Jose M. Mariscal, DDS is a Chicago native, growing up in the Albany Park neighborhood. He graduated from Lane Technical High School and completed his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He continued his education at the UIC College of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree along with a Bachelors of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Mariscal received an award from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry in 2009 and has taken advanced education courses in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, orthodontics, and implant surgery. He is actively pursuing a fellowship in the International Academy of Orthodontics.
Dr. Mariscal is a Diplomate of both the American and International Dental Implant Associations, which are awards given to members who demonstrate the highest standards in implant dentistry through their extensive training and dedication to their profession. He also has a Mastership from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Both of these honors are difficult to achieve and a small percentage of dentists can claim this commitment to their training.
Frank L. Munoz, D.D.S. passed away on Monday, December 26th, 2016. Dr. Munoz will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His boisterous laugh and caring spirit will forever be in our memory. He will always remain in our hearts and his legacy will live on through the In Smyle Family that he and his wife Lucy have created.
Carolina Boege, DMD was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil and graduated from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in 2008. While at USP, Dr. Carolina worked as an assistant in a variety of clinics, including general dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, trauma center and oral and maxillofacial.
After graduating, Dr. Carolina decided to come to Chicago to pursue her career as a dentist in the US. While preparing to join the UIC program, she worked at Central DuPage Orthodontics and volunteered at the Chicago Dental Society clinic in Wheaton, IL. In 2014, she joined the Advanced Standing DMD program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and graduated with honors in 2016. Dr. Carolina was a recipient of the Alan C. Peterson scholarship and was nominated and chosen to be part of the OKU Honor Society.
Dr. Carolina is a certified provider of Invisalign and has been helping many patients achieve their dream smile. In 2019, she completed her certification for injectables, including Botox, Xeomin and dermal fillers used in the clinical treatment of TMJ and Clenching, as well as aesthetics such as gummy smile, crows feet, nasolabial folds (smile lines), and lip enhancement . In addition, Dr. Carolina has completed advanced training and continuing education in the areas of oral surgery, endodontics, posterior and anterior restorations, Invisalign, as well as dental implants.
In her free time, Dr. Carolina enjoys spending time with her family (she has 2 boys), fitness (avid strength training enthusiast), trying different cuisines (her fave is Mediterranean) and traveling (Australia is on her bucket list). Dr. Carolina is very happy to be a part of the In Smyle Dental family. She truly loves serving her patients by providing them oral health education, improving their overall health, and helping them to look and feel their absolute best .

Been coming here for over 20 years. Today Ana Cheng cleaned my teeth. She's super efficient and has a soft touch. My teeth felt so clean. I wish I could have my teeth cleaned monthly. She had great suggestions for keeping up with my flossing. Can't wait to be back!

After being in the hands of 3 dentists with bad manners I've tried InSmyle by recommendation and have been there since. The front staff is professional, it is easy to book and reschedule visits, they take time and patience to explain all your questions about prices and insurance coverage. Dr Carolina is experienced and friendly, it's fun to watch her work, she loves what she does and makes it look so easy and painless. I have moved but still drive to them for any dental work!

I recently went to see Dr. Nicholas Flores-Hutton to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I haven't seen a dentist in over 7 years because I have always had uncomfortable experiences with dentists. Dr. Flores-Hutton truly changed my perspective on how going to the dentist can be. I was treated with respect and autonomy as he let me go at my pace and took breaks when needed. He listened to me when I said I was still in pain even after the 'normal' amount of local anesthetic, and provided what I needed. He was so encouraging throughout the whole procedure and told me I was doing great (when I probably was the most dramatic patient). In addition to Dr. Flores-Hutton, the staff is great and incredibly punctual. I could not recommend this practice more.

I cannot say enough good things about the dentists and dental hygienist here. I have been coming here since I was kid. Dr. Munoz was my hero (may he RIP). He filed down my 2 front teeth when I was 10 after I jokingly asked if that was possible. As an adult I made the mistake of going to a dentist closer to home and he told me I'd have to have surgery to remove my molars which hadn't come out yet. Dr. Munoz simply asked if they were bothering me, they weren't, so boom no need for surgery. Those molars still havent come out and have never bothered me. I guess some dentist recommend certain procedures to get more insurance $. That's not the case with this practice. When Dr. Munoz passed everyone at the office was so understanding of how hard it was to trust a new dentist (new to me, not new to the practice). I now see Dr. Mariscal and he is great. I absolutely love Lucy she is the best dental hygienist ever! Sandra is a fantastic hygienist as well I just have history with Lucy. I've referred so many people here and they've all left so happy they end up referring others. The office is always nice and clean as well as the restrooms. Paid parking in front of the office, but you can also park on side streets before 5pm - read the signs.

I had a wicked toothache and needed to get in somewhere fast. I called Insmyle on Monday and they got me in on Thursday as a new patient. The staff were incredibly nice and not like your typical dental office. I was blown away by the cleanliness of the office as well as the updated technology. My doctor was very helpful and solved my issue no problem. I will definitely be coming back.

Dr Carolina Boege is the best dentist and the nicest person. I would recommend her to everyone. I used to be very uncomfortable with dentists. Not with Dr Boege though! She makes me feel super comfortable and relaxed. It's always a pleasure seeing her and she always does an amazing job with teeth bonding.

Best dentist office by far. Friendly and helpful staff that are considerate and welcoming. My hygienist, Sandra, is so pleasant and extremely easy to talk to. She (along with everyone here) is very knowledgeable; I feel like the entire team here treats you like a member of their own family and has your best interests, and your teeth, at heart. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

In Smyle. Is the Best Place !! Dr.Mariscal is the Best he takes his time and is concern for your teeth health in general ! I had such messed up teeth ashamed to even smile.I thought there was no hope Dr.Mariscal created such a detailed plan for me . Monica, the dental assistant, was so friendly and talk me through the X-rays since they are a little uncomfortable. Anna, the dental hygienist, was also very kind and thorough. Dr. Boege was so sweet highly recommended her. Loved my experience over all and will definitely be back

I am 12 years old and my family and I have been going to in Smyle for my whole life and for all the time I've been there they've treated us more then like there clients or customers they have treated us like we are apart of their family they don't just talk about your teeth and all that they ask how school is or how you have been feeling or how was your day. It has been a pleasure going to in smyle and will continue to be!

Best dentist in Chicago! Everyone is super nice and they're very accommodating. Gets a little busy on the weekends, but they're still quick and efficient. Dr. Nick is the best!

I was a patient for 18 months while I had my braces and each visit, the dr and the staff were super friendly, prompt and professional. The appointments weren't easy for me but the staff was very attentive and truly cared to make sure I was comfortable. Getting appointments scheduled was also very easy. I highly recommend this office!
