Dr. Katrina Baeverstad is delighted to be the proud new owner of In The Loop Dental since December 2020. Dr. Baeverstad resides in the Chicagoland area where she has practiced dentistry for over a decade and is thrilled to be a part of the In The Loop Dental family.
Dr. Baeverstad attended St. Olaf College for her undergraduate degree where she received a BA in Religion in 2004. She then went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009. Upon graduation, Dr. Baeverstad was accepted into a residency program in general dentistry at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, with completion in 2010. She has been a member of the ADA, ISDS and CDS since 2010.
In her spare time, Dr. Baeverstad is an active member of CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association) and is currently training for her sixth marathon in Berlin, Germany this fall. She enjoys being outdoors, cycling, traveling, reading and spending time with her family in Northern Michigan. She lives with her adopted greyhound Maisie, a retired racer, in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago.
Stephanie is our Insurance Coordinator and has been in the dental field for two years. Stephanie finds it rewarding to help patients understand their insurance benefits and enjoys interacting with people daily. Outside of work, Stephanie is a full-time busy mom with two young boys.
Abby is one of our Dental Hygienists and has 6 years of experience. When not at work, Abby enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Abby is originally from Minnesota and appreciates anything to do with lake activities, exercising, traveling and listening to podcasts. We are happy to have her on our team!
Julie is our new dental hygienist as of October 2021 and the newest member of our team! With over 20 years of dental experience, Julie comes to us with a vast amount of knowledge. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, gardening and spending time with her family. Her favorite travel destination is somewhere warm and sunny!
Ana started working at In The Loop in 2018 and she is one of our dental assistants. Ana has a passion for helping patients reach their goal of a healthy smile. Out of the office, she is busy at home working on home improvement projects. She and her husband have four beautiful children and two cats.
Selena is one of our dental assistants and has been in the dental field for over two years. In her spare time, she has been studying to be a licensed Dental Hygienist where she can have even more of an impact on her patients smiles. Her motto is We all smile every day so why not make it look great!
