Dr. David Painter grew up in Hoagland, Indiana, and has practiced dentistry in Fort Wayne since 1995. He is a kind and gentle practitioner; attentive to each patients comfort and desires, he provides each the high-quality care hed offer his loved ones.
Through his independently owned practice, Dr. Painter has the freedom to design treatment based on what a patient desires. He and his team take time to talk with each patient, learning their concerns and goals, and discussing various treatment approaches to achieve their healthiest smile.
Continuing education is core to Dr. Painters commitment to his profession and his patients. He and his team strive to stay ahead of the curve in dentistry: ongoing research and developments constantly advance the way cases are diagnosed, treatment is planned, and services are provided. For Dr. Painter, continuing education study clubs, meetings, lectures, seminars are all opportunities to improve the quality of care he and his staff provide.
Dr. Painter has concentrated on developing new skills to better meet the needs of his patients. He is currently one of the few general dentists in the region with an Indiana Sedation Permit, allowing him to provide IV sedation services. Additionally, he has completed numerous advanced courses and trainings in implant dentistry, including placement and restorations.
Dr. Painter and his family have resided in Auburn, Indiana, for over 25 years. He and Julie, his wife of 36 years, have two sons: Dan is recent graduateofPurdue and Jo is a student at the University of Saint Francis. The family enjoys supporting the kids many activities and treasures their time together.
Dentistry has been a passion of Dr. Amer Abusabhas for as long as he can remember. The creative ingenuity and degree of variability accompanied by his enthusiasm for interacting with and caring for people drew him to dentistry and makes him excited to come to work each day.
Dr. Amer earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Detroit Mercy. He continued on to the Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD), where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Amer is continually expanding his knowledge in implant dentistry to best provide solutions in replacing missing teeth. He continues to expand his knowledge onrestorative dentistry to understandcomposites to fundamentally provide minimally invasive treatment and preserve more tooth structure to extend the life cycle of the restored tooth. Dr. Ameris constantly staying up to date with his knowledge of digital dentistryalong with pain management approaches that serve as an alternativeto opioids.
Dr. Amer grew up in Dearborn and Detroit, Michigan, as the eldest of five in a family of doctors. He is engaged to Hana, a bright third-year dental student at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
When not at work, Dr. Amer can be found racking up miles around Northeast Fort Wayneon foot! As an avid runner, he has completed 12 marathons, 14 half marathons, and counting. He has recently started cycling with Dr. Painter and hopes to do an Ironman soon!
