Dr. Hacker received his BS in General Science from Harding University in 1974. In 1978, he earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Having completed his formal education over three decades ago, Dr. Hacker has gained extensive clinical experience. Additionally, he takes continuing education classes and workshops. He wants to stay abreast of the latest dental advances to bring you the most effective and efficient care. Among other things, he has training in dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, treatment for cranial facial pain, and advanced dental implant planning. Dr. Hacker has also served as a faculty member at several national dental meetings.
With over 30 years in practice and over 10,000 dental implants placed, Dr. Timothy Hacker is an expert in the field of implant dentistry. He maintains associations with some of the most prestigious dental implant organizations in the country; Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Hacker has continually exceeded the continuing education requirements set to ensure that his patients receive the highest level of care.
Dr. Danielle Bauman is committed to providing the excellent dental care that you and your family have come to know. Dr. Bauman is very caring and passionate, and we know that you will appreciate her clinical expertise, chairside manner, and intentionality.
Dr. Bauman grew up in Georgia and recently moved to Tennessee with her husband. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. She then attended the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. She graduated with honors and was part of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, among other achievements. Dr. Bauman then went on to complete an Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Dental College of Georgia where she received extensive training in sedation, implants, and other areas of modern dental techniques.
Dr. Bauman is looking forward to developing long term relationships with both current and future patients at Implant and Family Dentistry. She is committed to patient comfort and looks forward to continuing to practice gentle, patient-centered dentistry. Her goal is to make every mouth and smile just as healthy as it is beautiful.
A traditional full denture replaces your entire upper or lower dental arch. It is supported by an acrylic, gum-colored base that sits snugly around your gums. Denture adhesive and suction helps to keep the new teeth in place. Thanks to advanced fabrication techniques, todays dentures fit better and look more natural than ever before.
A traditional partial denture replaces several adjacent teeth. Like a full denture, it has an acrylic, gum-colored base. Small, carefully concealed metal clasps connect to the adjacent natural teeth and hold the denture in place.
An implant-supported denture offers a high degree of stability and a lifelike appearance. Dr. Hacker will surgically place several small implant posts in the jaw to create a stable base for this permanent restoration. Implants can support a full or partial denture.
Implant and Family Dentistry will use extremely precise techniques to ensure that you receive a highly lifelike denture that fits comfortably in your mouth. He will take impressions and pictures of your gums and surrounding teeth and send them to our partner lab. There, technicians will create restorations from state-of-the-art zirconia. This type of porcelain is extremely strong and has a unique, lifelike sheen. Our lab uses computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology to create dentures that fit the precise measurements of your mouth.
If you choose implant-supported dentures, our team will also carefully plan out the placement of your implant posts. We will use advanced technology, such as digital x-rays, computed tomography CT scans, and cone beam imaging to get a detailed view of your oral structure. Often, we will use the All-on-4 method to provide you with new teeth in a single day. With this technique, we will place four smaller implant posts at angle, minimizing the impact to your surrounding jawbone.
If you are missing all or most of your teeth, you are a good candidate for dentures. However, because dentures rest on the gums, you must have enough tissue to provide a base for your restoration. If gum recession has severely impacted your oral structure, Implant and Family Dentistry can perform ridge augmentation. During this procedure, he will graft skin or bone tissue to build up your alveolar ridge and provide an adequate foundation for your new denture.
To receive implant-supported dentures, you must also have enough bone volume to support the implant posts. Our office offers several advanced procedures that may make you a candidate for implants. Bone grafting and sinus lifts are both highly effective treatments that can enhance your bone structure and create room for the implant posts.

I have been having issues with my teeth, dreading to go to the dentist for months, because of my fear of dentist. But when I say from beginning to the end of my visit with Implant dentistry was supper. Best experience I've had with a dentist in 20 year's. I will be returning to complete all my work.

3/6/2020 Just had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Danielle and Tonya. Could not have asked for a better experience! Professional, painless, and extremely quick! Wish I had more wisdom teeth to get removed. 10/10 would recommend!

I did have an issue with billing here. It took a minute but it was eventually sorted out. Therefore, I changed my review to 5* because everyone was nice, but maybe my situation was one off and the front desk just weren't given the authority to correct it. Im not completely sure, but other than the billing issue the services and people are good to work with.

The staff is supportive and I would not consider going anyplace else. I found this office over 15 years ago and able to get all the dental services needed. My husband and I both the attend the same location for all dental services. Thanks to the staff and Dentists in the office , I will have all services including implants and cleaning.

Dr. Tim and his terrific staff cannot be beat. They are the best, most caring, efficient I have found for my son who has quite a bit of physical issues. He is relaxed and is never anxious about upcoming appointments and procedures. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Mid-South Implant and Family Dentistry for as long as I can remember, (since at least the 1990s), and have always had great experiences. Dr. Tim and his staff are SO gentle and caring. When my husband and I began dating, he had tooth pain, and no previous dental "care" (other than daily brushing), so he was apprehensive about addressing this pain. I took him to Dr. Tim for an exam (resulting in surgery), and the entire staff was so kind to him. They explained every detail involved with the surgery - from the actual procedure, to billing/insurance, and aftercare. My husband has also seen Dr. Neil Johnson for routine exams, and he also explains necessary details in his exam findings. It is my personal opinion that dental health should be as important as all other aspects of health; the information the staff here provides for patients highlights this importance.

I I read a lot of scary things on the internet from the possible complications of an implant. I did a lot of fact checking and research before choosing Dr. Hacker to install my implant. I am glad I did because everything went textbook perfect. The procedure went exactly the way he said it would go. It has been nine months since he replaced a front tooth and all is well. I would highly recommend him. As a bonus, everyone in his office is very helpful and extra friendly.

I trust these people because they do an excellent job meeting my dental needs, and they go over the top to make me feel comfortable. I've had some major dental work done, which was discussed with me and explained to me so I understood .I appreciate their integrity and honesty, and note that the staff truly work together as a team .I highly recommend this practice!

I moved to Bartlett a little over four years ago and came across this little family dentistry place and fell in love with the employees here! They are all so sweet. Tammy is my hygienist and has done a phenomenal job every time I have been there. I love Dr Hacker as well as Dr Johnson. I highly recommend if you want a personable staff helping you with your dentistry needs.
