When I tell people about how much I enjoy my work as a dentist, I get looks of surprise. However, I find enormous satisfaction in what I do. It is not just the intriguing technical, surgical and scientific aspects of dentistry that I love: It is the unique personal relationships I experience every day. Dentistry really is incredibly personal. My patients place a lot of trust in me. I work every day to live up to that trust and make them feel as comfortable, safe and well informed as I possibly can.
It is not just about your teeth it is also about who you are and how you feel when you are in my chair. Every patient has different needs, preferences, goals and concerns, and every treatment plan needs to address those differences. I work to treat the whole person, and that means making my patients full partners in decisions about their care, providing them with the best possible information on all the treatment options that are available and listening carefully to their questions and concerns so that they feel fully vested in the process and outcomes. I want my patients to have the best possible dental care, and good outcomes depend not just on my skills and tools as a dentist but also on how well I communicate with and listen to my patients.
My roots are in Northern Colorado, and my wife, a teacher at Conifer High School, grew up on the Western Slope. Both of us are proud to serve the state we love, and our two young boys and new little girl fill our lives with noise and laughter. When we are not working, you will find us doing what we love most, which includes spending time together and taking advantage of all the things this great state has to offer. We love camping, fishing, hiking, biking, playing sports or cheering on our home teams.

I'm a recent transplant from San Antonio TX and extremely happy to have found Incline Dentistry. Mark gave me an excellent deep cleaning, was very skilled and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you to the entire staff at Incline Dentistry for making my visit a good experience.

I had serious apprehension going to the Dentist due to a bad experience that took place years ago. When I recently had a dental emergency from an accident, a friend referred me to Dr. Barr and I'm so grateful they did. The team at Incline Family Dentistry couldn't have been more helpful, professional or kind. They fit me in and took amazing care of me. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience!

Friendly staff. Best cleaning ever! Modern equipment used. I was not reprimanded for not flossing or brushing incorrectly :). I have found my family dentist for the future.

The first time I went into Incline Dentistry was for a routine cleaning, which was amazing! Everything felt so clean and safe. Everyone was incredibly friendly! I even asked if they were hiring, it felt like such a fun place to work! I felt so welcomed by the amazing staff! They were able to catch a pretty serious issue by x-ray so as a result I became a very regular patient. Dr. Travis is not only the best dentist I've ever had but so are his hygienists! Amy at incline will have you laughing until your teeth fall out and then Dr. T will put them back in perfectly, while explaining the entire procedure to you so you feel comfortable and in the know! Love Incline! The people, the environment, the energy! For the first time ever, I look forward to routine cleanings because Incline feels more like family then that trip to the dentist you keep putting off. There aren't enough stars to give for Incline!

Easy 5 stars. Dr. Barr is exceptional as well as the entire staff. They are very friendly and welcoming. I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year but Dr. Barr & his hygienists walked me through everything, educating me & answering any questions I had. Incline provided a very high quality experience making me feel safe, welcome, and comfortable. I am excited for my next visit! Thanks for the great experience :)

Dr. Barr is really great. I was very careful selecting a new dentist after going to franchise dentist offices and not really feeling like my dental health was really cared for in those offices for years. He's very nice, professional and helpful. I felt like I was finally in good hands! His staff is great and the office is clean and professional as well.
