Dr Robert Perez always knew he wanted to be a dentist and achieved his goal of graduating fromLouisiana School of Dentistryin 1976. He served our nation in the U.S Army where he completed his mini-residency in general dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry in North Tampa ever since. He enjoys both participating and watching many different sporting activities especially if it involves the water.

Monica was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University, New Orleans. After graduation in 1986, she started her career as a hygienist with Dr. Robert Perez. Monica has worked continuously for Dr. Perez, except for a 15 month hiatus after her 1st of 3 daughters was born in 1992. After 26 years practicing here, most of her patients have become old friends. She finds it most rewarding to build long term relationships with patients and to see the positive results of teamwork. Most of her free time is filled with her husband and 3 daughters.
Emergencies are accepted. New patient exams are seen by Dr. Perez, where he will do a very thorough complete examination which includes: oral cancer screening, TMJ evaluation, bite evaluation, periodontal exam and dental exam.
We accept checks, cash or credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover. We also offer a flexible payment plan through CareCredit and Citi Health. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

I had my first visit today and they did an amazing job. Took care of my teeth to help with my confidence and also were just so sweet and informative of everything we needed to do. Def happy I found such a great dental office. Best one I've had thus far. Thank you all

I'm an Army Veteran and I have been a patient since 2018 and my experience has been absolutely wonderful. Before coming to Impressive Smiles I hated the dentist, but Dr. Perez changed that and he changed my life by giving me a beautiful smile something that I haven't had in a long time. I'm excited to continue my relationship with the new doctors in the future.

I moved to Florida about 7 years ago and have been looking for a dentist ever since. Well...I don't have to search anymore! Everyone here is so friendly, educated, it's clean and they communicate well with their customers. I can't refer or recommend them enough. Great job everyone, see you at my next cleaning.

Wow,l was totally afraid to pain and the dentist,but Dr.Perez have magical hands,experience,after six extractions-NO pain,no swelling-inflammation no discomfort whatsoever.,even after the anesthesia effect was gone! Wow that's wonderful. I will recommend him to everybody.thanks God.

Dr. Perez has been my dentist for many years now. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He can tell you why you need something done, or not. And he stands by his work. If there is a problem, he will resolve it, period. Dr. Perez is very personable, easy to talk to. I'd also like to mention Monica, the dental hygienist there. She is the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a cleaning. Five stars.

I went to Dr Perez to get cosmetic work my front teeth before my wedding several years ago. The crowns that he did on my teeth looked ridiculous. I was only in my low 20's at that time. I didn't know any better. Some people still don't know who is a good dentist or not. They just trust the dentist. But they look terrible from the start! He didn't even have my crown's ready and I did get married wearing temporary crowns. That is a major NO, NO!!! So many things can go wrong!! Now I am older and a Dental Hygienist. I did get the crowns replaced by a quality dentist. When the dentist removed the horrible crowns that Dr Perez did, we were shocked to see the poor dentistry that was done to my teeth. Dr Perez removed too much tooth structure and did a poor job with the margins of the teeth as well. I do run the risk of my teeth breaking at some point. In addition, he used a very poor material which is called PFM (porcelain fused to metal). This material should not be used for front teeth!!!!The teeth were long, boxy and with an awful color. And I will not forget the very painful injections that he gave me on the day that he placed the permanent crowns with a satisfying look on his eyes.

You could not ask for a better team to work on you and you're teeth, Doctor Robert Perez goes over and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident that you are going to be taking care of. All of his staff from the receptionist up to the hygienist are assuring that your needs are going met to the highest quality of service. Always greeting you with a smile and attitude of willing to help you in any way. You could not ask for better service from any other Dentist office in the Tampa Bay area.

Both Dr Perez and his assitant Barbara made the experience of getting a crown as good as it gets. No pain, thorough and efficient work, friendly staff, sensitive and caring dentist and staff. . . all went so well. I was tempted to postpone the work until after the holidays, but I am so glad I moved forward with the plan to get the work done now. No need to worry about having a dental emergency! I highly recommend Dr. Perez's work. He is a perfectionist.
