Dr. Lori Kemmet is one of the first two doctors nationally to be awarded the Mastership in Neuromuscular Dentistry. I am incredibly proud of her dedication and hard work in the art and science of restorative dentistry. I enjoy having her as an instructor at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Bill Dickerson, founder of The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).
Dr. Kemmet has been instructing other dentists from around the world since 1998. She has taught almost all of the clinical courses offered at LVI. She currently instructs in the final clinical course which is a culminating course only achieved after taking six prior clinical courses. She loves sharing her clinical techniques and love for her profession with other dentists and their teams.
Dr. Kemmet speaks to dentists on a wide varietysubjects. She especially enjoys offering ideas in customer service. She appreciates great customer service and thinks the typical dental office experience is average at best. It all starts with connecting with the potential customers and the initial phone call. Dr. Kemmet believes there can be no missing link in the customers experience. She believes it is easy to set yourself apart from the crowd in this industry. She has been a speaker in Canada and the United States to audiences large and small.
In 2009, Dr. Kemmet was recognized at the LVI instructor meeting with the Journalist Award. Dr. Kemmet enjoys writing articles for publication as it relates to customer service and practice management.
I was raised in Wadena, Minnesota, and from a very young age I was drawn to peoples smiles. I have always wanted to help people feel better about smiling. To pursue my dream, I earned an undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and went on to dental school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. After dental school, I served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force using my skills as a dentist for three years.
In 1993, I opened my general dental practice in Boulder, Colorado. Then, in 1997, after years of running a successful practice, I found my love for cosmetic dentistry. Today, we focus almost exclusively on cosmetic dentistry and provide guests in our practice with incredible smiles on a daily basis.
In 1997, I met and studied with Dr. William Dickerson who founded The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI)*. Dr. Dickerson owns and operates a postgraduate teaching facility available to dentists. As a mentor and a friend, Bill helped me realize my talent as a cosmetic dentist. He furthered my own inspiration to provide great service and only materials I would place in my own mouth to my guests.
I enrolled in LVI in 1997 as a student to improve my skill as a cosmetic dentist. In 1998, I was asked to become one of the first instructors at LVI. Being an instructor has kept me up-to-date in the ever-improving world of dentistry and related technology. I teach several courses including Full Mouth Restoration. Teaching dentists from around the world in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry is one of the most satisfying things I do in my life. It brings me as much satisfaction as providing incredible smiles to the guests in my practice.
Some of you know I have been silently looking for the right person. Ive been very patient because my standards are high. I wanted this person to come from Minnesota and graduate from my Alma Mater. She had to be humble, kind, focused, detail-oriented, and have a passion for learning new paradigms in dentistry. This new addition had to be acknowledged by each of my team members, and above all, I had to be confident she would provide the high level of care that our clientele have come to appreciate at Incredible Smiles.With a vast bucket list like this, all anyone can do is hold it out to the universe and see what happens.
About six months ago, a beautiful lady came over to introduce herself as the new neighboring dentist. When I asked her where she was from, I curtailed my excitement. Was my dream coming true?! She grew up in Minnesota, went to the U of M, and my team instantly fell in love with her. After she left, Paige even said, You are going to hire her, arent you?
Dr. Priya Uppal attended undergraduate, graduate school, and residency at the University of Minnesota. She was a Minnesota Gopher for nine years! Priyas residency focused on comprehensive care, including placement of implants and treating special needs patients. She is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the Colorado Dental Association. Priya is skilled in crowns, veneers, implant placement, Invisalign, treating TMD and orofacial pain, and she is bringing the added talent of botox and fillers to Incredible Smiles.
Priya grew up in Brooklyn Park, a northwest suburb of Minneapolis. She enjoys hiking with her dog Louie, practicing yoga, cooking, and sampling various ethnic cuisines. Priya is no stranger to Boulder! She has lived in South Boulder for six years, a homeowner with her fianc Brett. She met Brett, a native Boulder man, in dental school.

We are committed to seeking out products and technology to continually expand our practice to the next level. We use digital x-ray technology which means there is approximately 80% less radiation compared with old x-ray method
This technology is new in dentistry. We employ this 3D format to allow us to optimally place dental implants for missing teeth. We take the optimal placement of implants very seriously, as a consumer you may want to select a dentist who employs this technology. The results of this scan are immediately available on our computer monitor. There is no need for you to see other dentists or x-ray facilities for your care. We meet all your dental needs in one location.
Your X ray is taken in less than a minute and is immediately available to our team for viewing on the computer screen in your private studio. This provides the highest level of detail available in x-rays today.This x-ray is utilized for our orthodontic planning.
In each of our private studios we have the capability of taking a full set of digital x-rays to completely assess your oral health. Digital X-ray technology is more environmentally sensitive than previous processes because it does not entail developing or processing x-ray film with hazardous chemicals that can threaten the water supply. Additionally, x-ray exposure is dramatically reduced, making it a safer choice for our guests.
Oral health and the appearance of your gum tissue help define your smile. We have sought out solid technology and well trained hygienists to support and maintain healthy gum tissue. Our hygienists are well trained. They offer antibiotic placement and lasers therapy to improve the health of gum-tissue.
Reshaping excessive or irregular gum tissue is an important aspect of achieving exceptional results. Lasers enhance tissue health, creating ideal tissue symmetry while performing cosmetic enhancements. This means your gum tissue will nicely compliment your incredible smile.
Florida Probe This software allows us to monitor your health from visit to visit. At each cleaning visit our hygienist measures the health of tissue at six locations around each tooth. This amazing customization of your hygiene care ensures early detection of problems and your ultimate oral health. Before proceeding with a cosmetic and/or functional enhancement, we want to allow for proper gum-tissue health.

As a PACE partner, we are monitored for compliance with the most stringent regulations when discarding hazardous materials. PACE partners are working to preserve Colorados environment through pollution prevention and waste reduction.

As most of us probably feel, I don't love going to the dentist...until now! Dr.Uppal is phenomenal at her job. She makes you feel comfortable and confident in not only your smile, but in the decisions you make in order to improve your smile. She explains how and why certain procedures need to be done and the effects of those procedures going forward for your overall health! I am not the kind of person who invests in anything without in depth research and knowledge of the pros and cons- and Dr. Uppal thoroughly stepped me through all of them. Everyone at Incredible Smiles is friendly and professional. I couldn't recommend them more! 10/10 happy customer with amazing teeth! Thank y'all!

I went to incredible smiles on a recommendation from a family member and I'm glad I did. I needed reconstruction work on a bridge. The entire practice from the moment you get there, is very professional and they make you feel so comfortable. Any question I had was answered with patience and everything was explained to me. I have had a lot of dental work in my life and I will tell you that I will recommend Dr Lori Kemmet and her practice to anyone who is looking for a qualified, state of the art, dentist. Her workmanship is impeccable and she has the "eye"!

Dr. Uppal is the absolute best. I have been going to her for years now and have always been extremely happy with my experience. Dr. Uppal and her staff are very friendly and make sure that I am always comfortable throughout my appointments. Going into her office for appointments feels more like going to a spa than a dental office. I would absolutely recommend her and her staff to anyone looking for a new dentist!

I am so thankful that my sister recommended Dr. Uppal to me! I have not had the best luck with dentists in the past and have always felt wary about trying someone new. However, I really needed to invest in some work and Dr. Uppal made me feel so comfortable. She was kind and patient walking me through my options and thoroughly explaining what the process was going to look like. Now that everything is done, I can't imagine going anywhere else! Best dental office I've been to. Usually hate going to the dentist but these ladies are really kind and caring. Their new doctor, Priya, is very kind and knowledgeable. I want the world to know how responsive and exceptional Priya Uppal DDS is to work with. Lori Kemmet DDS is equally amazing. Today I contacted their office, where I am a client, and asked for help with a minor chip in one of my teeth. I was offered an appointment right away and received generous, comprehensive treatment of the chip. In addition, Dr. Uppal offered suggestions for preventative intervention if/when I'm ready for that. Dr. Uppal and her staff could not have been more responsive, friendly and competent. I've been with Incredible Smiles for decades, and today's experience is one of the best examples of why I remain a loyal, delighted customer!

HORRIFIC WORK - SHES BASIC Charging you an arm and a leg, she drools with her thinking she's getting money!!! It cost me OVER 14,000 TO FIX WHAT SHE CHARGED ME 21,000 TO DO. IT WAS AWFUL!!! SHE GROUND MY TEETH TO NOTHING AND BROKE EVERYTHING ELSE/ TRIES TO BLAME EVERYTHING ON EVERYONE BUT HER. SHE'S ARROGANT AND A HORRIBLE DENTIST

Incredible Smiles has changed my life. Fifteen years ago Lori Kemmet put veneers on my tetracycline-stained teeth. I went from feeling self-conscious and poorly to loving my teeth, my smile and myself. The transformation truly changed my life. She is an expert in her field, and her work and talent is amazing. Recently, my 90 yr. old mother was told she need to haven an implant removed. Both Lori and Priya Uppal, another dentist from the practice saw my mother, they did x-rays and two examinations free of charge. They determined that my mother did not need her implant removed. Their knowledge and expertise abounds, their kindness and generosity is beyond measure. Their entire office staff is delightful. I highly recommend them to anyone. Dori Naas

I have been receiving all my dental services through Incredible Smiles for years even though it is a 3 hour round trip for me. This practice provides an outstanding range of dental services, excellent patient education and encouragement. From your first phone call to schedule an appointment you received the attention you might expect from a 5 star Spa. I am beyond impressed with Dr. Lori. I had my laterals bonded due to them not being proportional to the rest of my smile. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my teeth, as I will rely on them for my future career. She has given me the smile I've been wanting desperately and it looks so natural/beautiful. Not sure how my mom's teeth are popping out less than a year of service here. Within 1 year, 2 teeth fell out. 3rd is gone. Another starting to break so we are at lucky #4. She only had 8 done total. She has to completely get her teeth redone. The "doctor" offered no help. Not sure how she passed dental school, but money shouldn't be this important to you and teeth should NEVER fall out within a few years, let *less than ONE (1) year. Really a disgusting practice. Never heard of anything like it.

SCAM ARTIST!!!!!She won't think twice about trying to insert herself into your pocketbook! After giving her $15,000 in a year later, it cost over $45,000 to have the mess she made fixed! Really... I've never seen anybody in my life so greedy. The fees kept changing as we got further along until I had nothing left. She does a garbage job
