved to Kentucky five years ago, upon completion of dental hygienist training at Harry Georgetown Technical College in Conway, S.C. Mary Anne was drawn to the field due to her desire to help patients that are scared of the dentist realize that dental work is nothing to fear. In her free time, she can be found crafting, traveling or helping on her aunts alpaca farm.
Julie is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, and brings with her over 11 years of experience as a dental hygienist. When not in the office, Julie loves traveling and spending time with her 19-month-old.
Shari is a graduate of the Lincoln College of Technology. She loves getting to know the patients, and takes pride in helping them face their fears of the dentist. Shari has a variety of interests, including playing Nintendo and taking care of her German Shepard, Bullet, and pet corn snake, Remy.

Excellent staff and modern dental equipment - X-rays and amazing cameras. Everyone professional and very friendly. Dr. Masters is my dentist and he discovered I had a cracked tooth during a routine cleaning. Preventive treatment was to crown it before it actually broke in half so I had it done. They create permanent crowns in their facility - was there about 1.5 hours and it was done. Highly recommend Independence Family Dentistry and Doctor Josh Masters - and his assistant Kim.

Appt. worked out well, highly recommend the nitric oxide; had two upper back teeth extracted(31 & 32) initially very little pain but 2 Tylenol 500mg. every 6 hours helps. Highly recommend !

Dr Masters and his group made feel comfortable before and during my crown procedure. I was terrified, for lack of a better word. I recommend them to anyone who gets jittery at the dentist :)

Everything was greet. I received extensive dental procedures lasted all day under sedation. One day out I've had very little pain only my lips. Definitely recommend!

I am a new patient and saw Dr. Masters for a broken tooth today. I have had a fear of the dentist for a long time and my experience today was wonderful. They were VERY calming, explained everything in detail, and made me as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure. I would highly recommend them!

I called the office & ask if they were accepting new patients the answer was sure, I told them that it has been yeeeeears since I have seen a dentist told them that the cap in my front tooth broke off & a few other things. They got me in with in 2 day's and they replaced this cap that same day & honestly it looks better than it ever did, they worked with me and my insurance. No one else would even talk to me, they made my Goofy looking situation very easy, Thank You All Very Much The Entire Staff Was Absolutely Awesome Thanks Again!!!!!!

First time there. My Mom is 94 and they were so good to her. Dr Patel examined her and the girl that did the X-rays was super, so sorry didn't get her name. Tall, pretty smile so sweet. Going to take good care of my Mom. I was pleased!

The dentist is not my favorite place. This was my first visit and everyone was exceptionally kind and friendly. They explained everything they were doing and truly took the time to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. I could not have asked for a better time and experience at the dentist.

I had an old crown come off, they got me in within an hour of contacting them and had it glued back on in no time. I've also had other crowns done there and the one appointment crown thing is great and painless. No more temporary crown and returning in two weeks, they make the crown there and you're done.
