Throughout his professional career, Dr. Swoverland has attended numerous continuing education courses pertaining to the treatment of debilitating chronic pain conditions such asTMD/ TMJ, headaches, migraines, and associated symptoms.
Dr. Swoverlands interest incosmetic dental proceduresironically developed due to the needs of many chronic pain patients. With successful elimination of painful symptoms, many required a more long-term solution to assure that their symptoms did not return.This is when Dr. Swoverland developed a passion for performing full mouth dental reconstructions as a method for maintaining the proper tooth-jaw-muscle relationship.
Due to his extensive education in performing full mouth dental reconstructive procedures, it was natural for Dr. Swoverland to start performing smaller cosmetic dental procedures to meet the needs of ourfamily dental practice.Utilizing the same techniques acquired for large complex cases, Dr. Swoverland began performing cosmetic dentistry with veneers for patients that want to improve their smile. Dr. Swoverlands choice to use advanced clinical techniques, combined with the highest quality restorative materials, quickly lead to a growing reputation for providing outstanding cosmetic dentistry in West Lafayette, IN.
Dr. Swoverland was the first in the area to achieve graduate status from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies (LVI).He has also been a member of the American Dental Association, West Central Dental Association, Chicago Dental Association, and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
Robert graduated from Purdue Universitys Krannert School of Management in 2001. He joined the dental team in 2004 and has served as our organizations director since 2008.He manages all day-to-day business operations of the practice and oversees finances, HIPPA compliancy, and safety.
Robert is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) and has served on the Board of Directors for Lafayette Business to Business (LBB) since 2010, heading the organization as President in 2014-2015.Robert takes numerous continuing education courses in the field of dentistry through the AADOM, as well asInvisalignstudy clubs through Align Technology.
His experience in business and dentistry has provided vast knowledge of the profession. He enjoys sharing this knowledge by speaking to prospective dental students and clubs on The Business of Dentistry, providing education on various practice models.
Annas journey brought her to Indiana, where she has been the patient coordinator in our practice since 1990.She attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and receives ongoing education from Align Technologies in the area of Invisalign services.She greets every patient that enters our office with a warm smile and is our primary source of communication.Anna is also responsible for all insurance filings and communications between our office and the insurance providers.
Jeanne earned her expanded functions dental assisting credentials and has attended the Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies. She has extensive experience in full mouth dental reconstruction,cosmetic smile makeovers, neuromuscular treatment, as well as general family dentistry.
Regardless of how one feels when arriving at the office, Jeanne assures that they leave with a smile on their face. She enjoys working with all of our guests, and she keeps the atmosphere fun and enjoyable for everyone.
Linda is a 1984 graduate of Marquette University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene and a minor in psychology.While in college earning her degree, she also functioned as a dental assistant.

I would give 10 stars if possible. I had broken a tooth and after a while it began to hurt. I had scheduled an extraction with another doctor and things did not work out. Desperate I called Impressions, they were able to get me in immediately. I was supremely impressed with everyone. Rob at the front desk was very nice and super efficient. Jean the assistant was both personable and professional. Within an hour of making the initial call the tooth was out (painlessly) and a bone graft was in place. I am so grateful to have found this office and proud to call Dr. Swoverland my new dentist. Thank you, Rob. Thank you, Jean. Thank you, Dr. Swoverland.

The entire team at Impressions Dental is friendly, helpful, and caring. They always make you feel welcome, and do great dental work. If there is ever an issue, they are quick to take care of it. My wife and I have really enjoyed getting to know them. If you are looking for a good dentist, I would recommend you give them a call.

I am beyond happy with my results I received from Dr. Swoverland and his amazing staff! I have always been unhappy with my smile due to staining and crooked teeth. I began with getting Invisalign to straighten my teeth a few years ago. I loved the results but recently decided I wanted to do something about the stains on my teeth that I've had since I was a kid. I had a consultation and it was decided I would try veneers. I LOVE them. The process was pretty quick and painless. I would definitely recommend Impressions Dental to anyone needing any type of dental work! Very professional staff and a clean, friendly environment.

I have a horrible fear of dentist, I was referred to Dr. Swoverland by a friend, l have been there twice and both times for emergency work, because of my fear I only went when I absolutely had to, I could not stand the pain. I have had the best experience, the staff is absolutely wonderful and Dr. Swoverland is Awesome and always takes his time as he knows my fear. He is very gentle.They make me feel very comfortable and I have now decided that I will go back for regular dental work, and that is something I never thought I would be able to do. Recently I had a tooth pulled and it was NOT a bad experience. Thank You all for making me feel comfortable and helping me get past my fear of dentists.

I contacted this dental office after recently moving to the area. The staff is very friendly and treats me like I have been coming for years. The treatment for my toothache was clearly explained to me and they offered several options, one of which was seeking a specialists opinion before proceeding. I did have the procedure done at this office because I felt that my well being was their top priority. Highly recommend. A++++

Went here because I had some tooth pain from some dental work I had done back home before coming to school at Purdue and needed a bite adjustment on my filling. I called, they got me in the same day and were extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I visit this dentist office for Invisalign. They also did Invisalign for a friend. They also did a cleaning for me and found a filling that need to be done. I got to see my xray to see the large dark spot that is decay. I was given three options to fix tooth. They were very honest and kind. I fixed my tooth with a filling and should get my Invisalign in a few weeks. I recommend this dentist office for cleanings and fillings and Invisalign.
