Dr. Ulasik believes in serving people and helping to make her community a better place through dedicated work and dentistry is the perfect field for that goal. In particular, her favorite part of this job is being able to change someones life by helping them develop new confidence through a beautiful smile. After all, your outfit wont be complete without it!
After majoring in Biochemistry at San Francisco State University, Dr. Ulasik achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific. She has also completed an extensive range of advanced training beyond her traditional education, including a surgical implant course and a comprehensive two-year orthodontics program. Her continuing education covers hundreds of hours and a wide variety of different specialty dentistry services, including endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, esthetic restorations, and more she loves constantly learning and being able to build truly ideal treatment plans for her patients! She is also a certified Invisalign provider, member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI Fellowship) and Laser Certified.
Dr. Ulasik is from Frisco and is happily married to her husband. They have a beautiful baby daughter together. In her free time, she always enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, going to the park for a walk, swimming, visiting the lake, traveling, and simply enjoying nature.

Best dentist and staff in the DFW area. I was so scared of the dentist due to a past experience, however here the Doctor and staff made me feel comfortable and I truly did not feel any pain due to a tooth extraction. They deserve a 5 plus stars. Forever patient, Kashana

I am a super big baby when it comes to the dentist and have avoided them in the past. But this office is just so incredible patient and kind. From the front desk to the assistant and the doctor herself, everyone is amazing and I am so happy I found them! Highly recommend them.

I had worked with Independence Dental, since July/2021, and the Dr. Ulasilk and her staff are very professional, and the Dr. Ulasilk is caring, knowledgeable and awesome and she is professional, and She did so many Bone Graft surgery to my teeth, and Dr. Ulasilk did excellent job in treatment my teeth. Thanks to Independence Dental and I highly recommend this dentist office!!

I made an appointment here because it is closest to me, but after my first visit I realized it would be worth the drive even if I lived a ways away. I was suffering from some tooth pain, and the doctor saw me promptly to get me taken care of. They got me all fixed up that same day, and you can tell they truly care. The procedure was quick and I felt comfortable the entire time. This will definitely be my go to dental office from now on.

Let me preface this by stating before coming here I had a major fear of all things dentistry. It had been nearly 14 years since I had seen a dentist. My last dental experience was an all around painful experience so I delayed going back. The longer the delay the greater my fear and shame. I came to independence dental last year after working up the courage. I ended up having a panic attack during my cleaning which felt mortifying, but Dr. Ulasik was kind and patient. She walked me out of panic with some breathing exercises and took her time with the rest of the procedure quickly adjusting any time I've needed. I have been 4 times including for an emergency appointment since then and each time the staff has been out of this world. They've worked with my schedule, fought with my insurance, and helped me find my way back to good dental health. Super grateful!

I can't recommend this location enough. I recently visited Dr. Ulasik because of the pain that I was experiencing and really needed emergency care. She not only saw me the same day but made sure that I was 100% comfortable before/during/after she performed the surgical extraction and put an implant in. I didn't even notice how she pulled my tooth! Again, if you're looking for a dentist, then I highly recommend this location/dentist. The office is nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Started taking the entire family to Dr. Ulasik a couple of years ago, and we absolutely love her and her staff. She is very patient with my children (and me, lol), and she genuinely cares about my family. We never feel rushed, and any time I have questions about a procedure, she is happy to explain everything in detail. Her staff is the best!

I am new to Dr. Ulasik and have a long history of dental anxiety stemming from childhood. I've been to many gruff professionals that while good have had a not great bedside manner and often made me feel worse about the state of my teeth. With Dr. Ulasik there has been no such thing. She is fantastic, has a wonderful demeanor that really keeps you at your ears, and she has clearly demonstrated to me the mastery of her craft while dealing with a bridge for me. I would HIGHLY recommend her. Her team has been wonderfully accommodating as well, helping me with FSA concerns and even down to just making conversation. They are nice and very down to earth people. They have a life long patient in me now as far as I'm concerned!

I have been coming to Independence Dental for about three years now. I found them due to an unfortunate broken tooth and they were able to get me in straight away. Dr. Ulasik and staff are wonderful, very professional and make sure of your comfort at all times.
